I specifically planned out getting my hair done this past Friday because I have a lot of family functions coming up in the next week and wanted to look nice and fresh. Alyssa had done my hair once before and the price was reasonable so I decided to give it another shot. Big mistake. I specifically asked for a more intense blonde balayage look and wanted an inch or two trimmed. 3 and a half hours and $160 (plus tip) later, I was left with the worst haircut of my life. Tony gave me layers without even asking me and these were the most uneven layers I've ever seen. At one point he grabbed my hair from the front and asked which way I part my hair, then proceeded to chop away at my side bangs. That's when I demanded he put the scissors down, blow out my hair so I could just leave. I was mortified. I like my side bangs the way they are and not once did I ask for them to be cut or for layers. In regards to the color...the lighting in the salon was not the best so once my hair was blown out, I couldn't really see the balayage look that I had asked for but I figured it must be the lighting. I had trusted that this girl knew what balayage was since she had done it before. Once I got to my car I realized that it literally looked like my natural hair with faint highlights. I was so upset. I decided to contact Alyssa and explain how unhappy I was with my hair. She responded a day later, only to say that she can "fix it" for no less than $50!!!!! Awful awful awful customer service. Any other place would have owned up to their mistake and actually fixed it. During the service, the stylists were on their phones and chatting away, no wonder the service took so long and came out so badly. After coming to the conclusion that they would only fix it for $50 my best friend and I decided to fix it ourselves and use a boxed L'Oréal dye. It came out exactly the way I wanted...absolutely pathetic how two girls with no experience doing hair could achieve the look but these two stylists who've been working for years could not. Sure enough within minutes, it was a scene out of Edwards Scissorhand and Tony went to town on my hair, all I saw was a blur of my hair and his scissors, (Well most of the blur was due to me not having my glasses on) lol. Ultimately, Tony was right, I did love my new cut. He follows the pictures that you bring in but he kinda does his own thing. He even showed me how to blow dry it to get the most out of the cut. They made us fill out a form for covid related info and then we were taken into the room. We did a couples massage but for covid reasons we were not in the same room - not a big deal. The room was warm and the beds were heated. From the beginning my massage therapist was attentive and paid attention to all of the problem areas. She was thorough and I felt amazing afterwards. I had to wear a mask when I flipped over - which was fine and preferred for me - and she wore a mask and a face shield/goggles so I felt even safer. If you go I highly recommend getting a massage with Linda - she is awesome and gives motivational pep talks too!

All other staff were with other patrons. Additionally, he used a dirty emery board on my skin (not nails), which was of course ineffective. The polish application was sloppy, with excessive bubbling and uneven coverage, resembling a toddler's attempt, with more on my skin than my nails. When I politely asked for corrections, he rubbed the dirty emery board on my painted skin, with no improvement. The massage was practically nonexistent, callouses were barely touched. Eventually, I asked a kind older woman there to fix the mess, and she did what she could to improve it. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed by the service and the quality of the pedicure. Will never return when visiting this area.
