So I had a Philly cheesesteak with fries and the manager actually was super excited to actually make mine because he was ringing us out and he said he was going to create a masterpiece. It was very good and my kids also ordered chicken fingers and fries and cheeseburgers and fries we all had milkshakes. They were very sweet to us. If you have kids, especially younger toddlers, this is definitely a trip you should take to break up your days on the lake. For $20 to get unlimited access to mini golf, the batting cages and go karts is enough time to completely wear out your little ones. The indoor arcade is nice to beat the heat during the summer, and I likely would never advise the ball pit because it seems gross, but if that's your thing, they have that too! We also took a little stop over at the restaurant, which has a nice selection of bowling alley, food, but it was definitely enjoyable. The staff at both establishments are super nice and helpful. We showed up & no one was at the front desk for us to pay. We finally ended up just leaving a $20 with a note on the desk - "Mini golf for 2 people, keep the change." Its $15 for 2 people. Then, on all of the holes with pipes the balls got stuck & someone had to come out to leaf blow the pipe. When he did, 7 balls came out of the hole with leaves and debris. The course is in pretty bad disarray & needs a face lift BAD! This is the first mini golf course I will never go back to again. read more

Man I loved places like this when I was a kid. I didn't have time to do the mini golf or the go carts, but I did play some skee ball and air hokey. I got enough tickets to purchase me and my friends some temporary tattoos. What I noticed was that the teenager working there came running over attentively to take my tickets so I could get a prize, AND he laughed at my lame jokes. That's some good work ethic! Edited to add: I forgot we ordered food here! And I thought the food was surprisingly good - particularly the ribs! They meat was tender, and it seemed like they used a wet sauce with a dry seasoning rub over it. The sauce wasn't too heavy on the vinegar which I like. Our group of six came here for minigolf, batting cages and ice cream. The mini golf course is harder than most but fun. Some areas of the course need maintenance. The batting cages are cheap, ours ran out of balls but they reloaded it quickly. good ice cream. great location. read more

This is a fun little restaurant that has both indoor & outdoor seating. We got cheeseburgers, fries, & drinks. The service was friendly & the food came in a normal time frame. I have been coming to Minnehans for over 20 years and it's now a place that I love to bring my son. We are sure to make the best out of our time when we visit and usually get food (I love the burgers), ride the go-karts and then get ice cream afterwards. It's super family friendly that I was even able to have my 3 1/2 year old ride in a double go-kart with me. He had such a blast and I did too! Our most recent venture here was last night with the family. It's a great spot for fun for the whole family. When you grab ice cream while you're here be sure to get an Oreo blizzard. Not impressed at all, We came here yesterday for my sons birthday and spent $20 on games hit the jackpot on 2 different games 1,000 tickets on 1 and 550 on the other and still had half our coins left. When we went to get his prizes they said he had 1,900 Tickets.. I knew there was no way. They use a bucket and scale to "weigh" the tickets to tell you how many you have.. Super flawed system. We came back today I spent $15, kept track of each win and total of tickets myself counted twice. Plus an awesome couple who must of been on a date gave my son 200 tickets to add to ours, totaling 962 tickets. They credited us for 730... and the prizes aren't even good to begin with! I told the guy I hand counted them and know there was more, he said "to bad" "tickets are already disposed of!" Cool, whelp I now know to only spend money on there ice cream and possibly food, which was all reasonably priced but if you go here skip the arcade you won't get what you paid for, not in tickets or prizes! read more

The wife and went their on July 21, 2022. We have been eating here for years. Minnehan's you blew it this time. I'm not happy. My wife's cheeseburger was burnt and the fried mushrooms were bad enough she didn't eat them. I ordered the special Fired bologna that's listed with fried onions, cheese, and peppers for $4.99 with some fires. I got a slice of bologna burnt on one side, partly cooked on the other and NO TOPPINGS! Just a slice of bologna on what was supposed to be a hard roll. The fries just sucked. I ordered coffee and it was cold in the first pot I tried but hot in the other. Just to top it off the young lady at the counter shorted me on my change. Apparently the staff there can't cook or count. We won't be back. read more

I've been here for food, ice cream, and mini golf. The food is decent but not great. Burgers are rather small, and the chicken sandwiches are a bit dry. Still okay in a pinch and a step up from typical fast food. Atmosphere is cozy and the place is typically clean. They have a good selection of ice creams, and it's served both inside and there is an outside window available to order from when the weather's good. The mini golf course is challenging and quite large. While it's fun to play here, some of the course is a bit tired, and there are often leaves and branches on some of the greens. All in all, this is a great family stop. Aside from golf they also have go-karts and batting cages. Not much else like this in the Livonia area. read more

