Ok, so my first time at Miller's I was super thrilled and loved the place. They received 5 stars. I went back with a friend last night for dinner/drinks and was not pleased at all. I ordered the Zinger meltdown, as did my friend and yeah, it was good. Loaded cheese fries with their signature zingers on top. Nothing special but I was in the mood for "bar food". I had a New Castle and 3 Heinekens. My friend had 4 Honey Jack and Cokes. Our server was great, stayed on top of our drinks but didn't hover. Here's my problem, and the reason it goes to 3 stars. 1) For two people, with the little listed above, our bill was $81. Seriously?? Look, I don't care if that makes me sound cheap. I think that's absurd for the little amount we ordered. I could have had the exact same order at my local bar for HALF the price. 2) I'd say 90-95% of their menu comes in at OVER 600 calories. They don't list their NI so I had to Google it and it's insane. All the fish/pasta/chicken plates are at 1000 calories and up. The zinger meltdown? 2490. Two thousand, four hundred and ninety calories. Let that sink in. I've never said this about ANY place before, but I will NEVER eat at Miller's again. I may go in for A beer, but that's it. read more

I went here about 5 times already, 4 times before it got really packed and once day before thanksgiving which was ridiculously packed! Food is pretty good I love the naked wings and the side dishes. I love to drink so this place is good for drinks - BEER mostly. I love how everything is cheap compared to NYC prices which I am used to seeing. However, don't go here on days such as sunday night football or day before thanksgiving. Worst shit ever...especially because I have no patience to wait more than 30 minutes for A drink. I don't know why my jager bombs are already mixed though?! its a bomb...I should be dropping my shot of jager into my glass of red bull! oh yeah....obnoxious crowd. I don't want to see half of my graduating class here either but what do you expect in a town like Paramus with literally 2 bars. read more

I've been coming to this place for about two years now. It's totez amazeballs. #2000sTweensLingo #SueMe -Excellent pricing and specials. -Great food (try the lobster soup thingy in the bread bowl) -Lovely atmosphere -Friendly atmosphere -Security in later hours. There are more wonderful attributes to this joint, but I don't wanna spoil all the fun for you. Go on a Thursday night and you'll enjoy yourself. Heck, ANY night for that matter. Or afternoon. Okay, just GOOOOOO. Lol. read more

On Friday and Saturday nights this place is a meat market. After making one circle around both bars I broke into a sweat. Not because the place is huge but because there are so many people standing around and sitting at tables. You really shouldn't try coming here on either of those nights unless you have a guaranteed seat at a table or at the bar. Otherwise you'll be shedding clothes and losing your patience in no time. Yes, the drink prices are great and that's why so many people visit on the weekends. And that's also why there are at least half a dozen security personnel split between both bar and entrance areas. Parking isn't too much of an issue, unless it's raining and you didn't bring an umbrella. I strongly suggest you visit here earlier in the week for a more enjoyable experience. I know I will... read more

Holy unorganized mess batman! Came here with our softball team after a game, walked in the door and there was no one at the host desk for a good 5 minutes even people were clearly waiting there for someone to help them (not only myself). Finally two hostess' and two managers came to help people but they all still stood around and stared at each other. When I asked for a table it's like I just asked them a complex math problem or something. So we finally got a table outside on the deck. I do realize it was a little busy because there was playoff basketball, hockey, and the subway series on but man was this place understaffed. We sat around for a good almost 10 minutes before a waiter came by and asked us if we had been helped yet, and then disappeared. Another waiter came up a couple minutes later and finally took our drink orders. All in all it was just not a good experience, I've been here a couple times before and had much better service. In a highly competitive area they really need to step up their game. Granted this is the only true sports bar in the area it could be better. read more

This place has very chilled out vibes and the go to place for my friends and I since it's a midpoint from Where we all live. We always have a great time and the staff is very friendly. Boneless wings are great and very tender. My favorite is the BBQ but my friends swear by the sweet chili wings. The only thing is if you sit at a table you are sometimes forgotten. read more

