I have been a regular at this Miller's location since 2014. I can say with confidence that after today, October 1st 2021 i am finally finished with giving this place business. Over the years I have noticed a substantial decrease in the size of their portions while the prices on the menu have steadily increased. Besides that shady tactic though, you'll likely be met with rude and unprofessional staff who will wait 20-30 minutes to take your drink order after you were seated. It never got any better as we waited 47 minutes (we timed it) after we finished eating before someone noticed our empty plates and gave us the bill. I was in the men's bathroom and was washing my hands when saw an employee who looked as if he worked in the kitchen exit from a toilet stall and walk directly out of the bathroom and not bother to wash his hands. Love Miller's don't love the service at Miller's in Paramus. Been coming here since they opened totally hit or miss with the servers and management as well. A fish rots from the head down. Appetizers are supposed to come out before the entre and you shouldn't have to get up from your table to go get condiments for your food after you have asked several times. Salt pepper and ketchup are usually on the table before you get served. It seemed like it was just overnight that Miller's became THE SPOT to go to. Going there is like going to a high school reunion if you grew up around the area like I did. It's a nice spot to get food, drinks, or just some snacks. They do have many areas that offer different types of vibes. When you first walk in, it's more of a restaurant type setting - it's quiet and dim. The further you get into the venue it turns into a casual bar area, and then all the way in the back is the loudest part where they have DJ's playing and music blasting. There are still tables but it's catered more to just a grab a drink and hang out with friends type of setting. The food is not bad either. I've been there many times and ordered their appetizers for munchin' while drinking and they're all delicious. From the loaded fries, to the calamari, to their zingers, you really can't go wrong. And for the price? Definitely a steal. Their drinks are also on the cheap side, but not lacking in alcohol. Their pitchers are $10 (Blue LIT, Sangria etc.) and they're big. One or two of them and you're set for the night if you really want to get lit. It does get crowded a lot especially during the weekends, but they're still plenty of room for everyone. They also have a good variety of beer; a lot of different options to choose from. I skipped a coaster past my friend and one of their guy bussers or whoever acted like I threw a Frisbee at them, and.made a bouncer kick me out. I have since returned to Miller's and had a very good experience. The manager called me after my last post (I said he could) and he invited us back and paid our way. Really, that was the only way I would try again! Regardless, it was a very good experience and the food was delicious! I truly appreciate the varied menu and ice cream cake for dessert! I love Miller's!! They have such a large selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices!! I enjoyed a lovely afternoon of food and drinks outside on their patio in the 70 degree weather! My favorite dish here is the 35 Shrimp Scampi! It is a magnificent portion, complete with 35 shrimp, with the perfect amount of garlic as well as garlic bread! They also serve $10 pitchers all day long! My favorite is the Blue LIT pitcher! They also have great desserts!! They have a ton of TVs where you can enjoy any sporting event outside on their patio as well as in their 2 bars inside. Great Value! read more

I enjoyed EVERYTHING about this place. My sisters and I decided to take my mom here the Saturday before Mother's Day. We wanted to try something different and new and this place was perfect. The menu has a huge selection. The drink menu is also great! We saw a group of guys with two blue pitchers and asked the waiter what it was he said he was a blue long island for $10! We ended up getting a different kind but it was still $10 and it was worth every penny. We also had shots and 4-5 appeteizers and ended up spending no more than $60. Glorified fast food sports bar not worth waiting for! My family called the restaurant to make a reservation identifying it was for my birthday. We were told no reservations are taken and they will take care of us when we show up. So we did, at 2PM on a Sunday. We were a party of four with me wearing a stupid birthday hat. They told us "due to the game on TV, we do not know when you will be seated" and that was with a bunch of people waiting outside. It would have helped to let us know before arriving when we called! All the front-door staff were absolutely abysmal DOING NOTHING AT ALL TO HELP. We left in disgust. The place seems to be packed at all times with people occupying tables nursing drinks watching entire games while those that want to eat have to wait outside for hours. When I wrote a letter of complaint someone named Anthony claiming to be a regional manager left us a message saying he was sorry. Very lazy and insulting response. He offered nothing nor did he bother to write an actual letter of apology. If you want to have drinks at a generic place packed 4 deep go for it. This place is humongous; there's rooms upon rooms of tables and bars. And yet, still packed. Good luck getting a drink because the human cushion around the bar is 5 people thick. Millers is your average sports bar - with a lot of TVs and a long list of beers to choose from. They have some good deals and decent food options to accompany the drinks. The music is good and they're very spaced out. All in all - they're great apart from one thing. The service. It's like they're doing you a favor by letting you come in here. I've seen people kicked out for just asking for a drink at the bar because the bartender thought they were too