Basic diner fare: omelettes, eggs, waffles, pancakes, eggs Benedict... menu is not high end or extensive but just what you're looking for in a good breakfast diner. Daughter got choc chip pancakes and I got the Greek omelette. Both good. Omelette could have come off the griddle 1 min earlier and it would have been perfect, it was just a little overdone. But the flavor was great, gyro meat was really nicely spiced, spinach and feta were good, makes me want to go back for lunch and get a pita wrap. Upgrade from hash browns to tater tots was the right call, they were a great side. All the staff were friendly and quick to help, refill coffee, etc. We ate inside and it was nice, it's on the canal but across the street so patio just looks out at the parking lot. But it's kinda cool inside. Would definitely go back here for breakfast.

Next, the hostesses were all wonderful and so friendly. What a way to start the morning! Our servers were great as well. Straight to it and very accommodating. We went here twice, and each time our server was wonderful. But let's get to the FOOD! DELICIOUS! Listen. I live a solid dinner all day, but a diner that also is knowledgeable about gluten allergies and has gluten free bread?! Yes please!!! And this isn't a greasy spoon diner you go to at 3AM (even though I love those too) - it is delicious, simple, home cooked, heart warming food. Every dish we ate was so good. Big portions, crispy hash brown patties, gluten free toast, delicious milkshakes, and solid coffee to start the day. This diner could not do wrong in my eyes. What a great spot, and we cannot wait to come back soon!

I can confirm that the shrimp and grits are wonderful as well as the waffles, home fries and everything else that we have tried which is pretty much everything. My aunt raved about the catfish nuggets. Their chicken and waffles are served with wings not tenders so that is also a big hit. The shrimp and grits feature jumbo shrimp, not the small ones, and the portion is large enough for two of us to split. Our family hosted a small gathering here in the fall and we recently went back, as a couple and had an amazing experience. I had not previously heard of this restaurant prior to my niece planning and making the recommendation, but we are so happy that we did. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. Did I mention that it is flavorful and delicious? Can I elaborate on how overly nice everyone on the staff is from the owner, to the wonderful people working in the kitchen. The atmosphere is modern with great vibes. The music is loud, but lends itself to a fun vibe. The mimosas are strong and a decent pour. Lots of good things to say about Vault, but the bottom line is that it is more than worthy of a visit. I have read other reviews comment on the wait. We have never experienced a long wait times. However, the dining room is not super large, so if you go on a Saturday or Sunday maybe use common sense and know that you'll be waiting longer during peak times. We dined midweek and waited no time to sit since there weren't many people and no more than 15-20 minutes for our meal. Our server, this time, could have been a little more prompt as it took her about 15 minutes to appear from the back to take orders for my table and another one. We have parked on the street during visits. Parking is not the most ideal, but we have managed to easily find a spot. All good things have been experienced during our visits. Add this to your restaurant rotation because we certainly already have! We like it.

The hostess never once looked at us, acknowledged our presence or said the simple words that make any customer happy, "I'll be right with you." So we walked out unhappy and went to another place in the public market that made us feel very welcome instead. It was disappointing and I won't be going back but we had a fantastic brunch somewhere else.

We were seated in the middle of the crowded dining room around 1:30 that thinned out quite a bit during our brunch. Without a reservation you can't complain but we got bumped into a few times so it didn't make for a very relaxing experience. Our waitress was not very good. For the french toast she asked if I wanted a small or big stack. I didn't have glasses on or I might've noticed on the menu short=1, full=2. Using the same terminology or explaining would've been very helpful because when only one piece of toast arrived from my shorter "stack" I was very surprised. The mimosas were in small flute glasses which is way overpriced for the size. My husband's coffee was meant to have refills but we had to flag her down for that. She didn't actually bring us anything either, other wait staff brought the drinks and then the meals. The food was good, the ambience if you have the right seat is nice too. At the hostess station we overheard a phone call with someone requesting to be by the fireplace and now I see why. Will not return to this location when we're in town on a getaway this summer but might try the one in Pittsford or Penfield.

Right in the river that goes through Honeoye Falls...or maybe this is Mendon. There is a parking lot close by which I didn't know about so I parked on the street. It's super easy to get to. When you walk in there's a bar and there are two dining rooms, it's not a huge place but there was no wait. My friend and I were seated in the little dining room by the falls. It's very...intimate there are three tables and honestly, I felt like if I spoke at my normal voice level-I'd annoy the other diners. It's cozy...we made friends with the other table., Our server was friendly, she did call us guys though and we clearly not and that kind of grinds my gears a little. I didn't say anything to my friend but she also mentioned the use of the words guys.,it's a little burger bar joint so I know it's informal and that's nitpicky but I feel how I feel. She was on top of filling waters, the food came promptly. She set the check down without asking if we wanted dessert maybe they do t have any...I don't know but that was a missed opportunity. The food was really good. I got pizza logs...they are the same exact pizza logs you get anywhere else. The burger...mmmmm. I got the bacon blue. I asked for crispy bacon a well done burger, no lettuce or tomato. As you can see by my photo-it had lettuce. My order was repeated back to me so that's kitchen's fault. Easy enough to pick off. I would have like more blue cheese dressing...I couldn't tell if it was in there. This isn't the kind of bacon that gets crispy but it was done enough for me. The burgers are thin. Butter toasted roll. It was a nearly great burger! I had cottage cheese as a side and it was extremely 'creamy'...I can't say for sure but I feel like some milk was added to cut costs and stretch it because it was like soup. I wasn't able to each much of it. This place was so close to a five...and if you want a really good burger-this is the place.
