Our first and last time visit 2 weeks ago on a Friday night with my husband. We were barely greeted with a hello. Our server finally comes up to us after waiting 10 minutes and takes our drink order. Then another server asks us for our order. We said someone else already came by and she was not happy. The general attitude of the staff is not welcoming compared to places like Chili's and others. Food was average at best and overpriced. read more

Great place to watch sports. TVs everywhere. The moz sticks were amazing. Would've given it 5 stars but my friend's Buffalo Wings was not spicy at all. read more

Service is not all that great, food is awesome and they have a huge variety if draft. The eliminated the lemon pepper chicken wings from the menu awww, overall the place is nice and the ambient cool. read more

the food is average. on par with TGIF, Applebee's, local diners, etc it is SO loud in there. i get it, loud music is important but does it have to be that loud? i'm not in a nightclub or anything. i couldn't hear my friend sitting across from me and i had to yell. read more

I ordered a western sirloin and it was perfectly cooked. The food tasted amazing. I had Tara C. As my server, excellent service. Prices are very affordable. I would definitely come back read more

Turns into a club some nights so it gets loud as hell. Wait staff are great Management is terrible and very rude Don't recommend

I try going for about 3 weeks straight, they always have no sitting capacity but meanwhile they have the tents open with tables and chairs ,but for some reason you can't sit there. I was with my pregnant wife and 4month old puppy trying to sit any where. You can't even make reservations. The staff acted like they was doing you a favor putting you on a waiting list for 45mins. The food isn't that good my wife was just craving wings and since we had a puppy it just seem ideal to go there. Won't recommend anyone to go there over rated read more

huge place with outdoor seating food is average, almost applebees beta the beer selection is great but don't come for the food read more

Brian is the BEST bartender and super attentive. He seems to know many guests at the bar as regulars and what they normally drink. Nothing but positive comments!!! On the other hand, I have not been to this millers location in a few years. I came to have some early drinks and lunch around 12. The 2 female hosts, did not even acknowledge or greet us when we entered. They continued with their conversation. They proceeded to ignore us and not ask us if we wanted a table or to join the bar. The blonde headed girl was very trashy looking and very very nasty with her fake smiles and looks. Her skin on her stomach was showing and I thought that was very unattractive. Other than that, Miller's ale house for the win :) read more

Decent place for lunch. There specials are unbelievably inexpensive yet good. I'm not a fan of tv sets all over while I eat, but this is basically a sports bar. Cosy wooden booths make it a more interesting venue. Blackened salmon, fish tacos and meatloaf special all proved tasty and moist. I was disappointed that our waiter, Chris, gave us the bill without even inquiring if we wanted coffee or dessert. His loss, the bill and tip would have been more. read more

Came in with a group of friends for your Tuesday prime rib special. The meat was generous and tender at a great price The real difference maker was the service. Though it was relatively busy, our server, Shauna was both pleasant and attentive. Had a great knowledge of beers on tap, we wound up staying much longer than expected due to the hospitality. There are plenty of bar and restaurant options in the area.....the beer selection and staff puts you ahead of the rest. Great experience will be back in the near future. read more

Beer selection is great and the bartenders have always been nice and attentive. Ask to try a beer or two and depending on how busy it is they will keep the samples coming for as long as you want. The food is just OK and pretty typical for an ale house. If you're looking for a good deal, go on Tuesday for the discounted Zingers. Last time I was there I tried a sweet sauce and I was surprised as the bartender was able to make some great pairings with the sauce and beers they had on tap. In the end, I was only charged for the 1 beer I actually ordered which equaled a much bigger tip. I'll be back again. read more

This is the third time I've given this local place place a try. I'm not a fan. I know this is a sports bar, but yikes! Very loud, service was very slow, and I had just about the worst fish tacos ever. No flavor or seasoning, no coating, made with ..cheese..a cardinal sin, on wilty tortillas. Yuck. They screwed up our drink order as well..not knowing who ordered what. The place was very crowded, so I'm sure they won't miss me too much. read more