This place is super crowded. I have gone in 2 times and had more than an hour wait. The first time was almost 2 hours so we left and the second closer to only an hour so we waited. We were able to squeeze into the bar and get a drink while we waited. After a super long wait that were spent standing in a corner we got our table. The food was ok but nothing special. Just about the same quality as Houlihans. Not worth the wait. read more

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULES !!!! At the end of our meal my waiterss assumed the 3 dollars on the table was her tip and threw it in my face and said ' keep it, you need it more then I do!' And stormed away I was SHOCKED I spoke to mark one if the managers and he did not do ANYTHING to fix the situation he wouldn't refund my money he would not ask the waitress to apologize to me he would not let me speak to the owner and he wouldn't even apologize to me!! The whole staff needs to relax the bouncers think there C.I.A and the waiters and managers can't separate personal and business not to mention the food is frozen dinner quality. I'm never going back and they could care less read more

So I've been here a hundred times and I've never written a review. I don't really know why because this is my go to local sports bar. I guess it's just difficult for me to put a rating on it. I don't love coming here because of the huge crowds, especially on the weekends, loud music and ok food but I do love coming here to watch games, chill with friends, and enjoy a good beer. They have a great selection of beers on tap, including local beers and you can't find a lot of places in Paramus that do that. The place itself is also huge! Even though it gets really full and busy on the weekends, you aren't quite packed in like a sardine. It's usually not difficult to get a drink at the bar. This is a great place to meet up with some friends and have a relaxed night with a few drinks and decent food. read more

Ate here 3 times so I think it's time to write something. It's a cool sports bar. Large space, lots of flatscreens, even a fireplace. Attentive service and they can get busy. Decent beer selection and definitely good food. I stopped in twice and got takeout once (the only complaint I have is the food got soggy by the time it got home). I really like their burgers and I REALLY like their onion rings. The fish and chips were ok, although they were slightly salty for my taste. Their philly cheese steak is good too. Cool place to stop in, have some beers and good food and watch a game or 2. Parking can be tough since theres a big gym next door as well as other stores in the area, but I think they have valet on the weekends. read more

How have I not been here before? Great atmosphere, good drinks and while I didn't eat, the menu looked like there were some great bar food choices. Parking lot is huge and it's a good place to stop in for a drink or snack after some serious outlet shopping at the outlet next door. read more

Starting to go down hill -- fast. Been here a few times in recent months and today was just bad. Had a pitcher of the worst mojitos I have ever tasted in my life. Sent it back and was told by manager and waiter that "the bartender said this is how they make it here". Oh you mean really sh.tty? Then messed up our potato side dish order. And our steak came out raw. Had to have the meal essentially recooked from scratch. Oh and then there was lack of utensils for all. And no salt on the table to flavor the relatively bland meat. The steak came out again. It was literally half hockey puck well done on one side and the other half cooked medium. How did they accomplish that? Ordered the ice cream cake dessert which was fine. After all of the above issues no comp on bill. Full charges for everything including dessert. I had to ask for it. I guess it is a game to make the patron do the work. This place is off my list for a long time to come if not permanently. read more

There seems to be a lot of people that rag on this place, personally I think it's pretty cool spot. First time coming here, my friend tells me that "you'll always run into someone you know at Miller's". That was exactly the case as I bumped into to an old friend I hadn't seen in years. We joined her and a friend at their table, which was great as this place gets crazy packed! They have a good selection of beers and $10 pitchers that will get the job done (if you've pre-gamed correctly). I was a little hungry and their renowned zingers drew me. However, 40 minutes later and they still weren't here! My friend asks the waiter about em and apparently he had forgotten to submit the order. He eventually brings them out (free of charge) and the manager came by to apologize and hand me a coupon for free zingers. I thought that was a cool gesture, one that is exhibited by people who know how to run a fine establishment. read more

I've been here twice so far; Sundays for football of course. There are TONS of tvs to choose from and they show all different games. It's best if you get there early to get a good spot because it fills up pretty fast. The bar is nice and there is plenty of space. The service is pretty decent. They are fast, nice, and helpful. The menu has all kinds of things to choose from. The Zingers(which are something of a boneless wing) are delicious and come in all kinds of favors. Those are a must have. There are tons of beer on draft as well. I can't wait to go back here next Sunday. read more

