Second I was fitted by measurements and third I was recorded while running. I was then given options to try. Like everyone has said, the service is amazing. The staff really knows all about not just feet, but how your feet and shoes affect your whole body. They spend plenty of time finding out just what your using the shoes for and then looking at your feet sitting, standing and even walking on the treadmill if needed. I was excited for the newest location of Fleet Feet in Tucson. Even though I am now squarely between both shops, this location is convenient when I am running errands on the west side of town. The store is around the same size as the Tanque Verde location with around the same amount of merchandise. I stopped in to check out the store for their grand opening promotion as well as pick up a few pairs of socks. Just like the last time (at the other location), everyone at Fleet Feet was so friendly and helpful. Sam talked to me for a few minutes about running, my goals, the programs they have there, etc. The owner happened to be there as well and he was super friendly as well, showing a newer sock that they carry. I'm the guy with the Injinji socks who was acknowledged for them by most every customer in the store. But, could I get even a "hello" out of an employee? No. There were two clerks at the register when I set the boxes on the counter and said, "I'll just set these here." The two clerks did not so much as even look up. The couple in front of me acknowledged me, so it wasn't that difficult. Those two clerks finished the purchase and then just walked away. Eventually another clerk walked up, pushed my stuff out of the way, and looked past me to start ringing up the person behind me. Never have I been subjected to such brash rudeness. Not a, "hello." Not even a, "...be right with you." I was the easiest, turn-key $200 sale in the place, as I knew what I wanted, picked up the two boxes of shoes and laid them on the counter. I even found time to straighten out your OOFOS display while I was at it. This purchase should have been a five-minute event, but instead I walked out empty-handed. Granted, I realize I was not the only customer in the store (even though a couple who arrived after me was being waited on). But really, learn to multitask. I'll never again make another purchase in your store. In the future, I'll just pick up my bibs and walk out. read more

I can't say enough good things about Fleet Feet! I'm fairly new to running and only get out a couple times a week. The staff made me feel really comfortable and were supportive of my humble goal of just staying active. I've been to stores where employees tend to talk down to you once they realize you are not training for The Boston Marathon. The employees here are super knowledgeable not just about feet and shoes, but body mechanics in general that can affect your feet. I loooved the first pair I picked out after they took measurements, recorded me running and let me test drive several pair outside. However a week in I realized they were not the shoe for me and Fleet Feet eagerly worked with me to find a replacement pair. Also, soooooo grateful that they carry several styles in a women's 12! They provided me with a wealth of information about how I ran after an in depth analysis (video and measurements of my feet). I will never buy shoes any place else. My feet are bad for multiple reasons. Genetics gave me high arches and Morton's toes on both feet. A lifetime of nursing and being on my feet 12 hours per day has taken it's toll. Gaining weight and aging just about finished me off. I've spent big bucks on the wrong shoes, wrong inserts and orthotics. I have been in tears while using the treadmill because my toes would burn, sting and go numb. I saw the Podiatrist who confirmed my arches are falling, I have arthritis in my feet, heel spurs, and in addition to arch support I also need metatarsal support. My foot size had increased 1&1/2 sizes with aging and I have needed wide shoes for years. I supinate when walking. I had just about throw in towel and decided that I'd live my golden years with painful therefore limited walking. My trainer recommended Fleet Feet because they have successfully helped other clients. The first pair of shoes felt good, but the toe box was too small and I had to return them. Ann, the manager spent 1&1/2 hours getting me in the right shoe and listening to me whine. I wore my new shoes home after wearing them in the store for at least one hour. I never took them off until 10pm last night. That's the longest time that I have worn shoes in 15 years. I put them on this morning around 9 and I'm still wearing them without pain! An added bonus was I also got the perfect sports bra for me. Since my new shoes cost less and we're also on sale, financially I came out ahead. I will definitely go back for another back up pair of shoes and some nice items that I saw for gifts for my husband...i.e. Garmin watch, hiking accessories and eventually new work out clothes for me.