I've never absolutely insulted in my entire life. My family and I decided to come here to eat after a fundraising event. Arriving to Millers we anticipated a wait bc it was a Saturday night, there was a fight and we had a party of 15. My family was there before I arrived and they were waiting for 10 mins already. I asked the hostess how long for the wait bc we had our younger cousins there who were very hungry. The hostess said, "since your party is so big we're waiting for another table to open so you will be sitting directly across from each other. We have one table open and the other table just paid their tab so we're waiting for them to get up." I told her okay cool, can you just sit my little cousins when possible bc they are hungry it's fine if we don't sit with them there's only 8 of them. 25 minutes pass and we were still not seated. I asked the hostess how much longer bc if the wait was too long we would leave, she said hold on let me go check. When she came back there was a man with her whom I'm assuming is a manager, he than proceeded to tell me the table decided to reopen their tab so they were not able to seat us, but they're cleaning booths where we can sit behind each other in and it would take a couple minutes. I told him that's fine can you just seat my little cousins when possible bc they are hungry. He said 10 minutes and we'd be seated. 40 minutes pass and we were still not seated AND I watched a party of 8-10 people be seated before us. At this point I'm fed up and feel terrible for my younger cousins. I go to the bar area where some of my cousins and sister were to tell them to close their tab and we should just go elsewhere. As I say that, my cousins fiancé is getting lifted by the bouncer bc he told the manager that they should've told us how long the wait was, rather than giving us the run around, and at that point he was completely man handled and pushed through the door. This bouncer started cursing at me and my entire family. This was absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable. I'm 5' vs this bouncer was 6'something, how am I a threat along with my family(who are just as short) when we've done nothing but be absolutely respectful and patient in this establishment. The hostess called the cops on us bc we wouldn't leave the premises and were disruptive. Come to find out my younger cousin waiting by the hostess whom I'm assuming did not realize he was with our party told a waitress, "skip over them they're being bitches". Another bouncer comes out of nowhere and starts pointing to my sister saying she's running away when she was simply walking to the car to go home and 6 cops go after her and start questioning her. This is by far the worst Miller Ale House ever. They're disrespectful and disorganized. My family was waiting patiently the entire time and for our patience we get assaulted by a bouncer with anger issues. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Came here with 9 friends- the waitress forgot our order not once but THREE TIMES (and all we ordered was a sprite, slice of ice cream cake, and french fries). THEN when we where ready to pay, she charged the wrong amounts when only needing to split the check on two cards (we told her TWICE and she still got it wrong). She gave us back the check with all of the cash after charging our cards só we assumed (like any normal person would) that that was her tip but since she was terrible we only left a tip worth of 20% (she didnt even deserve that much). HOWEVER, as soon as we where in the parking lot leaving, an entire crew of 5 people came running out infront of our veichle accusing us of leaving without paying our bill. We were a group of 4 girls and their crew came towards us as if THEY WERE GOING TO JUMP US. She had the audacity to give us the wrong amount left to pay só we ended up giving her a much largar tip than she deserved. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. Next time try hiring competent staff. read more

Been to Miller's many times and you know what you are getting. Food here is a step up from an average Chili's/Friday's type of place but it certainly isn't all fresh. My wife likes the Big Red sandwich and the nachos are always good. Not a bad place for a Friday evening but can get super crowded. read more

Went to millers for my friends 21st birthday... they have an amazing pineapple mango mojito. However, their wings are AWFUL. Apples has better wings. On a side note the our waiter forgot to place my order so I never received my food. I was a bit annoyed with it but he was really sweet and gave me my nachos for free. Just go for DRINKS not FOOD. read more

My daughter, a high school senior, has been raving about this place for the past year. We finally went as a family for Mother's Day and what a great experience! The fried calamari is the best I've had in years (crispy and not at all greasy)! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. It's not a steak house, but the quality and portions are superior to TGIFridays / Applebees / Ruby Tuesdays. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Mario was our server last night and was terrific! How do I know? Because I remembered his name this morning thinking about the great night we had! read more

Really craving some wings, burger and beer, I wandered into Miller's. Boy was I disappointed. Just to clarify, it has nothing to do with the service. The staff was spot on. They regularly checked in and stayed on top of their job. The beer selection was standard and the food was sub-par. Buffalo shrimp...skip it! Soggy and luke warm. Turkey burger was plain. No lettuce, tomato, onion, or even mayo! Great for locals who want to get together to watch a game with wings and beer. Honestly, par for the course of other places I have visited along Rt. 4. Disappointing. read more

Never coming here again i always come here to watch UFC events (1 ppv a month) and i come with a group of 3-6 guys all the time. The bill always surpasses $200 Lately we haven't been too happy with the service or food but we were willing to put all that aside because we actually like the place But what finally ruined it for us was they stopped showing UFC prelims in the main area wtf? You can ONLY watch it from the 2nd bar they have since its enclosed. Why? The manager said "UFC is too violent". He said at 8pm there are still minors here with the family (mind you they don't have a problem showing hockey games where they beat the shit out of each other). Soooo showing UFC is "bad" because minors are in the building? ITS A FUCKIN SPORTS BAR ARE U FUCKIN KIDDING ME? Its a stupid chain restaurant that can't decide wether or not to be a REAL sports bar. Here's the funny part While inside the bar area (you can only watch UFC prelims and ppv) they have 3 arcade games where KIDS are playing nevermind that its past 10pm *do you know where your children are* Oh yea....we were there from 8-10 watching the prelims and thier "bouncer guy" comes check our ID's to see if we are of legal age to drink booze. R u fuckin kidding me? Our table ranges from age 32-45 They put these stupid girly paper bracelets on our wrist because "its past 10pm and we are in the bar area". We complained to the manager about this stupid rule (not showing ufc prelims in all of the areas) he said its coming from corporate. Okay. You just lost several customers for life. Im sure more will follow. Oh yea they have.....HAD a nice patio outside but Paramus is getting on thier ass (too many complaints) so thier "heated outdoor patio" cannot be used in the fall/winter season. Miller Ale will fail and won't last long. Good riddance read more

