This is my go to spot after having pho next door. I've never had a drink I did not like here. The large size is 32 ounces. Last time I ordered a large and didn't realize how big it was. My favorite drink here is the Pinky Lychee. Highly recommend!
10/10 . We both loooved our drinks and wish there were more locations. The service was very quick and efficient. And even though we're here for just a few days, we are DEFINITELY coming back to get more of the menu

Boba places are popping up all over town and the main quality I look for when it comes to these types of establishments is the quality of the boba. Some places don't know how to cook boba correctly, so, they end up tasting funky or they are too hard or too soft. Milk Run has the science of cooking boba down! It's soft and has the right chew. Its got a nice flavor and they give a gracious amount per drink. I'm also impressed by their matcha quality. After I stirred my Matcha Milk Tea, its color was still a bold green which a lovely switch-up the common diluted matcha drink. 5 Stars!!!! Just know, PARKING SUCKS ON WEEKENDS!
Have been here a few times over the years; usually not a thai tea drinker, but I like to go here for it. A little too sweet for me this time. I remember the thai tea ice cream also being pretty great. Drinks were served quickly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
I didn't give them a 5 because they didn't greet us and the boba wasn't anything special. We had the sunset with crystal boba and the brown sugar milk tea with boba. It did come out really quickly I just don't think I'd make a special trip out for this. The prices are reasonable and we did like the layers in our drinks!
Stopped by on a Thursday evening craving something sweet and opted for their ice cream made in house, specifically a single scoop of Cookie Monster. The ice cream was dense but soft and creamy, which I found to be PERFECT! I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture of my cup, which I found to be a perfect portion size for single scoop-- not too big or too small. They offer an impressive variety of flavors, shown in my photo. Their overall menu is also impressively large. I am excited to come back for a casual friend hangout and try out more ice cream, milk tea, or blended drinks!
It was just alright in my opinion . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very crowded parking lot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] , good options , maybe I ordered the wrong thing with taro ( I thought I was a safe choice ?) . My boyfriend got Nutella milk tea and it just tastes like thick chocolate milk ? I don't know . Likely won't be back :/

Great reliable boba place! It's attached to the restaurant Pho Thanh, perfect for a sweet treat after dinner. Their vietnamese sea salt coffee is one of my fave viet coffees in the valley. The thai tea is really good too. I came in today and ordered both of these. Accidentally spilled my drink :/ but one of the girls who works here cleaned it all up for us and was kind enough to give us a new thai tea. She really didn't have to do that so thank you for amazing service!
The milkiest and tastiest Thai Tea in town! Also, a big plus it's that it is right next door to Pho Thanh so we took advantage and while we were waiting for our pho we went to get our drinks and enjoyed them alongside our food. It is super convenient for them to be neighbors, you must try both!

The ice cream here is soooooooooo good and creamy. You can't go wrong with any of them. My favorites are viet coffee and matcha. Their Thai ice tea and taro flavors are also yummy. If you can't decide what flavor to get you can ask for a sample before you buy it. If you collect pins they have this cute little matcha float pin for $3.50. read more
Really good boba, but like most reviewers find - they do run sweet. My husband and I always order 50% sweetness everywhere we go and found this to be in the higher range. I think ideally 30-40% sweetness would be the same as 50% elsewhere. Boba was soft and chewy in drinks and also did the lychee jelly. I ordered the Passion Fruit Sparkler which was amazing and something you don't see everywhere. If you love passion fruit, I couldn't recommend it more. My husband went with the Classic Milk tea which he said was very good. Prices were comparable to other places and they have a five star points program. We also recommend ordering 50% ice, because we find there is a lot of ice in these drinks and unless it's 100 plus degrees you're going to be disappointed. Location was pretty busy for a holiday and it took a few minutes for the drink to be made. Parking was a nightmare and about the biggest pitfall of this location. read more
It was worth the drive to discover this gem. Tucked away in a tiny strip mall, the place was hopping with customers! They have ice cream as well as smoothies, slushies, milk teas, bubble tea. The strawberry lychee slushie was full of flavor and the large size is truly large. The matcha was hand whipped before it was layered on top of the milk. So beautiful! The boba was warm, chewy and cooked all the way through. We'll definitely be back! read more

