Perfect sports bar. Bartenders are friendly, drinks are plentiful, food is solid. F$#k ton of tv's.

We came to millers to eat and have some drinks. The waiter was not attentive at all, he kept forgetting our orders and kept coming back and forth. We asked for another pitcher of their blue Long Island ice tea and asked for no ice due to us having some ice already. The bartender brought out a half of pitcher of Long Island. So unprofessional, never coming back here. Disappointed read more

Miller's Ale House - So we asked for no ice because we have some ice from the other pitcher and this is what the "bartender" with the crooked hat brought out.. - Sports Bars Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

This place has become a regular spot for my friends and I. They got great food with drinks at reasonable prices. I got the zingers flatbread pizza and it was phenomenal!!!! My friends got spinach artichoke dip, French fries & chicken fingers all of which were very good. My favorite drink there is their Painkiller. It's got a mix of different liquors with nice juices to go with it and it's fantastic I highly suggest it. Anthony is a great waiter he is sociable, funny & just overall a great waiter and stays on top of what you need! Every time we come in we try to get him but the last time we didn't cause they were limited with seating. Another great waitress is Lexi! Shout out to her for being the sweetest, friendliest waitress in that place hands down. Even when we don't have her as a waitress she still goes out of her way to come say hi to our table and that gives you extra points in my book! Mario is another extraordinary waiter who always comes over to our table whenever we are here at Millers, he also remembered our names after one time of us telling him what they were! He is amazing! James is an amazing manager. He keeps everything running smoothly and says hello to his regulars. He has a great sense of humor & is always so positive! Also must mention that Marty is an excellent bartender! Right off the bat when we sat down he was tending to my friend and I every second and made sure we were always okay. He was kind, friendly & someone you would like to have as a bartender anywhere you go! He's the best hands down!!! Overall, Millers is a convenient local bar/restaurant that has good food with great reasonable priced drinks. It is a to try out for sure if you haven't already! read more

I freaking love this place!! Agata is an amazing bartender! Mad cool and easy to talk to.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Parking is not ideal bc the gym next door and the other businesses. The waiters could be a little more friendlier but the food makes up for the lack of personality on staff. read more

So I came here for a date! Great service. The food was wonderful. I enjoyed a huge plate of Mahi Tacos and for dessert I had a brownie Sunday. The serving sizes were huge! Ginormous. I couldn't finish. read more

This is a great place to hang out, drink some craft (or regular) beer, watch some sports, and eat some good finger (or normal) foods. I went to NJ for work and for a few nights I needed a place to just watch football. I hung out at the bar by myself and it wasn't awkward at all. It's lively all the time so you won't be bored. read more

I love the atmosphere here ! The food is always great and the prices are even better ! I'm super glad this place is so close to my house ! The managers actually come to check on you which is not something you see very often ! The portions are insane and that's why I keep coming back! We love millers ! Def recommend the mega nachos and you can get a tall blue moon for the same price as a pint which is a steal! Those are clearly my go tos! read more

No frills pub with great happy hour on food and drinks every day! Recommend for large parties, hang outs, game nights. Visited this location a few times and service is always pretty good. Restaurant is spacious and clean. Sometimes the beer isn't as crisp and fresh as it should be, but hey it is $13 for a Bluemoon pitcher. read more

This place gets PACKED on Thursday nights and weekends. There are 2 bars, the one closest to the entrance is usually where the older group hangs out, the 2nd bar is younger, but good luck finding a seat..especially when a game or fight is on. I had to wait over 45 minutes for a table near the 2nd bar on a Saturday, which isn't too bad. The guys behind the 1st bar were not very nice when it came to ordering food and drinks while we waited to be seated, but once we were seated our waiter was nice af. Also, I like the fact that they have bouncers. I've never seen an instance where a bouncer has had to escort someone out. FYI, they do go around checking IDs and you are carded at the bar. read more

Food quality and service continue to worsen. There are some great people friendly servers and bartenders here but most seem apathetic. Food quality reflects the same. read more

