I texted my landlord & told him that the AC wasn't working! Shortly after 8am, a tech showed up. After a while he didn't have great news! The tech guy called Will to confirm that he thought we would need a new unit!! Will confirmed! Needless to say I was upset, two fold, I live there & being I'm a small business, I really didn't won't to shut down for a day or several. Will told me he would get it done as quick as possible, but it would probably be the first of the following week! Will & his dad went the extra mile & brought me a huge fan to keep the coffee shop as cook as possible, so that I wouldn't have to close my business!! Can I just tell you.... They started on Friday morning & I had AC by the afternoon! I am one happy girl! I didn't have to go through the weekend hot!! Thank you, Will & all the guys for your fast & fabulous work!! At first Will was great to work with when he thought I would purchase from his company. He told me my service charge would be 98.00. After shopping around, I had to choose another HVAC company to install my unit. They gave me a better deal on the financing and I am a single mom. After I shared this with Will when I called to pay my service call invoice it now was 202.50?! I paid the invoice and then repeatedly called, leaving Will messages at work and on his cell. I wanted an explanation of why my bill went up over 100.00. The only work done was an assessment of my HVAC system! He still has not returned my calls. I have gotten no explanation of the invoice even after leaving him a message that I would share this with the better business bureau - which I have done...

Matt came out within the window originally provided, he was extremely professional, very patient with my questions, offered a variety of proactive suggestions for my HVAC. He inspected the unit outside, took pictures to show me what he observed (I had a Duke surge protector) and cleaned the coils. Did a thorough inspection of the unit inside. I was impressed enough that I signed up for the annual maintenance plan! It includes summer and winter maintenance and 10% discounts on labor/parts if needed. In my opinion, the annual maintenance was well within my expectations. I am a brand new owner of the condo and it meant a lot that he took the time to walk me through everything. I would highly recommend this company and definitely Matt hands-down! You can tell they're invested in building and maintaining relationships and that means a lot these days. Oh! And I am really interested in the UV system that seems to be a better option for my type of HVAC set up. If I can swing it, I will definitely be contacting them for the install. I called when my furnace wouldn't come on. They talked me into the service contract since the…read moreinitial part discount would pretty much pay for the contract. The technician tried a few parts and said it was the control card. Expensive repair but after I didn't hear back after a couple of days I called and was told they couldn't find the card or suitable replacement so they gave me a $10k quote to replace the whole unit. I asked if it was covered by the warranty since it's only 6 years old and he said they couldn't find any service records so the manufacturer wouldn't honor the warranty. I got a second opinion from another local company and they found a clogged orafice. Once cleared it worked fine and that said this unit will last for years and is still under warranty. Roland Black called a few days later to see if I want to schedule the installation or the new furnace. I explained what happened and asked to cancel my annual service contract and get that money back. She said she would talk to her manager but I have not heard back in about a week. I can't recommend Roland and Black. A friend told me they had a similar experience.
