Many problems with pain in my left foot. I work on cement floors all day and my feet have suffered and finally caused me great pain. Went to Fleet Feet in Tucson and was quickly met by Connie. She was very nice and attentive and asked me several question, measured my feet electronically and brought out sever pairs and brands. I liked the HOKAs and got a pair and inserts. She led me to the exact pair I needed. The shoes were not inexpensive, but how many pairs of other brands have I purchased and I suffered. Too many. The HOKAs are worth it. It took me awhile to find the store at Oracle Crossings (it is near Brake Max) but am glad I persisted. I've always had trouble finding comfortable shoes. The person that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what brand would be best for my feet. They also have an xray to have more information about what will work well with your foot structure. She suggested that I might want an insert and she was right-the shoe with the insert was very comfortable. I wanted a different color and they ordered it. It came in within a week or so and the person that helped me with these shoes was also very helpful and helped me find the right insert. I'm really happy with the shoes. Having someone wait on you that takes the time to make sure you get the exact right shoes for you is wonderful. And the great shoes are a real bonus. This is an absolutely AMAZING shoe store! Do you have tired feet at the end of the day, sore feet, tired legs, medical conditions and just can't find comfortable shoes? Fleet feet is far superior to any shoe store in town. I came here on a recommendation from a friend to have my feet measured to make sure that I am getting the correct fit. It was painless and only took about 30 seconds to find out that for years I have been buying the wrong shoes. They have a large selection of running shoes and apparel. After taking the scan the sales person helping me ( I wish I remembered her name as she and I am sure all of the employees deserve kudos) brought out three pairs of shoes for me to try on, 2 pairs of Hoka's and a pair of New Balance. I absolutely fell in love with the Hoka Clifton 9's. She also showed me a pair of bungee shoe laces that hold tight even while running. She was a delight to work with and I learned more about feet and shoes in 30 minutes than I have known my whole life. They help you try on the shoe and even tie it for you, so I felt really taken care of during the process. I loved my experience at Fleet Feet. The service was great - I was able to find two pairs of supportive walking shoes, sandals, socks, and some slip-ons. The shoes have been instrumental in my recovery from Achilles Tendonitis. For some reason, the Oofas slip-ons that I purchased didn't work for me. I returned them without any hassle. I had such a wonderful experience, a few days later, I took my husband over to get fitted for shoes. He purchased 2 pairs of shoes and sandals. He has told me multiple times that these are the most comfotable shoes he has. They mapped out my feet, recommended some models of the style I was looking for, and let me try a couple of pairs to find what worked best. Sure, it's a bit more expensive than buying sneakers on sale online, but I think it's worth paying for some advice, especially if (like me) you don't have any knowledgeable friends you can drag along shopping with you. At last! A proper shoe store where fit is everything. KATELYNN scanned my son's feet - size, width and a slightly collapsed right arch (which we knew about as he's had tailored insoles). She came back with 3 pairs of which one was perfect and recommended insoles. My son wore them straightaway although she warned that it might be uncomfortable for a couple of days as his feet adjust to the insoles and to come back if/when. Mercedes took the time I needed to fine the right pair of shoes for my feet. I suffer from shin splints, so the right shoe is super important. Her recommendations were spot on. Went in this evening to check in for a local run. Decided to browse to see if they could help me find my perfect fit of shoe. I browsed for about 5-10 minutes. 3 store employees were helping other customers out and one was finishing up a sale. Once she got done, instead of coming over to me (who had been there longer), she walked up to another customer and started asking her if she needed help. Neither of us had ever gone through the process of being formally fitted for running shoes and apparently we'd both been wearing the wrong sizes forever! oops! I've sung their praises in reviews of the East side store (and running groups), and I'm happy to say the new store is equally wonderful. Inside the store you'll find running shoes aplenty, sports bras, men's and women's apparel, socks, insoles, hydration and nutrition products, injury prevention and treatment products, safety gear, GPS watches, sunglasses, and probably more that I'm forgetting. Staff are always willing to answer questions about everything in the store, and the fit process is phenomenal-- three camera angles capture your biomechanical details as you jog on a treadmill. They care about getting you into the perfect shoe for you, and if it's not in stock, they'll order it for you. I'm waiting on a shiny new pair of Mizuno Wave Elixir 8s as we speak! As if this weren't enough to win your business, Fleet Feet is so much more than a shoe store-- I'm currently in the 9th week of 10k training with their NW training group. This is a great option if the East side is just a bit too far for you, and the coach to runner ratio is phenomenal (at least until this location takes off like the other one!). The training groups utilize interval training and are cleverly designed to allow you to go at your own pace. I never in a million years would have described myself as a runner, but here I am. No matter your age or experience level, Fleet Feet will treat you like family. As an added bonus, after you drop enough cash at either location, you'll earn rewards-- $25 earned for every $250 spent. I'm new to running. I'm actually on week 3 of the Couch25k program. I realized pretty quickly that if I'm going to do this whole "running thing" that I should make sure to have some good shoes to avoid injury. After polling on Facebook for a good place to get fit for shoes, I settled on Fleet Feet due to the convenience of location. I was greeted by Susan upon arriving. I let her know I'm a new runner and knew I needed shoes but didn't want to pay $200 for a pair. I have a hard time saying no when it comes to being offered products and my wallet was definitely nervous. Susan had me hop on a "fit i.d." board that within seconds provided her with all of the measurements needed for my foot. Much to my surprise, I've been wearing a full shoe size smaller than I should be. Susan spent a great deal of time explaining what I needed in a shoe, that I should consider non-cotton socks and proceeded to assist me in hunting down an excellent shoe as well as running socks. Aside from the new shoes, the best part of the experience was not feeling pressured into purchasing anything. I felt Susan truly cared for my health and well-being with obtaining a good running shoe. He placed my shoes on and tied them for me. I felt like Cinderella. well i have been here 3x. the last two times we have been "helped" by two of the most negative employees i have had the misfortune of being in contact with. they each were argumentative, know -it -alls who like to dictate to customers without actually listening to the customer.
