Avocado toast: Rye bread topped with avocado spread, pico de gallo and everything bagel seasoning

First time visiting and would certainly come again. Myself and two friends came for breakfast and left fully satisfied. The portions were just the right size. One friend commented their eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. And the other marveled the blueberry topping they added to their French toast had whole blueberries and not just filling. The avocado toast was on such thick rye bread and the flavors were spot on. Truly delicious! This is a bit of a small place but the servers were very attentive and orders were placed and received in a timely manner. I can certainly see if you plan to dine in you may need to have a bit of patience because if you don't happen to stop in at the right time tables may be full and you have to wait a bit. There is outdoor seating but I'm not sure if that is only to service their walk up ice cream orders or also for dinner and lunch orders. They do seem to have take out as well but I'm uncertain if it's coffee and breakfast sandwiches only or if you could get a full meal to go. The decor was tastefully minimal and featured semi rustic wood with bird and lake motifs. Being mostly wood and the indoor area mostly full at the time of visiting was a bit noisy. Not a deterrent but something to keep in mind. Definitely check hours before you go as of the time of writing this the times they offer full breakfast or lunch or just to go breakfast varies. But a great breakfast spot and possibly a great ice cream option too!

This place was the perfect place we were looking for to stop on our way to my husband's brothers house in Rochester. My husband and I ended up both ordering the "Jackie B" wrap and it was delicious! A group next to us had ordered a rice bowl and that also looked amazing! Whats really nice is they have a cute outdoor patio to sit and you can bring your pup - which was super convenient for us. The service was wonderful and our waiter was super friendly. I highly recommend getting their sweet potato fries and ask for honey to dip it in- they are AMAZING. I definitely plan on coming back when we go out to visit his brother another time!

Atmosphere, food and service are all 10s! Had tilapia tacos and steak tostados. Food was high quality and fresh. Sorry I forgot to take photos before we dug in. More of a bistro menu. Hoping to go back for dinner sometime.

Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.

Once inside, the restaurant has a nice little cozy feel. The place was PACKED, but we must have just walked in at the right time, being seated instantly. Our waitress was over within a minute or two, and took our drink orders. And a couple minutes after that, we were able to put in our food orders. I ordered a hot delight omelette, with their homemade white toast, and a side of corned beef hash. The omelette was good not great, with a nice hint of spice from the jalapeños. The homemade toast was the star of the show with a nice crisp to it, and a nice buttery flavor. The corned beef hash was not my cup of tea. I am a corned beef hash lover, but I was not a fan of the taste and texture of it here at Patty's. The flavor was really potato forward with not much of a meat flavor to it. My wife ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, which was the start of the show! The gravy had a nice blend of sausage and pepper flavor, while not being too forward with a cream tasting. The biscuits were so warm and fluffy. Overall we had a good time and the staff were very friendly. With my wife and I being local we definitely will be back, probably to try some different foods.

Ok so growing up in this area, we went to the place it was back in the day, Akropolis (I think is how the spelled it back then) Back in the day it was pricey. Fast forward to present day and it's STILL pricey...and pricey for a diner. It is NY after all, but I mean, plenty of diners around that are cheaper. Does that mean I had a bad experience? Nah. Was just shocked at the prices. My plain waffle with butter was like $9. That's just insane to me. Waitress was super nice. She didn't check on us for refills and whatnot tho. So that was unfortunate. Still a nice person. Suuuuper quick in wanting us to order tho and by the time we got there the breakfast rush was definitely over. So It's ok to slow down some, sis lol. It's a good place to check out. Will I rush back there? Nah, probably not. We went bc my friend had to go to Canandaigua for her boyfriend and my mom lives not far from Canandaigua. So my friend picked me up...hence why we chose this place. Definitely worth checking out. People like this place from the reviews I've seen. Again, it's not a bad place at all. Food was definitely good. Just pricier than I expected is all...and again...for a diner. People love diners bc the food is almost always better than "regular" restaurants and the prices are USUALLY cheaper. This place is about or close to the same as a reg restaurant. Thanks for reading, YelpHillyToppers! Cheers!