I don't understand the hype around this place. I waited 30 minutes for seating (which I never do) only to be disappointed. The food is gross and the drinks are watered down. Not a big deal as I'm not a raging alcoholic, but even their specialty cocktails just tasted funky. On the bright side, their wings are their only hope though I'd still rather go to Hooters. read more

my gps had me lost and i ended up at dunk n donuts but i called and the hostess helped me get to the place... the place is a awesome sports bar, yesterday i went for lunch, had a cool waitress named karina... i chose booth seating at the restaurant side just to try their fish and chips and wings. the fish was fried with a awesome batter, fries weren't puny, and the wings you had a choice of hpw it was made and the sauces you wanted your wings in......their were a pretty good amount of people their on a friday lunch so i can only imagine on a game day! This place here serves an "effing mean a**"great burger. Bistro Burger cooked up medium rare with onion rings on top; the fries could use some work though. This is pretty much the only sports bar I can find around in B-county. Beers on tap galore. Come one come all! There are plenty of space inside and get ready to be mesmerized by the flat screens around you. I shall be back. Go Eaaaaaaaaaaaagles. I kid. I kid. *Route 4 East traffic on a Sat. Came here today with a friend and had a really good time. We actually got there and found out that today was their grand opening. I've never been to any of their other locations before, but after coming here I would definitely come again. I always enjoy a place with a great selection of beers on draft or bottled, and it didn't disappoint, (granted it is an ale house so if they didn't have a good selection of beer it'd be kinda sad) but the relatively cheap prices for their craft beers. Friend and I came here for a late night snack and drink, and ordered the loaded fries and fried calamari, and it was pretty good, I kinda wish they had done a little more with the fries, but the calamari was pretty good. It was different from the calamari that I usually have, but I like they way they spun it. some sweet chili sauce as opposed to your usual marinara sauce. Place was loaded with TV's, it was kind of ridiculous actually (in a good way). And they have an outdoor patio which also has TV's outside so you're not missing any of the action. But I think the really cool part is that they have 2 bars, one bar which is located inside, and another semi outdoor bar/area that has open windows which is great for a nice summer evening. Even a fireplace! All in all really enjoyed this place. The service was great and the staff was really friendly and interactive. Hopefully they keep it up! I would definitely come back here in the future, and would recommend this place to anyone just looking for a good place to have a beer, watch a game with some friends or just hang out on a late night. read more

Went here Saturday evening for a party of 6. Let's start with the good I managed to find in this establishment. The booths are very spacious and comfy. The appetizers were very good and quite filling and I love the large soda's. OK that about sums up the good. Now unto the why this place was such a bad experience. Lets start with our waiter. Although capable not very personable. My husband ordered a fajita entrée and I wanted a salad with my appetizer. I stated instead of a side salad just up charge me for his salad. The waiter told me salads do not come with the meals. I understand but my husband could get one with an up charge with his entrée as stated on the menu. Once the food came out 2 of our parties food was inedible. My girlfriend ordered a Bistro Burger medium rare. It came out dry and like a puck. Her son ordered the ribs and again, very dry and way overcooked, I sampled the rib and it didn't even taste like meat, more of a McRib. Neither of them touched their food. When the waiter came my girlfriend expressed her dislike and explained what was wrong with her meal. The waiter shrugged and walked away. He brought our checks and that was it. Instead of an up charge for the salad he charged us for a side salad. As for the 2 uneaten dinners.. No apology, no offer of can we cook you something else, nothing was offered to make sure the customer walks away happy. In this day and age of huge competition from surrounding restaurants I am quite surprised customer satisfaction is not a top priority. read more

I've been here twice now and feel like there is just nothing impressive about this place. First time was on a Saturday night - it was a packed bar where you could hardly order a drink. I was told this place has a great beer selection, but found that there was really nothing unique about it. I ordered a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, and they were out. I wound up ordering a cocktail instead. Second time was with my family for dinner. It was one of the first warmer days, so their patio was open with the heaters on. It was still too cold for me, so we sat inside. Even though we were sitting inside, we might as well have just sat outside. They keep all the doors wide open, so it was drafty and I was cold during the whole meal. I didn't ask to move because the whole place was cold. I had the calamari as an appetizer and Mahi Mahi as an entree. The calamari was OK. Had a sweet thai sauce on it, wasn't rubbery - but tasted mostly like "fried", not calamari. The Mahi Mahi was OK. I had green beans on the side which were also OK. Overall, I never had anything here that was better than OK. Not sure I'll be back again. read more

