Aww dang these donuts are fantastic. I'm happy I don't live near this place. That would be super dangerous. I ordered a dozen, half regular glazed and then a mix of maple (hot fresh). They melt in your mouth, much like that national chain with the "hot light", but these are much more flavorful. Staff was very friendly. I'll probably go here again before I have to go back to Texas. Stopped by the newest donut shop in town after reading some local blogs. While we were late (after 2 pm) for most of the donuts they still had a good selection of donuts to choose from. Let's break down our visit. I didn't get the name of the lady working the counter today. She is very nice & answered every question hubby had about the donuts. She has a really good vibe, definitely a good employee who enjoys her job. Please keep this gem! This location took over the former Taco Tico. There's a lot of room for any crowds so you don't have to cram in between people who are eating in. They have a few tables with comfy looking chairs, a little table for the kids & a foosball table. Like seriously, this brought back fond memories of playing with the cousins growing up. Having looked at the menu, they have something for everyone. They sell various decadent donuts (some are little works of art) but that's not all! They have breakfast sandwiches, sausage in a blanket, a few lunch sandwiches & different boba drinks/smoothies. So basically there's something for everyone. We both chose a sandwich for lunch. Hubby had the ham sandwich on the croissant with lettuce, tomato, cheese & avocado. For sandwiches you can add jalapenos & onions. He said it was good. I chose the turkey croissant with lettuce, tomato, cheese & onion. I loved how light it was even though it's a big sandwich. I appreciated that they used thinly sliced red onion. It's not too overpowering. Not sure what cheese was used but it added a creaminess to the sandwich. The only thing I would change is going from the iceberg to maybe romaine lettuce. Otherwise this sandwich was delicious & I will definitely try one of the other ones next visit. We picked up a strawberry cream croissant. The berries were sliced thin & added the perfect amount of tartness to the light & airiness to the cream. It was a great ending to lunch. We'll definitely be back to try more food! read more

I was given some powdered sugar donut holes and some croutons donut holes. They were both filled with cream and fabulous. I got a cinnamon roll, a chocolate Bavarian cream filled donut, and a chocolate long John. They were all very fresh and delicious. It was hard to make a decision because everything looked so good. They have several types of donuts that were decorated beautifully. The store was redone from other stores and is bright and cheerful. The staff is very awesome! read more

You can pick the long John you want and ask them to fill it with your favorite filling at no extra cost. Keeps the pastry fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Most items are $1.99. You will not find a better Donut Shop anywhere. Their donuts and pastries are amazing. Their cronuts are so addictive. I tell myself every time that I will only eat 1 and then before you know it, I'm on my 4th and covered in flaky cronut goodness. The staff are all super friendly and they seem to enjoy their jobs. They have a real mom and pop donut shop feel to them. I highly recommend you try at least 1 cronut...but I would recommend that you get at least 2 if not 3 per person, otherwise you will find yourself turning back around for more. read more

Crispy Doughnuts is hands down my favorite doughnut shop in Wichita. Everybody is so friendly. They have a large selection. If you like glazed doughnuts, try their Kronuts or Kronut holes. Found this little quaint place via the internet and I can say it did not disappoint! My family and I are visiting from California and had a craving for some good donuts. The service was very friendly and informative and gave good suggestions. The tiny crumble donut puff bites with their homemade filling are addicting!
