We moved into a house in River Hills on Lake Wylie three years ago and have been having a recurring sewage issue. I had another plumbing company come out yesterday to take care of the problem. They snaked the clear out to the manhole, but did not solve the problem. I then contacted Rideout Plumbing. We are having water pressure issues and I called Julian's after seeing mostly glowing reviews. I explained our issues and what was going on, and he asked me a couple questions that I was not sure about and needed to get my husband for. Asked him to wait a second. So I got my husband to explain things and we heard nothing. Said hello a couple times and still heard nothing. Hung up and redialed the number twice with no response. Also called another number he had asked me to text pictures to, with no response. We had a leaking toilet. It was not an emergency. I called Julian's plumbing and they came out the next morning. Arrived at 8:10am and left at 8:25am. It was a leaking supply valve. He replaced and then tested. $319.00 for 15 minutes. That is $1,276.00 per hour!!! Chasen said there was nothing he could do as it was a set price. No common sense!!! Ask about the pricing before you engage. As a follow up to my review.....Apparently, the yelp reviews do make a difference to some business owners. Moments after I posted the above review, Jason called me and listened to my story. He then made an adjustment and everyone is happy. I wish all small business owners were that conscience. I've used Julian's Plumbing on more than one occasion and each time I've been more than pleased with the responsiveness, quality and service we'vereceived. I won't call anyone else, and do not hesitate to recommend them to those in need of an amazing (not just good) plumber. Like a lot of homeowners, I'm up for a good DIY project, but Jason and team are able to make what they do appear simple and easy. It took them about 40 minutes to add two outdoor faucets. Could I could have done it? sure, but this not being my first rodeo, I've found that the time it would take me to attempt and learn, then do what they do (at the same expert level) and fix what I did ultimately did incorrectly (or pay someone to correct) would be likely days and cost me 10x as much. Next day, and he even confirmed the appointment prior to coming over. Unfortunately, my regular plumber was able to come over and take care of my clog. Jason was gracious to accept my cancellation. We were out of town on a family emergency when we were notified our hot water heater went out... I tried to take care of it by calling national plumbing services for an emergency service call. The first company sent out someone who spoke no English making communication with my liaison here at home very hard and the 2nd company had a problem with sending the quote to my email so it ultimately took 2 days AFTER I got home to get the initial quote... Upon arrival back home, frustrated, I found Julian's Plumbing and called Jason. He answered on the 1st ring and immediately told me to send him pictures of the water heater's label and the area it was located. Within minutes I was sent a quote. We asked when he could do it, he said how is within the hour. I CANNOT express how much we appreciate Jason and his son for the prompt and courteous professional service we received. We then asked Jason about an issue we had with our kitchen sink. He gave us a very reasonable estimate on replacing the faucet and under the sink pipes and arrived promptly on the scheduled date. While here he remembered we had mentioned whistling pipes in the upstairs bathroom and predicted the problem was a flow "regulator" (I think) and flapper which I had purchased to install but never did it. He used our parts and fixed the problem..... Had really high water bill past couple of months, more than double my normal usage. After I check all the faucets and toliets found that downstairs restroom toliet was running this whole time.