Love this place. Been coming here for a while now, always have to stop here when I'm in the valley. I always get the Thai tea iced coffee but wanted to try something new. Got the Vietnamese coffee float today, so good!friendly staff, and always fast service. They have good portions and everything I've tried so far is great. Kind of hidden but always recommending this place to everyone. read more

Spending a week here in Phoenix Arizona for work. I was craving for Bubbletea since it was like 88 degrees right when I got here compare to 52 degrees back in Seattle. I was not impressed with their milk tea here. If you are used to amazing delicious Bubbletea from California or elsewhere, you will be sorely disappointed here. I had high hopes of finding a good boba place in Arizona, but I was really let down. Maybe this place just isn't meant for milk teas but slushes or milk tea float. It's cool that they have a flower wall here and it was definitely instagrammable. I probably wouldn't come back again read more
This place by far the best boba shop in my neighborhood. They give you so many options, from milk teas to sparklers and sushies. They also are a creamery and make thier own ice cream flavors. Talk about AMAZING!! The shop is definitely Instagram worthy in decorating. So kick back a enjoy and capture that perfect photo to share. I do need to mention the weekends are busy and the small parking lot doesn't accommodate the crowd which is a downside. Space in the shop can be limited as well. Don't let this deter you from the tastyness. The split cup is such a clever idea for those of us the have a tough decision of choosing one option. My man got Nutella and Taro. I had community and economic development project a few years back on the camelback corridor. The only gem in this area was PhoThanh and the super authentic Vietnamese grocer. When Milk Run opened next door I was pleasantly surprised. This shop brought up the whole corner. During my time there they made it very easy to stop in every other day and sometimes daily. My fave is the black milk tea w/ boba but I started branching out to their asian themed ice creams. (Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, taro, great tea, etc.) the fruit bobas and the double sided cups allow for optimum flavor sampling. The owners are young entrepreneurs and the whole store is an Instagram opportunity with its many backgrounds. I love this place and use it for meetings on the corridor. read more

One classic milk tea + honey vanilla ice cream float and one thai tea + thai tea ice cream float to go after pho next door...hit the spot! Service was fast & friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find this cute little boba place in Phoenix. It's got nice decor and an inviting ambiance to take a respite from the hot weather and enjoy a milk tea or perhaps some matcha ice-cream. The menu has a good variety of items ranging from slushies to coffee to milk tea floats. Service was fast and friendly. The milk tea and ice-cream I got were both very good. Next time I'm in the Phoenix area I will be sure to visit again. read more

This place is probably one of my favorite boba spots, ever, and I am a total boba connoisseur. Their milk tea was so creamy with the perfect amount of tea strongness and flavor. My mom got the sesame and matcha ice creams and they were so smooth and the black sesame reminded me of my childhood trips to Taiwan. The clerk was a really cheery and peppy lady and she was just friendly and welcoming overall. I loved this place, and because I'm not from Arizona, when we are back this will be our number 1 boba and ice cream spot. read more
Stopped by here for a break while crossing town and I was very impressed that they had durian on their menu. Of course I had to get it because where else will I encounter durian drinks/frozen dessert in AZ? As I waited anxiously for my durian smoothie, I was worried that it might be diluted/watered down flavor. When I received it, I was pleasantly surprised by the odor seeping through the small opening on the lid. Taste test---the durian smoothie had strong and distinct durian flavor and smell I'm glad I now know of this place for frozen durian treat fixes. read more