Fun sports bar. Cool crowd. Mix of some families, but lots of folks in their 30s. I came once before, but never wrote a review. After a gals day of shopping, we randomly decided to eat dinner here. It was a busy sports night - ALCS, game 6 with Sox possibly clinching, plus Devils-Rangers game - so it was crowded, even at 6:30. Hostess said about a half hour wait, but we were seated in 15 minutes. Hooray! The place is huge - seriously!!! And there is ample indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is heated in the cool weather, so makes it easy to sit out there when it's chilly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but not annoying. I ordered a hard cider, she said they also had Red's Apple Ale, and brought me a small glass to try it before ordering it - pretty cool of her. Food is Applebee's-ish, but more sport-bar-ish -- if you can make any sense of my bizarre description, then great!! If, not, then check out their menu online. lol. Ordered the spinach dip -- yummy, not too heavy or too light -- and tons of thin, but strong nachos that came with it. Very good. I ordered the chicken philly and my gf ordered the make-your-own-burger. We both liked our food. Not bad if you want to chill in a sports bar with cool crowd and decent food and service. read more

"Hello welcome to "INSERT BAR NAME HERE" my name is Patrick ill be your server today can i interest you in our specials we have "STUFF THAT ISNT REALLY SPECIAL BUT I MEAN WHY NOT RIGHT?". Great ill be right back with that. Millers, oh sweet millers. Atmosphere: Depending on time of the day it can range from familys and friends to all the kids you hated in high school. Overall nothing to awful youre able to speak to one another normally find a table and hang out. Food: Average to... no just average. Its typical greasy food from a bar. The menu is pretty big so you can tell right away not everything can be fresh. The wings and apps are good to grab with some friends while your drinking. Alone the food is nothing to write home about. Drinks: Full bar reasonably priced with a very stereotypical "craft" beer selection. The beer is cheap if you get anything Miller you probably would have assumed that. Overall the drinks are a good price to get drunk on. That being said, If you went to high school in the area of this place more than likely you will see a lot of people you know tainting the overage sub par experience millers brings you. read more

"Hey what do you want to do tonight?" "I dunno..." "Millers?" "Millers." It's a very good go-to spot because food is good and drinks are cheap. But I generally like to sit and eat around the bar where you just wait for someone to get up. Must try - Zinger mountain melt - beers - any lunch/dinner deals - pitchers of mixed drinks read more

I wanted to watch a Thursday night Steelers game so bad that I let my friend talk me into coming here. I honestly spent most of my time standing out in the cold smoking cigarettes because I was tired of being pushed and shoved around the bar. It was so packed there was an hour wait for a table and at least three people deep all around each bar. Maybe it's because I grew out of my clubbing faze but I wanted out as soon as we walked in the door. We put a name in for a table and went to watch the game by the back bar. There were at least three open tables though our name was never called in the hour we were standing by the bar. We even got scolded for trying to sit down while we wait. I couldn't tell you anything about the food because all we had was beer. One beer each to be exact. We could barely get to the counter to close the tab. read more

I have since returned to Miller's and had a very good experience. The manager called me after my last post (I said he could) and he invited us back and paid our way. The hostess are very disorganized. They are all over the place. Are not friendly at all and are watching the TVs more than paying attention to the costumers walking in. I went to eat and there was a two hour wait, which I can understand because there was a fight playing. But each time we would ask what number they were up to (because the number thing wasn't even working to keep track) they would tell us a different lower number. They had no idea what they were doing. If you are going to lie at least all be on the same page. The place it's pretty big, huge selection of beer. The bartenders aren't friendly either. Extremely happy I was able to experience this place for the first time. This sports bar is extremely big with plenty of parking. It offers outdoor, indoor, and bar seating. There are tons of flat screen TVs inside and tons of customers. It's actually nice to be in a place packed with customers without the feeling of being packed into a bar like a sardine. The bartenders are extremely nice and quick with your order. The individual drinks here are super cheap and you can also get pitchers of both beer and alcohol at a cheap price also. What won my heart was their huge craft beer selection!!! They literally had everything you can think of! I will definitely be back in the near future because I'm curious to try the food here. read more