I have been a regular at this Miller's location since 2014. I can say with confidence that after today, October 1st 2021 i am finally finished with giving this place business. Over the years I have noticed a substantial decrease in the size of their portions while the prices on the menu have steadily increased. Besides that shady tactic though, you'll likely be met with rude and unprofessional staff who will wait 20-30 minutes to take your drink order after you were seated. It never got any better as we waited 47 minutes (we timed it) after we finished eating before someone noticed our empty plates and gave us the bill. You'll get better food and service at the 101 pub or The Front Porch. read more

I was at Miller's last night with friends and am sorry to say I witnessed the following. I was in the men's bathroom and was washing my hands when saw an employee who looked as if he worked in the kitchen exit from a toilet stall and walk directly out of the bathroom and not bother to wash his hands. I wanted to vomit as I had just finished eating. To walk out of a bathroom and not wash your hands is unacceptable if you're not a restaurant employee but to do it while you are is totally disgusting. read more

Love Miller's don't love the service at Miller's in Paramus. Been coming here since they opened totally hit or miss with the servers and management as well. A fish rots from the head down. Appetizers are supposed to come out before the entre and you shouldn't have to get up from your table to go get condiments for your food after you have asked several times. Salt pepper and ketchup are usually on the table before you get served. Oh yeah and management it's not a good idea to be confrontational with a customer who is just looking for exactly what they ordered and a refill on their drink and some ketchup for their kids French fries. read more

My first time here and last time. Let me begin with the food encrusted menus I was presented at the table. When I saw one of the waiters (wearing a Yankee cap) stick a straw in someone's pitcher drink and clogging the straw and the proceeded to drop the sip in his mouth. I was disgusted beyond words. Also sitting facing the kitchen and it was a horror show. read more

the food was great , but my server Jalen was very respectful young man, great service

Bartenders are great. Buger and a cold beer was great while watching the game. Very friendly environment and always clean.

It seemed like it was just overnight that Miller's became THE SPOT to go to. Going there is like going to a high school reunion if you grew up around the area like I did. It's a nice spot to get food, drinks, or just some snacks. They do have many areas that offer different types of vibes. When you first walk in, it's more of a restaurant type setting - it's quiet and dim. The further you get into the venue it turns into a casual bar area, and then all the way in the back is the loudest part where they have DJ's playing and music blasting. There are still tables but it's catered more to just a grab a drink and hang out with friends type of setting. The food is not bad either. I've been there many times and ordered their appetizers for munchin' while drinking and they're all delicious. From the loaded fries, to the calamari, to their zingers, you really can't go wrong. And for the price? Definitely a steal. Their drinks are also on the cheap side, but not lacking in alcohol. Their pitchers are $10 (Blue LIT, Sangria etc.) and they're big. One or two of them and you're set for the night if you really want to get lit. It does get crowded a lot especially during the weekends, but they're still plenty of room for everyone. The servers are also friendly and efficient on most occasions. Overall a good place to go to! read more

Their wings and their loaded nachos with chicken were delicious. I also have their Cajun chicken pasta which was pretty mediocre. Their apps and finger food seem to be the best part of their menu. They also have a good variety of beer; a lot of different options to choose from. And what I really liked is that when you put your name down on the wait list you're able to check how many people are before you and exactly where on the list you are. It's a fun place to go with your friends to watch a fight/game or just to grab some food and drinks. read more

Miller Isn't One Of My Go To Brewers Mediocre Food And Beer Cheap Prices Filled With Obnoxious Overgrown Children Frozen deep fried food and processed sysco junk, shit beer, awful atmosphere, weak drinks, cheap well liquor, sugary ass mixers, terrible service from the bar and wait staff with no management in sight and some person doing reputation management here on yelp with the very personable name of Customer S. (I'm Yelp R. nice to meet you) If I feel like being in a sardine can with a bunch of loud childish A-holes or meatheads unable to hold their liquor or drinking way too much run of the mill(er) junk beer, this is where I would go. Glorified fast food sports bar not worth waiting for! My family called the restaurant to make a reservation identifying it was for my birthday. We were told no reservations are taken and they will take care of us when we show up. So we did, at 2PM on a Sunday. We were a party of four with me wearing a stupid birthday hat. They told us "due to the game on TV, we do not know when you will be seated" and that was with a bunch of people waiting outside. It would have helped to let us know before arriving when we called! All the front-door staff were absolutely abysmal DOING NOTHING AT ALL TO HELP. We left in disgust. The place seems to be packed at all times with people occupying tables nursing drinks watching entire games while those that want to eat have to wait outside for hours. When I wrote a letter of complaint someone named Anthony claiming to be a regional manager left us a message saying he was sorry. Very lazy and insulting response. He offered nothing nor did he bother to write an actual letter of apology. If you want to have drinks at a generic place packed 4 deep go for it. For me there are plenty of similar places without the wait or stupidity of management. read more

