Vagabond is a hole in the wall, no frills, dive bar. They have coffee and tea drinks and a full bar. Vagabond does not serve food. The charm of this spot is their $2 mystery beer. This is exactly how it sounds, you pay $2 and receive a mystery can or bottle of beer. Sometimes they have one mystery beer, other times there are several different beers in the mystery selection. There is a patio in the front and back for seating. There are a large amount of games to choose from if you and your party want to play games. There are art pieces on display for sale from local artists. These pieces are rotated periodically, so there is always something new to look at. This is a good place to meet friends or do homework.

I loved this place. Equal parts dive bar and coffee shop, Vagabond Cafe offers the best of both worlds. I stopped by at night not quite knowing what to expect. There's a full bar, tables, and booths. It very much feels like this has long been a bar before a coffee shop. Still, there were baked goods and other light bites available, much like you'd see at any coffee shop. Plus a full menu of all your caffeinated favorites to enjoy alongside books, board games and more. As far as patrons there at midnight on a Wednesday night, the were both those enjoying libations alongside a few sober folks enjoying late night coffee and surfing the internet/working. I fell in love with this place as soon as I took my fantastic house martini from the bar to a booth in the corner to read some Calvin & Hobbes, a book provided at the table. This would be a great spot to work from in the afternoon. You could start off with coffee and end your day with a stiff drink as soon as you're ready to put your laptop away. The world needs more places like the Vagabond Cafe!

Great little sidewalk patio out front.

The Vagabond is one of the only coffee shops I have known that is also a full service bar! It's a great spot to bring your laptop and study or do whatever. There's a great patio out back and in front. It's fun to sit out front and enjoy all the fun and activity happening on Douglas in Delano. They offer a small amount of snacks, like bagels and cookies. My go to drink is an Irish coffee. Gotta love the taste of baileys and Jameson in a coffee. This place has been a great local hangout for years and it will continue to thrive for years to come.

I love this place. It's not without it's quarks, but I just love the vibe. Solid selection of beers and a full bar. Great coffees. Forget the food. They have snacks, but I just pass. Unless it's the occasional muffin in the morning.

If you're big into mixed drinks this is your place. This is mine and my husband's favorite date…read morespot. We love getting a good cocktail and listening to live music. Dockum has both great cocktails, and great entertainment. I really like the atmosphere here every single time. It's dim, it's romantic, it's lively. Our waitress every time has been the same girl and she's fabulous and attentive. Her name is Elvia, shoutout to her! We have our favorite drinks here, but always try something new each time. Never had a bad drink here. Our favorites are: The Last Word, Dizzy Dame, Cinder and Smoke. You can't go wrong with anything you order honestly. We could sit here for a few hours. It's also a speakeasy. It's under ground, you have to knock to get in. Overall it's just a cool vibe for something downtown in Wichita. It is my favorite spot to go. If you are in town visiting or a local, I recommend this place 1000%.

We went to Dockum Speakeasy for the first time with pretty high expectations. The hostess was…read morewonderful and seated us right away at a nice table, which started the evening off well. When our waitress came by, we told her it was our first visit and that we needed a little time with the menu. We ordered drinks, but they came out at odd times--two arrived quickly, while the other two took noticeably longer. My husband ordered a Bijou, which is a unique cocktail, and it seemed to take a while for the bar to figure out how to make it. Still, the drinks were good once they arrived. For food, we tried the burnt ends and the JoJos. The JoJos were excellent--crispy and flavorful--but the burnt ends were disappointing, served a bit cold and lacking in flavor. Things really unraveled with our second round of drinks. Service slowed to a crawl, and we eventually learned that our waitress had been sent home by the manager even though the bar was packed on a Friday night. A young server, only two weeks into the job, was left to take over, and unfortunately, he had no idea what he was doing. Another waitress stopped by to help but admitted she usually works upstairs in the restaurant and didn't know the cocktail menu either. The shift in service quality from the first round of drinks to the second was very jarring. There was live music, but the sound system wasn't great, so it didn't add much to the atmosphere. We did order desserts from the upstairs restaurant, which were a nice finish, but by the end of the night it was clear the staff was overwhelmed. As we left, we even saw the manager outside looking exhausted, which made us feel bad for the whole team. Overall, while the drinks were solid and the JoJos worth trying, the experience was inconsistent and stressful. Maybe we just got caught up in an off night of drama, but I wouldn't recommend Dockum for more than one drink.