Unimpressive beer selection for a place labelling itself "ale house". Sub-par food even for its genre. Rather go to Fridays or Applebees. Friendly atmosphere at least, fine if all you want is football and a Bud read more

the food is good but the staff looks at black people like we are going to rob the place. I just want to have a mug in peace with my boyfriend. Watching the whole time, circling our table. it made us feel very uncomfortable. The server barely wanted to greet us. They blatantly ignored us and i will never go there again. I got right up from my table and left which was easy since the serve never came back anyway read more

The food at this place is decent for a sports bar restaurant. It gets very crowded and loud at night even sometimes during the week in one half of the restaurant- it basically turns into a towny bar. You can get a table on that side but I wouldn't if you don't want to scream to talk to the person next to you (even then they will probably not have heard you). I have been a few times and one of those time I was with a group of friends and we had all been there for about an hour, were 2 rounds deep with drinks and ordered food, when a nasty hostess came over to the table and accused us of seating ourselves when she was the one that had walked me over to the table! She wouldn't believe us that we had been there even with a running tab and eventually stormed off. We got a manager who explained to us she got us confused with the table behind us but that's no excuse; she should have apologized and/or we should have been comped something or offered a free app-SOMEthing! Even the manger seemed like he was just apologizing to apologize, it was not sincere. For a place where there is almost always a wait, I don't know that is worth it unless you are going early when its slower and the staff knows what they are doing (and before the townies have taken over). read more

After a bunch of forty something ol timers decided to play some touch football at the local Paramus high school field, we were famished! We knew it was going to be a busy Sunday afternoon and expected a long wait! We dreaded it because we were tired and sore and simply needed to sit down, eat and drink ASAP! We walked in and chuckled to the manager, table for 11 please! The line was pretty long at the hostess stand, but a mere 5 minutes later, we were sat in front of a million large screens with the 4pm games on! Ordered quickly, served quicky with friendly service! All the waiters had football jerseys on an the place wa packed! Sliders, wings, nachos, burgers and fries were all good and priced right! Just what we needed and it couldn't have been better! This was my first time at a Miller Ale house, certainly won't be the last! Great experience! read more

Stopped by yesterday to check out Miller's Ale House and was incredibly disappointed. I'm giving it 2 stars because the place is clean, has a good beer list and plenty of tv's. My buddy and I sat at the bar and ordered guac and chips. the chips were warm, which was a nice touch, but the guac tasted processed and was pretty inedible. The bartender that served us should not be in a customer facing position. She never smiled, didn't listen and was generally unpleasant. I asked her if the Zingers (chicken strips) were the house specialty and she responded with "I don't know. I don't eat meat." I had planned on having a few beers before heading home (I wasn't driving), but left after 1. read more

This is the go to place nowadays in Bergen County. Good food and drink specials. Very nice wait and hostess staff. Managers always willing to work with groups and sports fans that come to not only watch a game but want to "hear" it too. read more

Stopped in for lunch, hostess was busy working on the signs and didn't seem to notice, or care I was there. Grabbed a seat at the bar and waited for the lone bartender to get to me. I'm guessing the lunch rush was winding down because there were more than a few dirty dishes spread out in various spots along the bar. The bartender got to me as quickly as she could and took my order, got my drink asap. The turkey burger came out fairly quick and exactly as ordered. Overall the food was good nothing super exciting, after all how exciting can a turkey burger be, but certainly nothing wrong. The highlight of my visit was the bartender Agata she was extremely nice friendly, funny without being too overbearing but most importantly took care of the entire bar in a fast and professional manner. If you're lucky to get her as your server chat her up she will make your visit a good one. read more