PATRONS I dined here last night with an incredible hunk and found myself at a restaurant that suited him perfectly. They should change the name of Miller's N.J Ale House to Miller's Male Ale House. The men in this restaurant appear as if they finished a session at 24 hour fitness next door prior to arriving to enjoy the food on the menu lol (but seriously). Single ladies: THIS IS YOUR PLACE TO BE!! ;) FOOD and DRINKS My friend and I ordered and shared zingers mountain dew with Sweet Thai Chili sauce. The dish was pretty good. The fries, bacon, scallions, and melted Monterey Jack cheese paired great with the ranch dressing. The pear martini was incredibly sweet; didn't enjoy it so I sent it back in replacement of a good ole fashion martini. The atmosphere is common for a Friday night- grouped, happy crowd along with muscle guys....again single ladies (read above and thank me later) ;) read more

After years of hearing about Miller's, I finally went last Saturday night. When there was a UFC fight on. Very, very bad timing. PACKED. TO. THE. BRIM. This place is humongous; there's rooms upon rooms of tables and bars. And yet, still packed. Good luck getting a drink because the human cushion around the bar is 5 people thick. Guess I'll stand in a random corner then... Bergen county cesspool. If you grew up in the area, you're bound to bump into people you know. (I awkwardly avoided two different people I hadn't seen since high school and I was only there for 20 minutes.) Screw the UFC fight, I spent my time patron watching and thinking, "this place is so New Jersey." First visit was a total turn off. But would I return? Maybe on a weekday when it's not bustling to the brim. Plus, they have a nice outdoor patio which might be a cool spot to hang in the coming months. Update? We'll see... read more

Came here on a sat night and it wasn't pretty packed. I'm disappointed and won't be back here. We waited about 5 mins for a booth which isn't a long wait but then we waited 30 mins for a waitress so that's one star off Ordered chicken nachos and the waitress found a hair in it and changed it but didn't comp it?!?? Thats 2 stars off!! Drinks are very cheap there so I suggest you go there for drinks and not for food cuz food is like Applebee's food, maybe just a tad bit better. But still I won't be back. read more

Millers is your average sports bar - with a lot of TVs and a long list of beers to choose from. They have some good deals and decent food options to accompany the drinks. The music is good and they're very spaced out. All in all - they're great apart from one thing. The service. It's like they're doing you a favor by letting you come in here. I've seen people kicked out for just asking for a drink at the bar because the bartender thought they were too drunk. They weren't, and even if, and what do you expect? Aren't you selling drinks at a bar? On a separate occasion, a friend was asked to leave because he wore his pants too low [he wasn't]. The bartenders and servers don't seem to have any sense of urgency, and even though a lot of busy places seem to be this way, Millers seems to make an attempt to delay your orders. That being said, there are some servers who were very nice and cordial - but on several occasions it was very difficult to deal with. I'm not very picky with service but if it does bother me as much as this, it deserves a mention. read more

When you go to Miller's Ale House, don't expect a fancy steak, plan on waiting about 30-40 minutes for a table, and hopefully you arrive at the exact minute someone is getting up at the bar so you can sit while you chug a beer while waiting for a table. Of course this place is packed right now, because I'm sure everyone else in the area is tired of going to Houlihan's, PF Changs, and TGIFriday's after shopping... The food isn't great....I wasn't a fan of the wings. I guess i'd order the buffalo shrimp again... This place has a pretty cool bar, and great for sports, considering the amount of TV's. Don't expect much though when you arrive, and hopefully you won't become so disappointed like the rest of reviewers. It's kind of like a step above Hooters with the huge picnic-like tables, and without the "classy" waitresses... read more

Don't expect good service here. The server took wrong order and charged the highest price.

