This shoe store just recently opened at the EL Con Mall. Several different types of shoes, purses, socks ect. As of right now they are still getting shoes in stock so it appears they will get shoes in all the time. The store is located right next to Ross. read more

Decided to come buy a pair of shoes in the store rather than waiting for them to be shipped online. The woman checking me out was obviously flustered by a coworker watching her. I asked about the final price since online the shoes were $20 cheaper and the coworker was very rude about my question and snapped back they would not match the online price. I understand some stores don't price match, but her hostile tone and bad attitude had me leave very quickly after asking what I thought was just a simple question. I read another review from a year ago about what I think is the same employee. Made me hate shoe carnival and I'm not even going to buy the shoes online now. read more

A nice shoe store open last year locate at El Con Mall. Not as overwhelming as DSW and not boring and ghetto like F Footwear. Nice layout with good organization: Wedges in one area, flats in another, tennys in another, etc. Affordable prices unlike DSW where shoes are still expensive simply because they are name brand even though they are marked down. I purchased a pair of running shoe from the Carnival yet but its only a matter of time since they do have some really cute shoes. Overall, a very pleasant shopping experience at Shoe Carnival. :) read more

I made the mistake of bringing a friend here on his bday to buy him shoes. In the 5 minutes it had taken me to break off from him to browse the women's section, a female african american employee had chosen to make him feel super uncomfortable by singling him out, invading his shopping space, stereotyping him, asking security to escort him out, telling him that he was no longer allowed at that store & that he would be charged with trespassing if he ever came back. This is all because "HE WAS WEARING A POOFY JACKET." My friend understandably became very upset by this because he had no intention of stealing from this store, nor did he appreciate being treated like he was. He was confused as to why his clothing made him a target & more so as to why he was ultimately banned from there for choosing to voice his opinion about it. I'm not sure if this store has a problem with theft or if their employees were misinformed during training by telling them do their best to pick out individuals whom wear poofy jackets into their store & to not let their guard down or put it past them that they will not steal, because they absolutely will(like toddlers o& elderly people too or...?) I made a point to mention that this employee was african american because of the fact that she decided to use the same judgemental tactics against my friend as I'm sure she has had to have been the victim of in a similar experience at least once in her life?! Either way, I'm not only enraged by this incident, but I'm so unbelievably embarrassed by the way the situation began, the way it escalated & even more about how it was handled. It's unfortunate that she decided to waste her & the security guard's valuable time & energy on THIS not only because it disabled them from noticing the growing customer audience & losing multiple sales(2 other families who were audience witnesses chose to follow behind us as we left the store)but since their entire attention was focused on this petty nonsense, they would've easily been giving an open opportunity for any legitimiate thieves to steal anything they desired in the store during this time. It's been enough for me to decide on taking the necessary steps in contacting a coporate official & more so for the bigger picture in this incident which is the urgency for additional training on customer stereotyping, harassment, wrongful accusations & the education on these topics possible legal consequences. I do not plan on ever returning to shoe carnival, but I'd like to think that I'm helping to avoid similar future situations from happening to my fellow Tucsonans. read more

The store itself is not well kept at all. It was pretty messy and unorganized for a shoe store but their low prices and good amount of high-end brands was satisfactory. I got a good deal on some last season womens nikes and they were super comfortable. (I was not greeted or asked if I needed help so I found them on my own). They were doing a BOGO 1/2 off for two pairs of shoes. I got a pair of flip flops for my second pair. The store had listed the nike sneakers with a price as $65 originally $70. When I went to purchase, the cashier rang them up as $70 and I said, "I thought those had a special going on and I think they should be $65". Without walking over to check the sign or anything the cashier changed the price to $65. I thought that was odd but didn't say anything, paid, and left. When I got home though I realized the flip flops should have been rung up at a slightly lower cost too. (The cashier had the 1/2 off correct for the BOGO but the flip flops also had an additional discount on top). So, long story short, their special prices on shoes must not be part of their barcodes or something when they scan them. So pay attention to their pricing. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my purchase, but don't expect anything fancy if you decide to shop here. read more

let me start by saying the store is clean the shoes fairly priced and a great addition to the mall which i come to often. But all of those great things can go to hell because the way i was treated at this place tops the cake. i go in to get my family shoes and they didnt have any of the sizes i was looking for so one of the girls was doing her best to help me find other shoes when the store manager approached the girl with the most nasty attitude saying theres other people here you can be helping the girl tell her he still needs help she said well theres other people here and walked off. i tell the girl that was rude she kept apologizing and walked away. now mind you there was 3 people in the store and 3 workers i was in disbelief did i really just see a manager get mad at a worker for helping someone i may as well go somewhere where no one is willing to help at all i saw the girl a few minutes later and said sorry for getting her in trouble all she can say is im sorry so we will see how long this place stay here if they keep treating people this way read more