This place is a fun, relaxed bar that's good for groups! I went here over the weekend and we had a large party (of 20 people.) They have a huge bar area in the back and sat us near a TV and fireplace. Our server was great and the drinks were coming! At one point I complained that my vodka water wasn't strong enough, and our server took it back to the bartender and he added more vodka. This place is good for winter time considering there's a large bar area in the back that has an outdoorsy vibe but is still indoors. I'll definitely be coming here again soon. read more

I ate here for lunch today with my friend. The food was decent but nothing special. The prices are ok for what you get. However, the service was terrible. Our server laughed at me when I ordered the Very Berry Fruitini thinking I was making it up. Only after we showed him the drink menu did he believe me. After we ordered he came by so often to check on us, it was annoying. Once we got our food (it was all correct), he disappeared and we eventually got the attention of manager who took excellent care of the situation. He checked to make sure it was fine after it was fixed but then disappeared for a long while... not around to refill drinks or check if we wanted anything else (check, dessert). We received the check ($63.93). I asked to put $30 on my credit card and the rest was to be taken out of the $100 bill in the bill fold. I received a credit card slip for $33.93 and my friend got back $66.10... meaning she paid $33.90. So we paid $67+ for our $63.93 check. Instead of trying to track him down again, we decided to just to take the overage out of his tip and leave him the rest of what we were going to give. Sucks that it went to the restaurant and not him but he wasn't being very careful. read more

A drive down the new and up and coming route 4 east in Paramus will lead you to a sacred area to us locals formally know as the tenplex. Many a weekend crowds would gather at the, then, state of the art movies experience. On the "hollowed" land today sits a 24 Hr fitness which isn't open 24 hrs....sigh...and a restaurant new to this area, Millets Ale House. If you time this place right you can get sat immediately in one of the many large booths or perhaps one of the high top tables. If your lucky enough you can also sit in the living room type area surrounded by a large gas fed fireplace. The walls are all stained wood, trophy fish and televisions line the walls along side autographed sports memorabilia from local teams. This obviously is not a fine dining experience but ...it's not designed to be. For sports nuts like me...this is a utopic place of refuge where every sporting event traveling the air waves from around the world is displayed for all to see. The food is....good....it's what you expect, bar food. It's all cooked in Millers open style kitchen. I will give them this though, the poultry and other ingredients are fresh. I don't think they're using prepackaged ingredients like other national chains...or if they are...they've fooled me. The key here is the realistic and cheap drink prices. A pitcher of beer for six bucks, a bucket of beers for eight....well drinks (doubles mind you) for around 4-5! (Granted the well drinks are precisely measured...but still) In conclusion, I will be returning here again and often. A change of pace from other establishments with decent food and low drinks prices. read more

Been here a few dozen times in the past couple years during football season and always had a good time but I never felt compelled to write a review until now. So I met up with some friends last night for the NFL draft (Go Raiders!) and a lifetime love was formed. While waiting for our table I happened upon a drink in the menu that immediately grabbed my curiosity. I love the Cruzan rums and came across something unfamiliar to my knowledge of them - Cruzan Velvet. About 20 seconds after some convo with the bartender dining room side as to its origins I was 3 shots in and thirsty for more. Had our table not been called I may have emptied the bottle. The bartender explained C Velvet has replaced the other popular chata in Miller's and they serve it up a variety of ways. Had it straight..awesome! Had it specialty way 1 in what they dubbed the honeycomb..decent, may or may not order it that way again..had it specialty way 2 (which happened to be the the bartender's sig mix) and YESSSSSS!!! It was everything! I'll be back very soon for more. As far as food I can't endorse much more than the mozzarella sticks wings and zingers. The guys I was with tore ass through the loaded tortillas and the spinach dip so if you're into such things they are a go too.