Huge, clean restaurant with tons of televisions make this a great sports bar or place to grab a bite. However, we weren't blown away by the food - just average for both selections. Service was polite, but extraordinarily awkward from the moment we walked in the door until the second we left with both the employees with whom we interacted. It was actually uncomfortable. They need to loosen up! read more

I was with my friends who spent hours there's and over 60 dollars in a bill. I skipped a coaster past my friend and one of their guy bussers or whoever acted like I threw a Frisbee at them, and.made a bouncer kick me out. It's insane that a customer who pays good money to be there for their over priced drinks gets kicked out for a simple misunderstanding. They will lose my service. They were eager to throw me put and we're not willing to hear me out Plus the shorter overweight guy insisted on grabbing my arm to leave. MILLERS OVER REACTS TO EVERYTHING. read more

I guess everyone in the area has been eagerly awaiting the opening of Miller's Ale House since the place was completely packed on it's fourth day of operation without the help of any advertising whatsoever. I arrived at 7pm and the parking lot was full. You couldn't get near either of the two big bars, and there was over a half hour wait for a table. I put my name on the list and decided to wait. Miller's NJ Ale House consists of two large rooms, each with a large circular bar in the center which is flanked by tables on three sides. The decor is typical rec. room / sports bar with everything covered in wood paneling with figures of large fish and sports plaques hanging on the walls interspersed between an abundance of flat screen TVs. The room on the right has two full walls of screened open windows and a fireplace with some comfy seating in the back. While both rooms were loud and lively, the noise level in this room was much louder than the noise level in the main room, so we chose to eat there instead. The food is average with reasonable prices. I had the fish tacos and they gave me three fish tacos with a side of rice and beans. It was a large portion of food and I didn't finish it all. I saw several people sitting nearby order the nachos. I've never seen such a large pile of nachos before. It was like a tub of nachos. I also heard that the Prime Rib was pretty good, and the fries. The drinks were cheap and they had lots of specials. Besides lots of beers on tap, there is an extensive drink menu. $10 for a pitcher of sangria. $4.95 for a mojito. $5.95 for a glass of wine. $2 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon, etc. Aside from a few specials which correspond to a certain day of the week, most of the specials are constant and ongoing. I can definitely see this place getting alot more packed and crowded as the word gets out even more. It's a very comfortable come as you are atmosphere and reminds me of hanging out in places in Florida which makes sense since that's where the chain originated. I believe this is the second location that they have opened in NJ. All of the servers were very friendly and very attentive. I will most likely be returning, perhaps often. read more

Miller's Ale House - $2 papst's tall boys all day everyday cant beat it! - Sports Bars Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

So far, so good! I was happy another place opened up as I was sick of going to the usualmall chain restaurants in that area. Came on opening night and was able to grab a bar stool right away as the place is HUGE! There are two rooms, each with a huge oval bar, booths, and high tops. The one room has a screened patio so the summer breeze could come in. There is also a nice fire place seating area. Food-it is a chain, so my expectations weren't the highest. However, my steak fajitas were very good. The bartender was very accomodating as I like my steak rare and I understand that when making fajitas that isn't always possible, but it came out nice and red! That is the only thing I ate so I can't comment on the other menu items. Drink-tons of beer, drink specials, actually a little overwhelming...great prices. Service-great and friendly bartenders! This place is going to be packed for football season I'm thinking. read more

Miller's Ale House has a decent happy hour with your typical chain restaurant, bar food. They have a good amount of IPA's which they will let you sample. The happy hour gets VERY packed and very loud so be prepared for that type of scene! There are countless TV's so it's good for watching sports. There is also a small outdoor seating area. This is not the kind of place you would frequent but it's entertaining to go once in a while for a few hours. I like going here in the summer after work because one of the bars has large, open windows all around it so it's bright and sunny in there. read more

Yay!! Sport night. What am I doing here on a week day night? The crowd was young as in I just turned 21, let's party. This particular night there were three games and very crowded with no place to sit. Not a smart idea to come here for dinner on a game night. Waited literally one hour or more for a table. Finally, after almost dying of hunger we were seated only to be served with a dry cheeseburger that was weak in every aspect of burger rules. I enjoyed the sprite, pickles, and the little eye candy that was available. Yeah, and lots of television. read more
