The food sucked badly .. chicken wings were dry I'm still hungry even tho I ate 20 wings . Flat bread was a disaster and a waiter was the slowest human being alive read more

The fairly new restaurant/bar isn't bad. It large, has outdoor seating, the waiters and hosts have always been kind and attentive. They have a really nice selection of beers, on tap and bottled. They also do a beer sampling (5 beers for 10 or 12 bucks). The waiters don't explain them to you, instead there is a laminate paper with under the beers with all details. The food is bar food. They have wings, nachos, chicken fingers, sandwiched etc. I got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries. I didn't like the bun. I don't know what kind of bread it was but it was a bit too hard for me (possibly could have been stale?), the fish was well seasoned, but dry, and between the hard bread and the dry fish I had to drench my sandwich with tatar sauce (thank god it was good). The fries were ok. I like my fries crunchy, these were a bit too soggy for my liking, but totally edible. Everyone else at my table seemed to really enjoy their food. BTW portions are huge! totally easy to split a plate with a friend. We also got 2 $10 (32oz) pitchers of margaritas. for 10 bucks they weren't bad, would I just randomly go and order a margarita here? No, I'll stick to beer. But since we were all drinking, we figured we'd be economical and just get the pitchers. The place isn't the most amazing on this planet, but for some bar food and beers with friends, it's definitely a nice alternative to Friday's and Applebee's. read more

love this place. nice energy. I don't even drink beer but I enjoyed 2 glasses in there Bartenders are very friendly. I can't recall the name of the beer but I had a delicious pumkin ale rimmed with brown sugar and it tasted just like pumpkin pie. I peeped the menu and looks like it had some good food specials which I would like to come back and try read more

I gave it three stars because the drinks are cheap and so are the appetizers. You can't go wrong there. The food is good for a chain and for the numbers that they see I was impressed that our order was, for the most part correct. Try and stay away from going on a Saturday night because it gets ridiculously packed and at a certain point it turns into a... I dunno what to call it... "We check ids at the door but still serve the kids menu. " typical north jersey crowd and I'd imagine if you're born and raised around here this is the place to avoid going to if you don't want to see your entire high school class 15 years later. read more

Loud, loud, loud, great atmosphere for a bar not so great for a restaurant. If the weather is nice, eat outside for lunch much nicer than eating inside. Food is better than most pubs, surprisingly they do seafood very well! They have great salads, burgers and done TexMex dishes too. Wish you could make a reservation for dinner because the wait can be a nightmare, especially if you are waiting with a hungry toddler. It's a great place to watch a game, plenty of large screen TVs, and there is plenty of eye candy for people watching as its right next to 24-hour fitness. Lots of great beers on tap and great full service bar. If your young this is a great local place to unwind and enjoy happy hour! read more

Your standard Bar that seems like it was removed from College avenue and dropped in Paramus. Fratty moves all around, this is the place I go to when I just want to drink and catch Sunday Night/Thursday Night/Any-night Football games. Or the go-to spot for Happy Hour with friends and coworkers who live around Bergen county. Wings here are great (10 or 20 wings w/different flavors), you can get sauce on the side of course. Nachos and fries portion sizes are huge, so know that going in. The real beauty in this place is the craft beer selection, they rotate out pretty frequently which is good and bad. Great that you can try a lot of new beers, but bad once you find your favorite in a few weeks it'll be gone. read more

Went to Miller's Ale House last night. The service was excellent, food arrived hot and as it was ordered. It was all delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient. We have been there several times and have never has an issue. Keep up the great work. Would highly recommend. read more

Yesterday I was near this Miller's Ale House when my car broke down. I had my 1 year old and 5 year old daughters with me. Tim from M.A.H. came out and asked if I needed help. I had called AAA, but my 5 year old really needed to use a bathroom. Tim offered to watch the car while I bring them inside to use the bathroom and warm up. He even asked if we wanted water when he saw us waiting for the tow truck a while later. I am so thankful for his kindness, it meant the world to us. read more

They really need to hire or have an extra bartender. Service was very slow. The mixed drinks here are poorly made but the beer selection is awesome. I'd rather come here than hooters for a game but I don't really know if that means anything. I never ate here so I don't know how the food is. If this place redid is logistics it would be a far better place to meet up with your friends. Edit. I got the maui maui and it's fantastic. I'm surprised by how good it is. My friend got the chicken nachos and he not only was impressed by the size of it but he was happy with the taste. My other friend got the big red and he is very pleased. Way better than hooters. I would give this 5 stars if the service was better. read more

This is the go to spot after a long day's work!! The staff is great, they always have drink specials and they server food really late. You can never go wrong with the appetizers, most of the are really yummy!! They also have my favorite beer on tap that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Fridays and Saturdays they have a DJ come in. The place can be separated to have two different ambiances - one for causal hanging out and the other for dancing. They also have the outside patio during the summer. read more

Second time here, and the food is consistently good. We had the fiesta nachos, and of course their famous zingers -- honey mustard flavored! The chicken is so fresh I swear they have them alive in the back. They have an odd seating system (They give you a card and you have to wait for it to pop up in a visual screen) but it's pretty fast wait if you go to the bar for a drink first. I love it, come on over for a drink. :) read more

Food was decent. My wife had a great chicken Cobb salad. My son had he burger sliders. I had the Big Red. Big Mistake was more like it. McDonald's bun with a soggy chicken breast in between barely covered in hot sauce and smothered in cheese. I wouldn't recommend that. Better than average beer selection and friendly wait staff. Place gets packed at dinner time. Overall an average restaurant with a huge bar in he back which I didn't visit. These places are a dime a dozen. read more

great place to Watch sports, great place to bring the boys to watch. ordered great seafood last time and always great bar food.

