Very nice and spacious coffee shop with some ice cream options as well! They had Cream and Flavored filled Cruffin's as well! I had the cookie and creams one and it didn't disappoint. My latte was super good and the beans def were freshly roasted ! My besttfriends lemonade also was to her liking ! They use premium syrups which also helps made my latte taste even better! The girls working were super sweet! I also loved that they have local art for sale on the walls.
Holy moly the Twix cookie was so good. I can't wait to go back and try other stuff the display was amazing and I could've gotten all of it! My friend had the chocolate cookie sandwich it was amazing also. Um don't forget the ice cream I had one scoop that was so generous coffee almond chip yum!! What seemed like the owner came out and was super friendly and willing to answer all the questions and anything. Super cute lil trendy place you should certainly go try it!!
I noticed that it's more of a coffee shop than a dessert shop since they appear to focus more on coffee. The seasonal pumpkin spice drink was pretty good, but I would go back to try their desserts. On the bright side, it was cozy inside which created the perfect autumn feeling despite the warm outdoor temperatures.
Very good coffee and pastries! I didn't try any of the ice cream but it looked delicious! It's decorated very cute inside and the staff are very friendly. This is a nice place to grab a coffee and get some work done or have a morning brunch with some friends!
I came here for an afternoon coffee on a Saturday and was glad I did! The space is pretty large with plenty of seating. They serve coffee, drinks, ice cream & baked goods. I got a hot latte as well as a chocolate cream pie and a peanut butter oreo brownie. The latte was absolutely perfect. The desserts were very good. I didn't eat them all in one sitting. They were still good when I had them later that night. I would definitely recommend Milkfloat!
TLDR: 5/5- Boss. Food: While the ice cream isn't homemade, (it's from Tillamook Creamery) the flavors and the smooth perfection of a honestly great ice cream make it clear why this local gem chose the creamery's offerings. For me, it does feel a bit like home, since that is the ice cream of my childhood, having grown up in the Pacific Northwest. This return to home seems like it is a theme that Milkfloat leans into. From their subtle nods to local talent and tradition from the art displayed in the walls to the ingredients featured in their offerings, it is clear that they take themselves and their hometown as seriously as I do mine. Service: The folks behind the counter were both lovely to chat with and knowledgeable. The easy conversation made the whole experience better, almost the way that one might imagine a bartender with a willing ear to be from tales of old, but this place was for real. Ambiance: I literally cannot tell you how pleasant the vibes were. I walked in and several folks were playing a game a table near the entrance. Their casual demeanor made it feel like I was walking into a friend's living room (in the best way). I wish that every local coffee shop house or sweet shop could spread this kind of casual and homey feeling to its patrons but this place does it better than most I have visited in the Wichita area. So head on down, get a scoop of my childhood and bask in the friendliness of a neighborhood staple.
Looking for a post sweet treat had us yelping our way around this town. Yelp never disappoints. Obviously, this is not a secret shop. Super busy on the night we visited, but still quick in getting us our orders. Fun, funky decor complete with a Lego wall in the back. Now, I want a Lego wall at home also. A hop and a skip from the Keeper of the Plains, which worked for us, since that's where we ended the night.
Milkfloat! Is the name that caught my eye, and this little coffee/ice cream shop is all that!! I'm not one for coffee shops, because I'm a Starbucks loyal app user, but this spot has tasty coffee cakes and the latte was on point. The 2 behind the counter were friendly and helpful, I did like not being rushed for being a 1st-Timer. The milkshake of the week is Cereal Bowl...and I did see them wheel in the tubs of Tillamook ice-cream, so it's for sure thing for tasting great. This spot is definitely worth your time and effort. ***Flight Attendant approved***
Ordered: Eggnog and Oreo Pie, Strawberry Poptart This was my second and third visit to this cafe. I visited when they first opened a few years back. I'm happy to see the high standards and quality of their pastry/dessert have only improved. On the first visit this trip, I arrived around 7 pm and not many options were available. They closed earlier during the Christmas holidays. The staff recommended the eggnog pie of which I was skeptical about. To my surprise, I ended up eating it all and ordering one to go. * Eggnog - It is a good balance of sweet and savory. I loved you could actually taste the spices. The crust was a mix between crisp and flaky yet delicious. * The Strawberry Poptart and Oreo were both pretty sweet, get milk or water to go with it you'll need it. The presentation is consistently good and the inside is always clean. I love the industrial contemporary, from the brick style walls, overhead pipes to lantern type lights. They have a boardroom style table perfect for small meetings and group gathering, it was in use on both of my visits. It a very chill and relaxing vibes inside. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the remember names and preferences which is always a plus. The items are worth the price. Note to management - have employees sample the products being sold, this way they can provide a better description of taste or texture.
okay am I a total millennial if I told you I found this place on IG first?! . We walked in and IT IS THE VIBE y'all! You're instantly taken aback by the modern chic decor! We were greeted by the sweetest (pun intended) employee who is name possibly Alena? She was sooo kind and patient with us. This place has everything babe! Pop tarts, pies, breakfast (only during a certain time), giant eye cookies (see pics), lattes, milkshakes, ice cream, I gotta stop talking about it bc my mouth is watering . If there one thing I know, it is this: you will regret not stopping by here.
Omg, came from the recommendation from Monarch and so glad I did!!! The young lady that waited on me was patient and was able to explain everything to this newcomer. And with her recommendation I absolutely enjoyed my experience.
Great cappuccinos, delicious dark chocolate butterfinger cookies, and raspberry dream pie! (I also love their brownie pie but it's not currently available as they rotate their treats.) I enjoy the atmosphere and the set up with big long tables up front, medium/small tables in the middle, a window to see their kitchen in the back kind of near the Lego area, and nice staff My only complaint is that when they rotate their treats out, I can't share them with a friend, nor do I know when that particular treat will be back. But maybe that adds to the fun of trying to discover something new knowing it might not be there next time? Tip-Just be sure that if you get a chai to get a lid on ASAP as it's not as hot as their cappuccinos. Also, they do have outlets to charge your device