Came here for lunch, place wasn't crowded but the parking lot was (could all of those people be at the gym?!). Same set up as the other one I had been to, sat at the bar, place was dead. Service was spot on, never went a minute or two without an empty beer. Boneless wings were pretty much the same way I had them the last time, no problems there. I will say that I steered away from the fish and chips after my last experience. Plus I didn't know what was in store for dinner later on! read more

disappointed, disappointed, disappointed... that's how I felt walking out of Miller's. I was really very excited to finally get over there and check it out - a sports bar in Bergen county with lots of bar space and TV's for all the games??? sweet!!!!!!!! well, it was huge, and lots of TVs too - but the food downright sucked. Granted I didn't have the Porterhouse, try the lobster tails or order the Ossubucco (lol) but who gets that at a sports bar? Be it a pub, sports bar, ale house, or whatever you what to call yourself - you really need to do one thing right -WINGS. and the wings here underperformed horribly. first off - there is no reason at all that anyplace should be charging $10.99 for 10 wings - over a buck a wing? get real. Now the price would be much less offensive if the wings were good, or at least decent, but these were terrible. First off - they are breaded, gross. I guess there are those out there that enjoy breaded buffalo wings (ala hooters) I myself, am not one of them. However these wings were soggy and mushy. They reminded me of wings you nuke at home out of a box. Worse than the wings you would get at a diner or chain pizza joint. just shitty wings. The fact that they were mushy/ soggy yet were piping hot (even later on in the meal they remained plasma hot) leads me to believe these guys nuke them in the microwave. ugh - get your stuff together Miller's! Next up the chicken nachos. Waitress mentioned this was a large app and it was. Large and bland. Here is the breakdown. Empty 2 bags of store bought quality tortilla chips on a platter with some chopped tomatoes, lettuce and jalapenos. Somewhere in the middle dump tasteless, cold pulled chicken and generic shredded yellow cheese. Add some sour cream on the side and bam - you got yourself some really subpar and extremely bland chicken nachos that could easily be replicated at home, and would probably taste a hell of a lot better too. Here was a perfect example of quantity over quality (none). Not sure why I was expecting better than low end chain restaurant food, but I was. Also for a place calling themselves an "ale house" the beer options were uninspiring and pedestrian. Disappointed really perfectly sums up Miller's - on all counts. read more

I have come here a few times and usually had a pretty good time but last night my friends and I went and not only was the waitress extremely slow management also cut off (after 3 drinks)and monitored who was drinking what, even when we had one person that was the DD!!! They said there had been a brawl the weekend before. Well that's not our fault! No one at our table would ever act like that. Then they told us if we wanted to stay and continue drinking that we needed to order food! Excuse me but I thought it was a bar? After last night I definitely will not be coming back. read more

Miller's is huge, with lots of bar stools, high top tables and booths. There are TVs lining the walls so you can catch your favorite sports team while you grab a bite and a drink. Atmosphere and ambiance are fine, and there is an outdoor seating area that would be nice to sit in during the spring and summer. The food and drinks weren't great on a recent visit though. Our flatbread pizza was lukewarm and reminded us of a frozen pizza from a grocery store. I ordered a cocktail from their drink menu, that was supposed to be a rum fruit punch - when it arrived, it was simply rum and lime juice. I'd stick with bar basics and beer next time. read more

Had a very bad experience here, came here with my friends so they could drink I was the designated driver and remained sober my friends had a 2 rounds of shots and some drinks and then we're told that if they did not order food they would be cut off. I tried to explain that I was the designated driver and would be personally taking care of these people but they said it was out of their hands. My friends decided that they had enough and did not want to be forced to order food so that they can drink. Especially because none of them were visually intoxicated. Unfortunately they lost business because of such. You are also not allowed to order a round of shots for your friends everyone has to order their own shot you as one person cannot order multiple even if you explain they are for the other people at the table. read more

I'm here right now. I sat here for 15 minutes in the booth waiting for the rest of my party and no one came by. Everyone came and we sat for 10 minutes before we asked the hostess to get someone. I ordered the turkey soup after i was told it was a broth ( I have to avoid flour) and it was a thick soup that probably had a flour thickener in it. They brought out my husband's fajitas and toppings 10 minutes before the fajitas so they got cold. My mother's food was ice cold so she sent it back. My dads sandwich had mushrooms on it even though its an add on item and he said no mushrooms, I'm allergic to them. My moms food came back and it was still cold so it was sent back again. My father's sandwich just came back and it had mushrooms on it again!! So everyone is at different stages of eating. Up until now, we have no gotten one "I'm sorry. " I got the fish tacos and I don't like them but that's not the restaurants fault. BTW... everyone is finished eating and my father is still waiting for his sandwich. Update: The manager brought the sandwich and said he made it himself. He apologized and gave us a $20 gift card to use and took the sandwich off the bill. My father checked again to make sure there were no mushrooms and found out it was a cheese steak instead of a chicken cheese steak. Oh well, at least he finally has something to eat!!! read more