Service was alright, hosted a fight night, great environment, but the food simply sucks.

This place is great for a late night craving or just a hangout with friends, i would avoid friday and saturday night if you arent into loud music and crowded places. But the zinger mountain melt is probably the top choice in the menu as this in innovative fried food fusion is one of ita kind. Its basically cheese fries with wings in them. Fries dont get any better than this, i mean we have all had alot of fries and let me tell you these are the mother of cheese fries(only if they do it right). The dessert tho, cant lie the brownie with the hot fudge and ice cream takes it home and puts you on the couch. I mean this beast is the reason for diabetus but still you have to try this!!!! It really is a great hangout spot and an amazing place for a quiet early dinner read more

One two separate trips here I had instances that really put me off. While visiting family I called ahead to find out if they carried NFL Sunday ticket because my husband wanted to watch an out of state football game. I again asked if they would be airing the specific game and I was told yes. We show up a few mins before the game with my family of 5 and ask to be seated in the section airing the game and we were told they won't be airing the game there because the Jets game is on right now. WTF we called ahead and there were tons of empty tables in the designated jets section. Good thing the Applebee's in the same city was airing it. Another time I ordered a $3 beer off a special beer menu in addition to apps and entrees. Their "signature" boneless wings were awful. They were cold and lacked flavor. The texture of the chicken was just wrong. The Burger was mediocre. An hour later I get my check and I was charged $12 for an IPA craft beer I didn't order. I wish I was told they were substituting my beer for one 4 times the price. When I questioned it, I was told they ran out of the beer I ordered. No apologies, nothing. No manager came over to apologize or to offer to charge me for what I ordered or to take the beer off my check. That's a pretty bad screw up to just let go. Bad customer service on two separate accounts means I likely won't be back. On a positive note, their sweet potato fries were quite tasty and came with a nice sugary buttery dipping sauce. The hot fudge sundae I ate for dessert was pretty tasty too. read more

This is my go to place for everything. The food is great, lots of beers, 2 bars. The appetizers are good, zingers are the best things ever. You can find something on the menu for everyone. Plenty of parking, nice servers/staff and good food. I love this place on Sunday's during football season, it gets packed so get there early. read more

This placed is packed any given night of the week. Music is good and I believe mostly caters to the yuppie crowd. HDTV's seen all over tuned in to sports. As for the bar food, they have generous helpings of their nachos which are good. Am disappointed over the last time I ordered the Osso Bucco which I had ordered once before and found the meat dry with barely some gravy on it to help this time. Told the waitress about it and they did offer to change it but I would have to wait for them to cook another one which was fine and the manager came to apologize. Anyway, long story short my Osso Bucco came back in the same condition. The reason why I ordered that dish was because it was so nice, juicy and tender then that the gravy was just an added bonus but, it wasn't so that time. The waitress and manager were very friendly on that time though so, they deserve three star rating. read more

4pm on a weds and a 15+ minute wait for drinks. Wings are undercooked and the skin is rubbery. Not fried? The sauces are bland, had garlic parm and teriyaki and left half of them behind - all three of us did not enjoy them. For an "ale house" the beer selection sucks. Its all macro brews, nothing interesting at all. read more

I have been here several times. Nice place clean, good atmosphere. Food is generally consistent. Drinks are good, I recommend the Orange Crush. Great sports bar . You can't beat the price of the $10.00 pitchers . My friends and I had two, the sangria and the blue lit . The food was ok . We had wings and chicken nachos (very large). The food was ok. But although our server was very pleasant, they messed up every single portion of our order. From Forgetting drinks to bringing drinks we didn't order. From forgetting almost every ones side orders to running out of the special. Which is understandable but they told us that there was one lobster left and forgot to inform us that someone else got that one. So one of our party almost didn't get dinner with the rest of us. It was our second time here with a very similar experience. Doesn't look like we will be going for a third. The one good was that the manager gave us two meals of our seven for free to make Up for the inconvenience. read more

I come here after working at the gym next door. I usually have grilled chicken salad which is really good. I've tried the grilled zingers which were quite tasty. Came here on a Tuesday afternoon after driving by this place multiple times. Nice selection of beers and food with a sports bar atmosphere. ton of tv's located all around. Since it was early in the afternoon the place had ample seating available but we chose to sit at the bar. We had several craft beers including one of their flight selections. We also shared a shrimp platter which was pretty good. Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable when we asked for her recommendations. The place is pretty huge with a section doubling as more of a "club" area in the evenings. Would definitely come back. read more

