I asked for a table for 6 and our server Mariah led us to a perfectly set table. She immediately served us waters (Yay!) as she handed us the menus and giving us the happy hour specials. Chris and I have been here a couple of times before and it has never changed! It is still very intimate and cozy! I ordered the Grilled Salmon, Chris had the Beef Fajita bowl, Trizha had the Fish Tacos, Jack had the Dive Burger, Noah had the Chicken Piccata and Houston had Mac n Cheese. Everyone raved about their food. My salmon was grilled to perfection and paired well the orzo! Chris liked his Fajita bowl and said he'll order it again! Mariah was awesome! She was very attentive and thoughtful. She brought Trizha a bowl of ice cream with a fountain and made her birthday celebration a little more special. How fun!

The manager did provide me with a 1/2 off appetizer coupon, however, I don't think I'll be back. First, the building is in a cute, interesting area. The inside is kinda blah but it didn't bother me. Now... the menu... it's like a condense Cheesecake Factory menu. From arancini to enchiladas to butter chicken... I think the lack of focus affected the quality of the food. The arancini were so salty they were inedible which was such a bummer because they are pure, classic arancini - it could've been great. I tasted the butter chicken and the spices were not cooked out, at all, however my guest was happy with it. She doesn't eat Indian food, ever, fyi I got the sea bass. The tomato sauce around the dish was SO salty and tasted like campbells soup. The fish and risotto were okay but tainted by the Red Sea surrounding them. Unfortunately there just wasn't any reason to go back. I'll keep checking back at their menu but from the reviews it seems it's mostly stayed the same for like over a decade.

It felt decent out so the outdoor patio was a nice ambiance. No angry geese were included. It seemed as most things on the menu were pretty simple, but simple is good. I had the grilled cheese because who can pass up a good gourmet grilled cheese. While hard to mess up, it was done well and had plenty of cheesy goodness. The desserts looked quite tasty and will have to try them next time!

Our server was friendly and helped us choose our meals. We all ended up ordering the Whiskey Beef Stroganoff, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. Everyone enjoyed it, I thought it could have been a little more favorable. He checked on us regularly and offered to sell us more drinks from the bar, but never refilled our water glasses -- unfortunately, water was my drink of choice that night. For dessert, we shared the Wedding Cake and Crème Brûlée, both of which were excellent. As for the ambiance -- I should have listened to my wife. She warned me that they were having live music, and she was right. It was loud -- uncomfortably so. We struggled to have a conversation, and even saw another couple order drinks, pay, and leave because of the volume. Lesson learned. Would we return? Yes, but not on a live music night. Pro tips for servers: keep water glasses full and clear plates after the meal. Miss one of those, and your tip might reflect it.

Ambiance is okay, I guess.. dated a bit and weird with the place mats... makes it seem cheaper than the bill was. We went at 5pm on a Monday - it was pretty empty which was perfect. Didn't start to fill up until we left around 7ish. You do have to pay for parking but there's a garage on the block and I think my ticket was like 3 bucks. First we ordered the baba ghanoush... as you can see in the picture it is not very appetizing looking but the issue was it was SO bland! I'm an eggplant fiend and it tasted like water almost. We sent it back and got the charcuterie board... meh. It was fine, I guess. Don't recommend. The sauce in the middle is sweet? Just not my taste. I wanted to order the salmon by three (annoying it's impossible to find a picture of the dish online, if it's anything like everything else we got it probably wasn't good)... they weren't able to get fresh sushi grade salmon or the roe so they had an impromptu dish offering- salmon with fettuccine in a caper sauce topped with fried ham... it was SO salty! The salmon was dry. It was a good sounding dish just poor execution. Desert we got the raspberry emerald tart, against our better judgement as we hadn't had anything tasty yet, and it was so cold and not fresh that it tasted like nothing. The pistachio cream had fully soaked into the crust. It was just a miss, it was careless. That pretty much describes the whole meal (except the servers!) - the chef did not seem to care at all. Very disappointed, will not be back.

Had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and I personally found it better than KVH. The desserts this time were great, not too sweet, just right. The shrimp appetizer sauce tasted like your standard Thai sweet and spicy. It was okay, but not on par with the other food.

We sat at the bar with one other couple on a Sunday, not busy to all. The service was poor and inattentive. Didn't even get offered dessert before we were presented with our bill. First, you get bread, butter, and salt. It's quite good! And it seemed like you could get more if you wanted. The appetizer we got was the wood oven roasted feta.. WOW. First, I know a lot of people don't like feta much but this tasted nothing like feta. It was like that super duper cheese taste on cheap pizza... spectacular. The mushrooms weren't really picked but still good, loved the pesto.. I didn't use the flat bread but it was great on the bread I mentioned above! I wasn't expecting this to be so good, it's crave-able. Heard the steak was good, they also got the loaded baked potato.. no complaints. I got the salmon and it was also way better than I was expecting. The beans?? Woah, they are so much more than just beans. They're so savory with bacon and spinach. I couldn't figure out what the yellow sauce was but it added a nice bright note. The beans were the star but the salmon was also good- the fried capers are a nice touch. It was seared super hard and a little overcooked but I didn't give a temperature so I shall next time. Overall this place is great. Totally worth the price although pricey. My bill was for the salmon and I got a dumb fancy water I regret but after tip it was $75. The steak and appetizer plus a soda was $90ish. So, yeah, $$$ but great vibe, great food, great service. Added to the list of go to places for sure!