I just left my nieces birthday party held at Minnehans Fun Center from 1130-1300 with a significant amount of disappointment. It's December, so all of the outside stuff like go carts, batting cages and mini golf are closed. First, there were no employees anywhere to be seen in the Fun Center itself during the party. The only time I actually saw an employee was when they were locking doors to keep the heat in (illegal, btw). Second, the food inside the restaurant is actually pretty good. This doesn't appear to be the same standard that they deliver to the Fun Center though. We got 4 medium (they might have said they were large) pizzas and 4 pitchers of soda to feed nearly 25 people. The pizza was just barely ok and it wasn't enough. I don't get this... Everyone knows adults don't WANT to be at these types of places, so why wouldn't you at least dole out great food to keep the adults happy? Third, the place is gross. The ball pit was filled with broken, deflated and torn balls. The foam shapes were well worn out. The climbing area is so beat up that it's flat, not steps. And everything has a healthy film of sticky, greasy germs across it. I came home with my kids and made everyone shower. I'm sure, somewhere in that Petri dish of a ball pit is the cure for Ebola. I came here yesterday because I was starving and in hindsight I would have waited the 40 minutes to get back to Rochester, or go to the McDonald's down the street. Food was expensive. $8 for a cheeseburger, fries, and small drink. When the burger came out, it was just cheese on a dry burger. When I asked "where's the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, like in the pictures?" They said, "Yeah, that's the deluxe, you have to ask for it." What in the actual heck man. To the burger: dry patty that tasted reheated. Like, they grilled it in the morning, refrigerated it, pulled it out of a cooler, and slapped it on the grill. The inside was still a little cold. Handful of fries. I say that because I watched the grill cook grab a handful out of the freezer and throw it in the fryer. Best part of the meal was the root beer. Oh also, $7 for mac and cheese that is literally craft mac and cheese in an 8oz cup with some shredded cheese on top. The one star is because there is lots of parking and the staff are all teenagers or seniors working hard. DO NOT GO HERE. I am still angry that this crap took up space in my stomach. read more

Worst value for ice cream I have ever seen. We have been there many times with no complaints. Today however, the girl serving our ice cream had a bad attitude and my wife's hot fudge sundae had barely a cup of ice cream and very little topping. My kiddie cone, which I ordered because they are usually bigger than expected, was barely a 1/2 cup of hard ice cream on a cone !! It was actually too small for a child to enjoy !! This ridiculously small amount of ice cream products were $8.15 !!! They weren't worth $5 !! There is more ice cream in a McDonalds cone than my wife's sundae and twice as much as my cone !! As we got down the road , I realized we should have called her out and asked for a manager, but too late then. I love coming here to play mini golf, its a blast! Its relaxing and quiet. Even with kids running around its still a nice calm setting. I've only ever ordered French Fry's to snack on but they were always hot and fresh. The ice cream is amazing as well. Went to the arcade area with my grandson and sign on the door said because of the increase of COVID cases masks were required. Went in and none of the employees had on a mask, out of 25-30 people I counted only 5 people were wearing a mask. Went over to the restaurant and ordered a taco salad which sat on a tray while my grandsons order was prepared unfortunately by the time I got my salad it was cold. Very disappointed especially about the masks not being worn at the arcade, people are dying, kids are getting sick. Come one people use your brains, wear a mask. read more

MINI GOLF! GO KARTS! ARCADE! I could only imagine how fantastic this place would seem as a kid. They have just about everything an ADD kid would want even if some of the items would seem odd to them nowadays. The go karts we drove were a bit faster than I remember from when I was younger and on their Indy track (they have 3 total) I could drift the corners and have a pretty good time doing so. Not cheap but I think it was worth a shot. The mini golf course was decently maintained but we played right after a rainstorm and encountered a good amount of puddles and debris on the course. A few dark areas in the turf and the design was a bit heavy on the raised holes for my tastes. The arcade area on the inside of the building was definitely well worn. Carpet was black with neon colours and on the uncleaned side and there was a noticeable smell. We had some fun playing Skee Ball and giving our tickets to a girl who was hoarding them as best she could. No modern games and the air hockey had a tiny puck versus the standard orange puck everyone knows and loves. I don't know if I'd come back but I'm not sorry I took a trip out and enjoyed a bit of nostalgia. read more

They also have a small fun park next to the restaurant as well. For food, Minnehan's menu represents what would find at a typical summertime food joint, with ice cream, burgers, sandwiches, fries, etc. I decided to order a roast beef sandwich on toasted garlic bread, plus a side of fried zucchinis. This restaurant has been around since I was a child. It was my father's favorite restaurant so whenever we visited my grandparents he would go here. I feel like I get to visit with my dad when I go to this restaurant. The family owned restaurant with lots of great ice cream options even though I really have room for ice cream. You could see them putting together the burgers and flatten them out while we ordered. So we know the food is fresh and not frozen. Fun stuff to do besides eating which includes measure golf and go carts. Fun place for the family to get together. read more