As beer-lovers, my husband and I have avoided going to Miller's for a long time, mostly because the beer menu they had posted online was less than impressive and they didn't have many vegetarian options. We also have some great smaller beer bars in the area. We recently succumbed and tried it out over the holiday break and were very disappointed. From disinterested employees to a weak beer menu, we probably will not revisit Miller's. Our experience started out poorly when we walked in and we're ignored by the hostess for a few minutes (no one was in front of us). She then took our info and boredly told us that it would be a few minutes wait. There were many empty tables, so I'm not sure what the hold up was, but we weren't in a rush so we waited and watched the hostess watch one of the many tvs along the wall. Finally we were seated, and although the experience picked up slightly from there, it still left a lot to be desired. The beer menu is displayed on tvs above the bar. There are slides that change every few seconds, so you better be a quick reader to catch the beers available. There is no description, so you also need to know your beers as well. The food wasn't bad and neither was the service once we got past a half dead hostess; however, if you're looking for a great beer selection, try elsewhere. read more

I love going to Millers Ale House! The place is clean and well kept, no sticky floors or bar tops. There is enough seating without having to wait, and if you happen to wait a short time there's ample bench space to sit. The staff is very friendly from the minute you walk in the door. The wait staff and bartenders are attentive and accommodating and always do their best to have a satisfied customer. There's a vast variety of beers on tap and they are so fresh and crisp they taste better than bottled beer! The food is wonderful and the kitchen will modify any meal without issue. Shoutout to the bartenders who keep your glass full. The prices are very reasonable even with the current inflation, much cheaper than any local bar in this area. The managers come to the tables to check in on how their customers are enjoying their meal. I highly recommend Millers Ale House and I plan to return soon! read more

I have never heard my husband rave more about a hamburger than After eating at Miller Ale House in Paramus! It must be good becauseHe kept saying how yummy it was for days afterwards read more

Decent food and very good service...my kinda casual outing. They have an outdoor area (overlooking the parking lot) but it's still nice. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, so that's a plus for families, too. It reminds me of Houlihans, but more modern with updated food and drink options. It's casual dining, so expect that and you will be happy. Typical fare such as nachos, fajitas, burgers, etc. The servers were always super nice and the ambience is loud, with tvs, music, etc. Def a good, affordable option for locals or people in the Paramus area. read more

The food is terribly disappointing. Their "zinger" chicken tenders were dry, the burger unremarkable, the salad was loaded with cheese and ingredients less than fresh, and the fish tacos smelled very fishy and were completely bland and salty. Even the fries were bad. I have never been this disappointed with EVERYTHING we ordered. There were also fruit flies circling our table the entire time. Not even sure how this many things can be bad. I only give it one star because the bar atmosphere is good. Extremely unhappy and will not be eating here again. read more

This place was pretty inexpensive and a good time but you get what you pay for. $10 pitchers of mixed drinks sounded like a good deal but our Long Island Iced Tea pitcher came out blue... Miller's Ale House is one of the best sports bars around. It's a huge lot with a ton of tvs in every room. In the outer room where we ate there is a fireplace. It's just so much fun! I went with my mom on the Sunday of the Football Hall of Fame weekend. There were two TVs right in sight of my table. On one there was the Yankees- Red Sox game and the other was the Hall of Fame game. I was in heaven. We ordered the build your own burgers. They both came out perfect. Instead of having french fries with your meal you can pick which side that you'd like. I had the mashed potatoes; they were AMAZING. My mom ordered the broccoli as her side and it came out the perfect shade of bright green and there was no butter or oil on it; just perfect! Another thing that made this place heaven like was that it served our favorite beers. My mom and I both like PBR, and I like Imperial (a Costa Rican beer) so we ordered one of each. Both are so hard to find out at restaurants so this made an amazing visit so much better. Both PBR and Imperial are part of their all day -- every day specials. They have a ton of drink specials and it's like an all day happy hour. read more

Food was good, not fantastic. Service was super slow. Went on a Sunday night at 8pm, plenty of empty tables yet we waited over 10 mins for a waiter. My first experience a Miller's was amazing. Our server was friendly, charismatic and made sure we had everything we asked for. Our drinks were great and the food was even better! After having received poor service at the main entrance bar about 3 months ago, I decided to give this place another try. I was once again disappointed. I was there on a Sunday around 3 pm. the bar was very slow at that moment. I waited, and waited and waited only to be told by the same barmaid I had the similar incident with 3 months, " I'll be right with you "? I was quite annoyed for I had informed management on poor service 3 months ago. I received an empty apology back then and I don't think this barmaid was ever addressed on how to attend the bar and how to receive their customers. Again, THE PLACE WAS SLOW when I got there. I got up and left. Upon leaving, I decided to call and speak to a supervisor by the name John to share by poor experience once again. I don't think I'll be going back. The food is mediocre and the service at the bar is extremely poor. read more