What a Gem!! I give it 5 stars for the Taro float and the sugarcane juice we got. They also make their own ice cream. We haven't tried everything on their menu (hence the 4 stars) but we will be certainly be going back for more. Don't miss this place - It's delicious and worth the trip!! Update - 5 stars!! This place has become a family favorite. Not only is it instagram worthy, but the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. My go-to is the Thai Iced Tea Float. My younger siblings prefer the taro drinks (though this drink is always on the sweeter side). If you're looking for a cool, new place to grab a drink and snap a couple pictures, this is your place! The inside of the store is relatively small, though, so beware that during rushes it is not always the most pleasant environment. The area also isn't particularly great, but I have never had an issue - except for when it comes to parking! read more

The service was fast and the atmosphere was also warm and friendly! I got the coconut special smoothie and it was incredible, all the employees are so nice too along with the creative tip jars they have. The Smiskis were also a nice touch and they're so cutesy, the elf drinking boba made me giggle too so I definitely recommend coming here. read more

I got the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Tea, substituted the milk with oat milk. First sip, terrible just pure syrup even after mixing it around for a few minutes. After I finally mixed everything it was better, but still too sweet for my taste. I couldn't help but feel like I was drinking straight syrup. The boba itself was good, sweet and soft. I've come many times for the Coconut Special Smoothie with boba, (Coconut water, exotic fruit bits, jackfruit, lychee, etc.) and it's always so good. Super refreshing! I love that they use coconut water as opposed to coconut puree which is normally filled with sugar. read more
This is an occasional stop for me when I am on my way to work in Phoenix. It's located next door to the Pho Thanh restaurant on Camelback Rd. We have a ton of boba shops here in AZ and I'm definitely no expert on who's the best. But I've always enjoyed my stops here. Milk Run has your iced teas, carbonated drinks, milk teas, and smoothies. They also make a pretty good Vietnamese coffee. Milk Run has a little fun with their boba by offering boba floats. These are their milk teas with a scoop of their housemade ice cream on top. I personally haven't tried one but they look yummy. There is always a decent crowd here and the staff is pretty friendly. I've been eying that jackfruit smoothie for some time and hope to try it next. read more

Ok so this might've been the best Thai tea ice cream I've ever had. The Vietnamese coffee and taro ice cream were terrific also. I also had a Nutella milk tea and my goodness it was awesome. Came here on a whim with a friend. Parking was ample and the place is fairly clean-ish. Service is quick and the drinks are good. I got the PASSION FRUIT SPARKLER, which is made with real passion fruit along with edible seeds and club soda. It was very refreshing and had a great combo of tart and sweet. I added CRYSTAL BOBA, which added a nice smooth chewy texture to the crunchy seeds. I would order this drink again. I would definitely come back and try other drinks on their menu when I'm back in the area. Definitely a place to go to if you're in the area. read more
Milk run has a vibrant menu of beverages that quench your thirst! I most enjoy their milk tea and Arizona sunset with lychee. The drinks are a little pricy, but they are crafted to your liking. The ice cream is also delicious! One fun drink is the mangonada (very sweet, enjoyed the tamarind). The staff are friendly, but the service can be a little slow depending on how busy they are. During covid, I get a little nervous because the space is small and it's a little difficult to social distance while waiting in line or waiting for your drink... Parking can be a bit limited in this shopping center. The drinks are very satisfying though! read more
AZ sunset- mango flavor shines through! This drink is prettier than me. Added popping boba in mango flavor. Thai Tea float with honey boba- so delicious and creamy. Put the honey ice cream on top and was a great dessert drink! Can't wait to come back and try the coffee drinks! read more