Love Delano District. Bought cool hats at Hartman Jack and wanted some dessert so stopped in here and great decision. Pop Tarts are the bomb. Also hubby had a chocolate pie a la mode. Cute old brick building. Coffee and teas and they serve breakfast and lunch. What will be back next time in Wichita. read more

Recently moved to apartments close to here and this has become my daily coffee shop. Love the vibe and ambience. Place is so well lit with high ceilings, great to just hangout. Coffee is great. Dessert options are always very tempting. Have tried a few and were great. I only wish they had some savory items to offer along with the sweet ones too to enjoy with the coffee like croissants etc, then it would be perfect! read more

We stopped in about and hour before closing. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of dessert options, but was available looked delicious. We ordered a vanilla ice cream cone and fudge brownie. The ice cream was good, not phenomenal or better than any other ice cream place. The cone was crunchy and kind of hard. The brownie was thick and super rich. Definitely a dessert to share. They have a nice counter available with silverware, napkins and a microwave. They also have books and games available to borrow. The place is very spacious with fun paper lanterns. A fun place for a date night or special occasion. read more

Searching for coffee shop we came across this for dessert and coffee. The dessert case made me want one of each but we settled for the PB pretzel and the oatmeal butterscotch cookie. For the Coffee I ordered vanilla Carmel latte and hubby ordered Chai tea! Desserts were pretty good. Pretzel base was chewy and thought it should have been more crisp. My latte tasted very burnt. We Liked the ambiance and the look of the food but wasn't wowed by any of the items. read more

I visited Milkfloat in July 2019 with family, and loved the experience! The staff were super friendly, and didn't make me feel rushed at all when I was deciding what to order. I ordered the health caramel concrete (with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla), and it was absolutely delicious! I couldn't finish the whole thing, so I took the rest home for later! In addition to concretes, they have a number of dessert items (including cookies, cake, Pop-Tarts, and more). There is parking available on the street outside, but if you're in the area, it is a nice location to walk to! You can also sign up to earn points each time you make a purchase, which add up for future discounts. Overall, I would highly recommend Milkfloat! read more

My family and I were looking for a place to get coffee in Wichita and using the power of Yelp, we found this lovely place. The first thing I noticed about this place was how big the space was and the modern/industrial warehouse atmosphere. The sweets and pastries looked delicious but unfortunately I had already eaten breakfast and only had room for a coffee. I ordered a latte, which was delicious. They use those fruit forward coffee beans that are common these days. They've also got those fancy Japanese coffee gizmos to make cold brew and percolated coffee.It's a great place to bring your family too, they've got games and books to entertain the kiddos and there's plenty of room for them. Next time I'm in Kansas, I'll be sure to come back here and try the Nutella pop tarts. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. read more

Finally made it!!! Yum!! Had the broccoli frittata with sweet potato tots, and a lemon coconut pop tart for later! The staff was very friendly. And there was a crochet club of women in there crocheting and drinking their morning coffee. So it must be the place to go in the Delano district! Good, not amazing. We had a King's Cake, cinnamon "pop tart," brownie à la mode, and red velvet cake. Our favorites were the King's Cake and the brownie (without the ice cream). The red velvet is a very traditional red velvet but the frosting isn't cream cheese frosting, it's cream cheese buttercream. The cinnamon pop tart was just way too sugary. We did not try any beverages. I will say, the staff is friendly and the vibe was really enjoyable. Excited to come back and try some different stuff! Milk Float is a super modern cafe in Wichita! The decor and layout of the cafe is intimate and fun! I highly recommend tourists and locals to stop by to check the cafe out for the atmosphere. The desserts are fun and creative, and personally I think it tastes fairly good however, the items are definitely on the pricey side. Overall, atmosphere, decor, and concept are fun, desserts were good but not making me crave to come back just for the dessert. read more

I finally made it here! I have to start off saying the staff here is exceptionally friendly and courteous. Very down to earth and talkative- which I love and appreciate. I was in a huge hurry which I regret so I'm definitely gonna go back soon to get a better feel and experience. Wasn't able to try one of their drinks which I've heard are amazing. I grabbed the dipped chocolate chip cookie for my daughter and I ordered the Vegan Chocolate pie. Both were huge and shareable! Couldn't finish the pie by myself! Can't wait to go back and try more. read more

What a dope little joint. The staff was great. The atmosphere is wicked modern with exposed brick and open seating style. They even have games for the youths. The coolest part: they have vegan deserts that actually taste good. I ventured with the pineapple upside downcake and it was delicious. If you're in Delano you need to make time to stop in. read more

I would give this place 3.5 stars. The hipster atmosphere is very fun and trendy, and the desserts are so yummy, however the drink selection is seriously lacking and the menu availability is highly variable. Because all the drinks are microbrewed, the wait is usually fairly long but I would say the flavor is worth the wait. I think this place still has a few logistics to work out, but I am happy to see a trendy place offering a unique environment and products in an area that seems to be resistant to break from the norm. Plus, there is plenty of natural light and a few power outlets so it makes for a decent study spot. If you haven't been, I would definitely encourage giving it a try. read more