drunk. They weren't, and even if, and what do you expect? Aren't you selling drinks at a bar? On a separate occasion, a friend was asked to leave because he wore his pants too low [he wasn't]. The bartenders and servers don't seem to have any sense of urgency, and even though a lot of busy places seem to be this way, Millers seems to make an attempt to delay your orders. That being said, there are some servers who were very nice and cordial - but on several occasions it was very difficult to deal with. I guess everyone in the area has been eagerly awaiting the opening of Miller's Ale House since the place was completely packed on it's fourth day of operation without the help of any advertising whatsoever. I arrived at 7pm and the parking lot was full. You couldn't get near either of the two big bars, and there was over a half hour wait for a table. I put my name on the list and decided to wait. Miller's NJ Ale House consists of two large rooms, each with a large circular bar in the center which is flanked by tables on three sides. The decor is typical rec. room / sports bar with everything covered in wood paneling with figures of large fish and sports plaques hanging on the walls interspersed between an abundance of flat screen TVs. The room on the right has two full walls of screened open windows and a fireplace with some comfy seating in the back. While both rooms were loud and lively, the noise level in this room was much louder than the noise level in the main room, so we chose to eat there instead. The food is average with reasonable prices. I had the fish tacos and they gave me three fish tacos with a side of rice and beans. It was a large portion of food and I didn't finish it all. I saw several people sitting nearby order the nachos. I've never seen such a large pile of nachos before. It was like a tub of nachos. I also heard that the Prime Rib was pretty good, and the fries. The drinks were cheap and they had lots of specials. Besides lots of beers on tap, there is an extensive drink menu. $10 for a pitcher of sangria. $4.95 for a mojito. $5.95 for a glass of wine. $2 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon, etc. Aside from a few specials which correspond to a certain day of the week, most of the specials are constant and ongoing. I can definitely see this place getting alot more packed and crowded as the word gets out even more. It's a very comfortable come as you are atmosphere and reminds me of hanging out in places in Florida which makes sense since that's where the chain originated. I believe this is the second location that they have opened in NJ. All of the servers were very friendly and very attentive. I will most likely be returning, perhaps often. read more

So far, so good! I was happy another place opened up as I was sick of going to the usualmall chain restaurants in that area. Came on opening night and was able to grab a bar stool right away as the place is HUGE! There are two rooms, each with a huge oval bar, booths, and high tops. The one room has a screened patio so the summer breeze could come in. There is also a nice fire place seating area. Food-it is a chain, so my expectations weren't the highest. However, my steak fajitas were very good. The bartender was very accomodating as I like my steak rare and I understand that when making fajitas that isn't always possible, but it came out nice and red! That is the only thing I ate so I can't comment on the other menu items. Drink-tons of beer, drink specials, actually a little overwhelming...great prices. Service-great and friendly bartenders! Miller's Ale House has a decent happy hour with your typical chain restaurant, bar food. They have a good amount of IPA's which they will let you sample. The happy hour gets VERY packed and very loud so be prepared for that type of scene! There are countless TV's so it's good for watching sports. There is also a small outdoor seating area. This is not the kind of place you would frequent but it's entertaining to go once in a while for a few hours. Yay!! Sport night. What am I doing here on a week day night? The crowd was young as in I just turned 21, let's party. This particular night there were three games and very crowded with no place to sit. Not a smart idea to come here for dinner on a game night. Waited literally one hour or more for a table. I ordered the Zinger meltdown, as did my friend and yeah, it was good. Loaded cheese fries with their signature zingers on top. Nothing special but I was in the mood for "bar food". I had a New Castle and 3 Heinekens. My friend had 4 Honey Jack and Cokes. Our server was great, stayed on top of our drinks but didn't hover. Here's my problem, and the reason it goes to 3 stars. 1) For two people, with the little listed above, our bill was $81. Seriously?? Look, I don't care if that makes me sound cheap. I think that's absurd for the little amount we ordered. I could have had the exact same order at my local bar for HALF the price. 2) I'd say 90-95% of their menu comes in at OVER 600 calories. They don't list their NI so I had to Google it and it's insane. All the fish/pasta/chicken plates are at 1000 calories and up. The zinger meltdown? 2490. Two thousand, four hundred and ninety calories. Let that sink in. I've never said this about ANY place before, but I will NEVER eat at Miller's again. I went here about 5 times already, 4 times before it got really packed and once day before thanksgiving which was ridiculously packed! Food is pretty good I love the naked wings and the side dishes. I love to drink so this place is good for drinks - BEER mostly. I love how everything is cheap compared to NYC prices which I am used to seeing. Last night was my second time eating at this place. The first time I had the an order of wings, zingers and a steak sandwich, which all were excellent! Last night, I decided to order the full rack of ribs. One thing I will tell you is DON'T order the ribs. They were absolutely disgusting!