Overall 3.5stars, and so far the most decent milk tea place I've found in Phoenix. I like Milk Run's variety of options, including some pretty creative drinks such as AZ Sunset and their milk tea floats. Prices are a bit on the high side, and service can be hit or miss. Sometimes the ordering will go really smoothly, and other times it'll be painstakingly slow with incorrect customizations. The inside is comfortably decorated and bright, and there is a small parking lot on the outside that can fill up quickly at peak hours. I do think the honey boba here is pretty good, and I generally don't like pearls and prefer grass jelly or other toppings. They can be a tad over cooked sometimes, but the honey flavor really comes through, and I would rather have slightly softer than too hard. Milk teas: The classic milk tea has good flavor with a pretty strong tea taste. The tea isn't watered down, and it pairs well with the honey boba. The jasmine milk tea has good flavor, but the milk almost outweighs the delicate floral taste of the tea, which makes it taste watered down. I think the honey boba taste overwhelms the jasmine milk tea taste even more, so I usually just get this tea just by itself. The Thai tea is robust and strong, and it also pairs well with the honey boba. Would recommend half sugar and less ice (I do like my teas less sweet though so if you usually like your drinks regular sweetness, go with the usual). The Nutella milk tea wasn't for me.. it was deathly sweet, although the Nutella did come through nicely. Milk tea floats: These milk teas come with a scoop of ice cream on top. I like the matcha one because the matcha ice cream actually enhances the flavor, and the Thai tea one isn't bad either. Milk Run offers some interesting flavors of ice cream, including taro and sriracha (!) which I haven't personally tried, but I appreciate the option. AZ Sunset and Passionfruit Sparkler: I wasn't a fan of these specialty drinks, although I liked the passionfruit one more. AZ Sunset was definitely instagram-worthy, but the taste was rather flat and I didn't get too much of the blueberry. The passionfruit sparkler comes with real passionfruit, which was fantastic, but I couldn't taste much else and the drink itself came with 75% ice. Chances are I'll be back to Milk Run for a close-by milk tea fix, but if I have the option, I may trek a little farther outside Phoenix. read more

This is my favorite boba place in the area by far! The service is great, the people in there are so sweet and make our drinks quickly. The area is well decorated and aesthetically pleasing. My only wish is that they were open on Tuesdays so I could come more often! read more

So far I've ordered the Taro Milk Tea Float which is a classic Taro Milk Tea with Taro ice cream on top and boba. The second time around I bought the Taro Smoothie with boba, and I requested Taro ice cream on top of it. Both drinks were difficult to eat the ice cream from because they both contain ice, the Milk Tea, whole pieces of ice, the Smoothie, crushed pieces of ice. So really I just love the Taro ice cream after all and ended up buying a pint of it for $6! Not bad since it's more than 3 scoops. I also bought the pint of Thai Tea which tastes exactly like it. But the Taro ice cream is better, it's smoother and creamier, excellent ice cream! When you're here you HAVE to try it! Now I'm craving it! Luckily I bought that pint and have it in my freezer. Also, I was surprised that the ice cream did not melt on my way home in traffic. And after being refrozen it still tasted just as creamy and smooth! read more
The location of the Milk Run threw me off. However, looks is deceiving. Their inside interior is so cute, cosy and inviting. It's such a pleasant place to be at. I felt so welcome and just being there. There are 7 of us and we're a bit loud..... The staff that helped us was very nice and patient. Their drinks and ice cream was really good. If we love in Phoenix, this place will definitely be my favorite boba drink location _^ read more

I was only able to try one drink here, the AZ Sunset. It was perfect sweetness and very refreshing. The lychee was perfect addition to this drink. The store itself was very inviting and nicely decorated. The employees were friendly and patient with me when ordering and the drinks came out promptly. I can't wait to go back and try their other drinks. read more

Is the ice cream non dairy?
Most are not. The have a non dairy coconut vanilla option and it's pretty good.
Are only single-use cups allowed, or can customers bring in their own Milk Run bottles again?
They are only using the recyclable single-use plastic cups right now. They will be using the bottles again in the future; they just don't know when.
Are there any Sugar free options or one that uses Stevia instead of real sugar?
Not at this time unfortunately. As a diabetic I asked recently and no options

Milk Run is open and our normal business hours are everyday 11am-8:30pm, and closed on Tuesdays. If you referring to Pho Thanh Restaurant next door then they are closed for Lunar New Year and will reopen on Sat, March 2nd.
Do they have lactose free creamer?
We don't use creamer but we do offer soy and almond milk.

Yes, they can substitute milk with almond or coconut. They also have non-dairy piñata colada ice cream :)
