My family loved their food and I love my sandwich, but I have to say their Matcha was kind of nasty. It didn't have much flavor. It kind of just tasted like water. I would definitely come back again and skip the Matcha for some coffee, as my family seemed to love theirs.

We ordered iced chais, which were excellent, but the real surprise was the food. We weren't quite sure what to expect from a coffee shop serving burritos, but wow, were we wrong. We ordered two Clem Burritos, one vegetarian and one with brisket. They were absolutely packed with ingredients and loaded with flavor. Every bite seemed to have a little bit of everything: beans, rice, pico, pickled cabbage, salsa, crema, and plenty more. The combination of flavors and textures worked incredibly well. The crema and salsa were both fantastic, although we definitely would have appreciated a little more of each. Now for the funniest part of the meal: the side of chips. The menu says the burrito comes with chips, and technically it does. As you can see from my photo, we received exactly three chips. Not a handful. Not a small pile. Three individual chips. The funny thing is, they were really good chips. We wanted more of them! It felt like the kitchen accidentally stopped counting at three and decided that was enough. Hopefully they'll revisit the portion size because it's the only thing that felt out of place in an otherwise excellent meal. That said, we're definitely not holding the Great Three-Chip Incident against them. The patio is wonderful, the drinks are great, and the burritos were far better than we ever expected. For this visit, I placed an online order for a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. The food was fresh, nicely presented, and the portions were great. The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites, although I think it could use a little more seasoning to really bring all of the flavors together. The coffee has unfortunately been the inconsistent part of my recent visits. I've found that my lattes are often served warm rather than actually hot, which makes them less enjoyable. Because this has happened more than once, I'm probably going to take a little break from ordering coffee here. I'd love to see more consistency with the temperature because everything else about Melo keeps me coming back. The staff is always friendly and incredibly accommodating, and service has consistently been quick. The café is also clean and has a cozy atmosphere that's great for brunch, studying, catching up with friends, or even visiting solo. I come here by myself all the time and always feel comfortable. They've renovated the space and added smaller tables to accommodate more people. It felt a little different at first, but I've gotten used to it and now I think it adds to the cozy atmosphere.
