Knowing a potential answer was "really bad." Instead, there were five musicians, playing the guitarist's tunes and/or arrangements, listening to each other, playing as a unit, and improvising capably. The drinks were not bad. And there was one table of blockheads jabbering over the music. All in all, a nice experience.

They had live music tonight and the band Candice & The Biz Casuals were playing and they were AMAZING. This lounge has plenty of seats, upstairs and downstairs. The waiter greeted us as soon as we sat. We got four drinks and they were all really good. I came specifically for the Banana Hammock, but they were out of coconut rum! Which took like 3 drinks away I wanted to taste. No big deal though! It's a reason to come back. Every drink came out perfectly and timely. The pink panther was the drink of the night and the summer cocktail, Mango of my Dreams. I really loved the vibe and environment here. It felt warm and welcoming and vibrant and fun! We were down the street at another bar and we have always wanted to check this place out…read more Positives: Live music, cool venue inside, tons of seating options, inside and outside options, decent drinks with good prices. Less positive: Door cover charge (this could have been because of the live band? Not sure if there's always a cover) $10 each, not terrible. They have drinks online that look great, but none of the bartenders knew how to make them and they seemed confused when we showed them the online menu we were ordering from. There are no menus anywhere but online. We did find food menus but no drink menus so that's why we pulled the online one. For a cocktail lounge, I assume they have mixed drinks they create beyond your traditional cocktails. So it was a bummer no one knew the menu. So we just ordered traditional cocktails. Our bartender was great all night and our drinks tasted good and the bill was low. The live band was great and there was a dance floor for some two step. Everyone seemed to be having fun and we really enjoyed our time here. We are going to come back when there isn't a live band to see how it is and if there is no cover, so I'll update my review then. Overall 8/10 experience. I think if they just had mixed drinks for cocktail lounge it would be 10/10

From their facebook and the article I got the vibe it was a Cocktail Lounge/Bar with live music etc. We came on a Friday night, there was a good amount of people in the bar. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits enjoying their drinks. We sat at the bar and the bartender Julian helped us. He was very friendly and approachable. I order the Suga Suga How You Get So Fly (it is an espresso martini with a cinnamon rim and a brown sugar syrup) my husband got the Mr. M Berry. Unfortunately I did not like my drink, I drank my husband's drink. His drink was good. Mine tasted very syrupy and artificial in flavor. We decided to stay for one more drink to leave on a good note. I ordered a Tequila Old Fashion (not on the menu) and my husband got Moxie's 4x4. These were a lot better than our first drink. For my old fashion it was very thick and syrupy, but I let the ice melt for a while and it was a better texture. I plan on coming back with some girlfriends and maybe trying some new drinks. As well I think I would like when they have live music more. They were playing really loud club music. Rap and R&B. Don't get me wrong I like that music. But not at a Cocktail Lounge Bar. I was hoping for something a little more relaxing and sensual. Dimmer lights and music to match that vibe. I know it's new so maybe they are still trying to adjust the overall aesthetic. Overall it was a 4/5 maybe a 3.5/5. I will give a more updated review my second time around with the live music and other drinks. Bartender and service: 5/5 Prices are reasonable. Bar is clean and well kept. Menu: 1/5. They are hard to read and flip pages.

We try to check out a new place during each trip and wound up back at river city brewery. However! There was great live music coming from across the parking lot. Taking a closer look, we thought... cigar bar? Let's check it out. And I am glad we did! Mort's has such a great atmosphere! The girls working here are so cute, friendly and helpful! My partner is a cigar smoker but it was my first time. We opted for the Havana Honey, which was a smaller cigar. Our server got us all set up and that choice was pretty good! I now see the hype. They have a large drink menu but I stuck with a Michelob Ultra. We came back the next day and Sundays was $1 off drafts so we did the same thing again. The live music was great. Mort's has live music EVERY DAY! I love bars with live music and the fact that they have it every day is a reason we went back the next day. I can't wait for our next trip back to Wichita because we will definitely be heading to Mort's again!

Our small group of 3 already bought 8 drinks and been there for maybe an hour and they told us we need to leave because they have a reservation coming in... When we got up there were 4 booths empty, and all the small tables were empty and half the bar.... I think they told us to leave because it was like 30 mins since we ordered our last drink. Or they didn't want us there and made up an excuse. Either way... weird. I've stayed here before for a long time and bought less drinks and wasn't asked to leave. It was dead inside at 1030PM. Confusing. Other tables were there just as long as us but weren't asked to leave? Tough. Because we come here a lot not sure if I want to come back
