My sister brought me here and although it was a nice place and the staff was nice I really didn't enjoy my experience. I was slightly uncomfortable when she was filing my nails because she had cut my nails a tad too short and I felt like she was rushing. She had put 3 layers of nail polish on and at the end didn't look all that great when she was done. They seem to have quite a few regulars and they are pretty big location. I came here as a walk in and while I was pleased they were able to take me right away I didn't have a good experience at all. My gel manicure and pedicure were both rushed and not relaxing in fact the filing was painful. One of my cuticles were cut too deeply and started to bleed. Service is good if you want to be in-and-out and just the job done - there was no lengthy leg massage or exfoliating scrub or any of the extra "spa" type stuff, but the pedicure was high quality and it didn't take too long. I would say that the experience was worth the money in terms of the quality of the job and how quickly we were in and out of there. I came here on a Thursday afternoon at 4:45p, where I waited for about 1/2 hour for a French Mani/Pedi. Good thing that I can't see my feet often, because my nails were terrible! One hand was filed square while my left was oval in style. The square filing was distorted in angle. Let's not talk about the French itself! Absolutely horrible! I used to come here a lot with Kim as the tech, and her technique was flawless. I think I would have done a better job myself using my left hand as opposed to the tech that did my nails. As with the Pedi, the water was cold. They used that gross cheese grater thing. I scrub my feet with a pumice stone daily in the shower, and the use of the grater just made my skin peel. For $38, it certainly was not worth it! I would have gladly paid more for better quality design. I guess I won't me coming back anytime soon. read more

I usually go to another local nail location but my tech wasn't in so I decided to give this place a try since my nails really needed to be done. I usually go to yelp before trying anything new but this place looked clean and sufficient. Jennifer did my nails. It started off fine she was very nice and easy going but I quickly learned that she had no business doing nails. She barely filed or buffed my nails and if you've ever had powder dipped nails then you know it requires an extreme amount of filing and buffing. My nails were barely polished with the top coat and I left sort of feeling confused. Once you get to your car is when you really get a clear view of your nails and instantly I hated it. My nails are lumpy, sharp and dull. I'm use to my nail tech giving 100% and paying attention to all details. I see a lot of photos posted where the polish is all past the cuticle. (People that's not good work!) Thank goodness my event isn't taking place this week or I would be livid. A complete waste of money. The owner should really look at these yelp reviews and make a change. I went here on at 6pm on a weekday to get a regular manicure. The store sign said they close at 7. I walked in and all the employees had their coats on ready to leave. I asked if they were closed and they said they would take me. I apologized and said it was ok, I would just go somewhere else. The ladies insisted on taking me. I received a sub-par manicure that barely lasted two days (I usually get a week or more out of a regular manicure). There were no quality nail polishes and a meek selection of colors. To top it off, the employees spent the time talking crap about their customers. I am Vietnamese so I understood what they were saying. Fast forward a month later, I called to ask how much a regular mani-pedi is. The owner responded it was $28, then proceeded to talk crap about me while I was still on the phone. She said, "oh my God, this girl has a Vietnamese name and she is speaking to me in English, that's so pathetic". FYI, I speak Vietnamese. I read and write it, too and I was born in the US. I choose not to converse with nail techs in Vietnamese or let them know I am Vietnamese to see how their customer service is. There are a few salons that do not disrespect customers, this one definitely does. I'll pay the extra $2 and go to Aha down the street, thanks. Today I had Ben who is meticulous and detail oriented! He gave me the perfect shape and even was patient with me as we tried out a couple of different nail color options until we settled on the best. My nails look disgusting as if I let my 7 year old do them. My nails look very messy. There's a buildup of nail polish and acrylic at the base of every single one of my nails. My nails are also uneven and heavy because she didn't file them down despite me asking her to do so. I just finished getting my eyebrows done at EWC and decided to get a mani/pedi. There was no one waiting so I was seen immediately. The lady who did my pedicure was rude - didn't bother to say hello or exchange names... Just tried to upsell me with the $5 callus remover which she claimed I needed, add a design on my toes, then looked at my face and asked if I wanted to add waxing services. This was after she cut a little too much skin off of my left pinky toe which was bleeding. Oh and all of this was in between her having her cellphone to the left of the station and looking down and reading. Excuse me if my pedicure is interrupting your life. After my pedicure was completed, she got up and didn't even tell me what table to go to. I asked someone else and they pointed me to a different table... Apparently someone else was doing my manicure which the lady in the brown leopard or cheetah print pants failed to mention. You would think it would only get better after how awful the cheetah or leopard print pants lady was huh? Nope! The next lady didn't even bother to introduce herself and just tried to up sell my gel manicure to something else that was $55 and I wasn't interested in. She didn't use cuticle oil before cutting my cuticles and she didn't even bother to rub in the lotion all the way after she applied them to my hands. She was a bit rough with pushing my hands down to the UV each time she applied a coat to several fingers. The only reason I knew her name was because "Laura" was on her card. I understand you want to go home, but that's no excuse to be so unprofessional with a customer. I got in at 5pm and the salon closes at 7 (per Yelp and the sign on their door). Please, save yourself the aggravation and your money and go somewhere else. The only reason I decided to come in was because it was a convenient location to EWC. So I decided to let Laura do my nails and the 1st time she did them, they were ok. I got a gel manicure and received the worst experience I've ever had. First, I had an appointment but still had to wait 20 minutes for someone available to help me. They could not do the design that I wanted, which was an ombré design. So I got my gel and asked for a starfish design. The woman did not know what a starfish was so I showed her a picture and she gave me a crappy fat flower. There were holes and it was smudgey. Also I accidentally hit my nail on the dryer, a common accident, and she was rude to me for the rest of my time in the salon. And mind you, this is gel polish not regular polish where you can just clean up the nail polish on your skin with polish remover. I made an appointment for a gel polish and pedicure. The woman kept rushing me to pick a color, which should have been my first indicator to leave. The same woman did my pedicure and manicure. Both services were completed in under 40 minutes and it showed. The work was sloppy. I went to dry my toe nails and realized my nails were rougher than when I entered. I also looked at my mom's nails and realized she was bleeding. A woman could tell we were upset and approached me. She filed my nail after I informed here my nails were rough. Instead of apologizing she kept telling me she usually only puts 2 coats but did 3 for me. All in all a terrible experience. This change of heart comes from their harassment of spa pedicure up sell.
