My husband and I were out of state for work and stopped by here for dinner. Our waitress was fantastic stopping by our table when needed, but otherwise leaving us be. Which we love! My husband isn't vegan, but he raved about how delicious the food was. The menu was a decent size and not overwhelming when trying to decide what to choose. The chips & cheese were fantastic. The Buffalo Mac Crunchwrap was the oddest and most delicious thing I've had in quite sometime. And don't get me started on the carrot cake. My husband was in love from the first bite. I stopped in on a 6 hour drive from Niagara Falls to Nj. Did my research beforehand as I'm very careful of what I put into my body. I feel compelled to write this review because I had Eden Cafe for the first time last night and I legitimately cannot stop thinking about how good the Buffalo Mac Crunch Wrap tasted. I am not sure what that sauce was but it was SO good! I live 40 minutes away and will probably still make the trek frequently just for that. I didn't love the regular Mac and cheese side but I also didn't hate it. The crunch wrap was toasted perfectly and I honestly think it would be good hot or cold. The Eden Cafe is an incredible find. Although I did take out, the space is charming and comfortable. Unfortunately, here for short time and only got to sample a couple of items. The carrot dog, dressed as The Sassy was delicious. The carrot was perfectly cooked with a subtle smoky flavor. A sturdy bun and fried onion crisps completed the deal. Macaroni salad was old school in flavor and texture. The cauliflower wings were nicely breaded and subtly flavored. The sauce was top shelf. My only regret was only getting there once. Every time I make a trip here, I am always very impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Although the layout was a bit confusing at first (as it's hidden away in the brewery), ordering is still extremely easy, as you can do so at the tables at Eli Fish. The food is so incredibly fresh, and their desserts are positively out of this world. I recommend their cauliflower wings, whether you're vegan or not. I believe the cauliflower is air-fried, and it's coated with breadcrumbs and just enough sauce that you can taste the crispness of the cauliflower without it becoming soggy. Vegan ranch and celery and carrots are given as well. I can't recommend this place enough. It's always fresh, healthy, and delicious. After every meal I look forward to returning again. read more

I feel that because I am not vegan, it is a bit difficult to rate. The shop was nicely decorated and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very fresh. The problem is this is a specialty type of food, and it just wasn't for me taste wise. I do want to make a point to say that it is not because of the chefs ability or his product. The food was very fresh and creative in style, but the taste just wasn't for me. If you are looking to adapt to a vegan lifestyle, I would suggest you give them a try. The menue is very large, and with all the issues a chef has to overcome, creating a menu with no animal products is not an easy task, and I think they did a great job with those parameters. We were in town for the night and I was super excited to see a vegan restaurant! We struggled finding it with just the GPS, the building itself is Eli Fish Brewing Co. and Eden Cafe is back past the bar, where you can just walk right up to the counter and order. The folks who worked there were so nice!! The food was really amazing too, the cauli wings were great but the star was definitely the ranch, I could have eaten that with a spoon. I got the Eden burger and my husband got the beyond sausage and both were delicious. Service was really fast too! Pros: The Buffalo cauliflower wrap was very good, as were the nachos. The waitstaff were friendly. The carrot dogs had a nice flavor. Plus... everything is vegan! Cons: The carrot dogs and the cauliflower wings were too al dente for my taste. The menu was confusing, the restaurant itself is hard to find, the food took a long time to prepare, and the air temperature in the building was too cold for comfort. The Eden Cafe is hidden-away inside the Eli Fish Brewery. You probably won't find it unless you ask a waitperson. A single, confusing menu incorporates items from Eden Cafe, as well as from another, decidedly non-vegan restaurant that's housed inside the same building. Also, the dim lighting and the small font make for a difficult read. Our nacho appetizer was excellent, though I wish it had come with some salsa. The cauliflower wings were OK but were under-cooked, in my opinion. The carrot dogs had a very nice, smoky flavor from the marinade, and the buns were outstanding. The carrot dogs themselves were under-cooked, as well -- just a bit too crunchy for my taste. My wife enjoyed the Eli Fish beer that she ordered. I never thought I'd like a carrot dog. Never. I don't really like carrots and especially cooked ones. But that carrot dog is seriously wow. No, it doesn't suddenly taste like sausage, you know that it's a carrot. But it's gooood. An awesome alternative to a hot dog . Kudos to Judy, the owner. We also got cauli wings. They are good, but cauli is rather heavy and very filling. So it's not my favorite in general even though the wings are good. I really hope this place stays. The staff is very nice and friendly. So I've come to appreciate an entire menu which consists of food that is not only attuned to the veg diet, it is also fantastically craveable. My go-to the the Southwest crunch wrap, but everything is good! It's a little confusing for the first timer. but just walk into Eli Fish's and head toward the back like you own the place. Saw them at the VegFest in Rochester and also visited them at the cafe. The food is excellent. I had the veggie bacon wrap at the fest and usually mass produced food is not so great but this was the best thing I ate at the fest. At the cafe we ordered nachos and straight up carrot dogs. The nachos were awesome. I love that red quinoa was used in place of animal products. What a great idea. The carrot dogs were cooked to perfection. The venue is great - just go in through the Eli Fish Brewery and keep walking. They are towards the back on the left. Place your order, grab a table, the food will be brought to you. You can order drinks from a waitress or the bar if you like. It's huge in there so bring the whole family and friends. The venue has a bean bag toss game - random but fun. Only two things hold this place back and I'm sure they can easily fix it: You expect a 'dog' to be ready in 5 minutes especially if it's not busy. But these take a while. Ironically the nachos, which you would expect could be thrown together in less than 5 minutes if it's not busy, took even longer and came out after the carrot dogs. Nachos should always come out before the main meal. It would have been nice to eat those with my beer which would have been warm if I had waited. That said, wow. The food was absolutely delish. I loved this place! It's kind of like a pop-up within Eli Fish Brewery. You sit at the regular tables and go up to the window to order your food. We are a family of four and ordered a carrot dog, the nacho plate, the buffalo cauliflower, and one of each of the available desserts. There are also kids meals available for $4 (definitely a good deal given that these were huge!). Everything was really good. Someone on yelp commented that the food lacked flavor but That was nowhere near our experience. As a bonus, plenty of room for the kids to wander as the brewery is huge and has a bunch of outdoor games inside. It's noisy too so the kids weren't a bother. I live 40 minutes away but could make an argument to cycle this into our weekly routine. Excellent food! read more
