Everyone is super friendly and patient. Abby is a Peruvian Hairless dog breed, and she gets her nails done here by the excellent groomers. We bathed her in the excellently appointed self-serve spa as well. The dog treats, food, and other needs (e.g., collars, harnesses, toys) are all high-end. Our vet recommended this store to us as something akin to "Whole Foods for pets". Dr. V was absolutely right. There certainly are other stores, but none come close to the quality, service, and hospitality of Pet Wants Clarkston.

Was then waiting for my wife and other two children to pick out a toy for their puppy. They were promptly yelled at by a staff member for trying to squeak a few toys that the dog would like. They all sound different so they we're trying to find the proper one. She proceeded to scold my wife and kids in front of other shoppers, that she has to hear the squeaking all day and to stop. If she can't handle the sound of toys and animals in a retail environment, she should defiantly work somewhere else Sorry Magoos, but completely unacceptable and will just go somewhere else for now on.

Was told next Saturday appointment was on August 21st.. as I was saying that was too long to wait was hung up on... called back to speak to owner and was told she wasn't there.. left message and finally heard back on 7/15, 5 days later.. I wish there were other groomers to choose from.. oh wait, there are.. lost a client of over 12 years due to lack of concern.. business must be really good.

It's not so surprising with CVS, but I was really surprised that places like Petsmart overcharge as well. When I first went to Val's, it was like a breath of fresh air. (LIterally, figuratively.) I needed cat litter, and Val's had a great selection of that and just about everything else I could ever think of wanting. For a big bag I ended up paying about $15, where for a bag HALF the size of the one I got at Val's I was paying about the same at other places. That's a REALLY big difference. What will make me come back to Val's is the sales. They plaster the inside and outside of their business with posters of their sales, sales on things that no one else does. Science Diet for a buck a can? Big bags of kitten chow for $12? I"m so there! If you have a cat or dog and you're sick of paying stupid prices for the simple things they need, then check out Val's. I'll never go to another store again!

Hamilton's is very special - personal service and your items are loaded into your trunk seamlessly as you pay. My kids love to visit the rabbit that lives here. I also found a loose dog recently and the Hamilton's employee managed to get a very active dog into their store for safe keeping. I was totally impressed with their quick action and their concern for this animal. They fed fancy treats to the dog and worked with the Sheriff's office towards a reunion with the owner. Just a great place for feed and seeds.
