Their coffee machine has different designs to choose from. I also like that you can get dairy-free options in your latte, such as oat or almond beverage. I loved my latte. It had a touch of sugar, which I appreciated. It tasted yummy and hit the spot. This dessert place is known for making sweet sushi. It looks like sushi, but in dessert form. It takes three days to make one sweet sushi roll. It looked like a lot of work to put it together. I have had the Oreo sushi. It was sweet, but not to the point where I felt that my teeth were disintegrating in front of me. I loved how soft the interior was and how nicely it held together by the chocolate exterior coating. Yummy! What brings me back to this store is the fine assortment of desserts. The store also has sugar-free options that I dig. I've had the following items so far: - Lemon macaron - Lemon tart - Cake pop (sugar-free) - Magnum filled with mousse The lemon macaron was awesome. I love tart lemon and this macaron had it. The lemon tart was equally as tart (pun unintended, but it's kind of funny that it should be) and delicious. It had more crust than I would have liked, though. I'm more of a filling person. Delicious nonetheless! The cake pop was moist and yummy. It was the right portion size, except that I wanted five more of them. It was delicious. The magnum was super delicate. I loved the white chocolate on the outside and the decadent mousse inside. It was a bit heavy that I couldn't hold it by the stick and eat it. All of these goodies were not overly sweet. It felt decadent eating each dessert item. It was nice treating myself to these goodies. I will give a croissant a try next time. There's so much to check out, including cakes and cheesecakes. Inside has lots of layers of soft buttery croissant dough - delicious. The chocolate croissant has a really nice rich chocolate drizzle on top and layer inside. It's sweet chocolate flavor but not overly and has that nice rich texture. Almond croissant has sliced almond and powdered sugar on top. There's an almond paste layer in the middle that has a great almond flavor and isn't too sweet. Price: Pretty consistent pricing with downtown pastries with great quality.

The smoothies are in collaboration with Bolt Smoothies. They also had several pastries on sale as well. City Dance Corps and Cat's Eye Coffee is in a building with several businesses and companies as well, which makes it convenient for the employees to grab a good cup of coffee in the area. I stopped by Cat's Eye Coffee on a Thursday around noon. The staff was friendly. There were already two other customers chatting when I visited. I ordered a cappuccino which was made at a reasonable time. I also noticed the smoothies available, all which sounded delicious. They do use Pilot Coffee Roasters. I sat down to enjoy my cappuccino which was made well. Definitely a good cup of coffee around the Ossington/Dupont area!

It is quite compact with a handful of seating. Some may find this activity distracting. The washrooms are also shared with the dance company. I ordered a croissant that I got warmed in the toaster oven, which was a generous size and was satisfying and crispy. All the pastries and sandwiches are sourced through a partnership with the Petite Thuet bakery. The total cost came to about $4 CAD, which I would consider on par with a downtown cafe, and I felt happy with the quality of the pastry I received. If you are in the Dovercourt area, this cafe is a nice spot to drop by for a little bite and drink.

They even offered me a coffee rewards card (you can buy 4 drinks and get 15% off your 5th one. Buy 9 drinks and your 10th drink is on them!). I randomly browsed the game shop and there were lots and lots of games for purchase! They also have an old school pac man arcade game in the back as well.
