Adorable little shop in Wichita with a solid menu of bakery and ice cream items. Fair prices, friendly staff, and everything looked delicious! We all enjoyed the ice cream. One said "that was the coffee-est coffee ice cream I've ever had!" The nectarine sorbet was amazing, and I don't generally care for sorbet. Overall it was a nice escape from the heat. read more

Delicious locally owned ice cream and dessert shop. Our family came across it by accident after eating lunch at The Belmont. They have unique, fun ice cream flavors and you can do flights of 3 or 6 flavors. We also tried the lemon and chocolate crinkle cookies that were just as delicious as the ice cream. Homemade at its finest. Frost is next to a frozen custard place and still doing a business with their artisan ice cream, sorbet and desserts. That really says something. Don't miss the chocolate cake. Moist and rich with a yummy fudge frosting. You won't want to share! read more

The Good: all made from scratch (except the ice cream) and fantastically fresh. The Bad: a bit expensive, but the quality makes it worth it. Bottom line: great dessert in an old building (which was apparently a pediatrician's office) where the folks working are invested in the whole process of their food. read more

This is the second time I've been here and I probably won't be back after this visit. Honestly, we should have turned around and walked out. My husband took me on a date and we went for ice cream after, he wanted to try Frost. We walked in the front door and were immediately hit with the smell of feces. It was horrendous. I thought maybe someone had used the bathroom and it was airing out, but we had our ice cream in the building thinking the smell would subside, and it only grew stronger. The smell overpowered the ice cream. It was awful. I love supporting small businesses, but in this case we'll just go next door to Andy's next time. There was also an employee working with extremely long armpit hair, and a tank top, scooping ice cream. Just very unsanitary conditions. read more

Bought a dozen cookies, an oatmeal crème pie, a brownie, and a blondie. The cookies were snickerdoodle, chocolate crinkle, and some kind of salty chocolate chip. All were very very good. This is the cutest little hole in the wall shop. I called ahead to see if I could purchase a whole cherry pie, unfortunately they only keep them in the tine they bake in, so instead of a whole pie I used my self control and brought home 5 slices. I should've gotten more! The cherry berry pie is INCREDIBLE! And to top it off, I got an oatmeal cream pie to go to and it was absolutely delicious. I will be back!! read more

Donuts are pretty low on my sweet list. That being said, Frost puts out a decent product but I think they should be eaten fresh. My current favorite is the chocolate cake and chocolate cake popsThe candy is in little bits and softened a bit by the moisture of the donut. I'm also a fan of the crullers (chocolate and maple) and the froissants. I like the airiness that contrasts the typical density of the donuts. A little puff of pastry topped with yummy chocolate, maple, or even white chocolate strawberry. The maple bacon bar has a good amount of bacon on it and pairs well with the maple icing. The staff members are funny and conversational and above all, patient when customers like me can't quite decide which delectable flavors to try. read more

Absolutely loved my experience at Frost! I tried several flavors--coffee, dark chocolate, mint, and Ube--and each one was outstanding. The coffee was rich and smooth, the dark chocolate had a bold, intense cocoa flavor without being overly sweet, and the mint was perfectly refreshing. I'm not normally a huge Ube fan but it was good too. And don't miss the brownie--it was incredible! Deep, dark cocoa taste, just the right texture, and not too sweet. It's so hard to pick a favorite thing at Frost because everything is so dang good. I've never had better chocolate cake, and the ice cream is out of this world. Also, don't leave without trying the oatmeal cream pies! read more

I'm not sure what kind of cake balls he picked up but I can say that my daughter & hubs liked them. They would recommend these in any flavor. Hubs had a cookie dough cupcake that he enjoyed & especially liked the surprise in the center which appeared to be a little cookie dough. He said it was good & not too sweet. I had a carrot cake something. I'm sure it's probably called a cupcake but for me it was more like a little muffin with a ton of frosting on top. While it's a little sweet it's not overwhelming. If you are the type of person who takes the top off of the cupcake to flip it upside down & eat it like a little sandwich, this will not work. I tried but the size is wrong. I love carrot cake & this didn't disappoint other than wishing it was a little bigger. We'll be back again when the sweet tooth hits to give some other stuff a try.

They have a few really good flavors like peanut butter but I went with the strawberry. I grew up going to my grandma's house every weekend it seems. We'd be kinda bored watching her shows until the golden hour came around. That's right, I grew up watching the Golden Girls with my grandma and her roommate. That show started my love of cheesecake. I've had a lot of cheesecake over the years from restaurants as well as homemade, but I had never had cheesecake to go. This is a great concept! It's portable and not too much to where you start to rethink your choices in life. I've had a few of those where I found the cheesecake to be too dense. This was anything but! It's a lot but it's not overwhelming. I love the strawberries being cut into bite sized pieces. It's a lot but you're not left with just plain cheesecake after a few bites. The graham crumbles work perfectly, giving you some crunch in every bite. The cheesecake part is perfectly chilled and not at all too dense. It was delicious and absolutely perfect. If they sold these at events around town I think they would do really well. I will definitely be by again and will bring the kids along. I honestly wish this business the best of luck and many years of success. If you love cheesecake I suggest you stop by and grab you a cup of love. Well done!
