They have no business doing residential HVAC, with a CEO in finance…read moreand a current licensure in a 18 month probation period due to - Allegations licensee failed to obtain permit(s) prior to commencing work, failed to request inspections within 10 days of substantial completion of work, failed to obtain final inspections, failed to provide supervision, failed to perform proper load calculation(s), violated the minimum standard of the North Carolina State Mechanical Code, improperly licensed a branch office, but pulled a permit for another branch office, installations were performed in a poor workman like manner / poor workmanship, charged for and was paid for items that did not need to be installed and were not installed. After the complaint was filed the firm rectified the issue. Resolution Conference held 01/22/2025. The Review Committee found that the allegations were supported by the evidence and recommended that the license of Matthew Stewart, number 29999 H-2&3-I & P-II, and that of the firm shall be placed on supervised probation for a period of eighteen (18) months. Among other requirements during the probation, the licensee shall enroll in, attend, and complete the series of Special Mechanical Code courses and complete the Special Board Laws & Rules course ( Stewart, Matthew J. Call Dad, LLC Denver, NC License# 29999 H-2&3-I & P-II) My personal experience has been at a loss of over $17,000, an incorrectly installed system with initial failed county permit, property damage, gas leak, and a years worth of pain and suffering from trying to work with them to correct Call Dad's poor workmanship and failed minimum standard to basic codes.
