We took our 9 month old pup there for puppy classes, the first class our pup was very calm and…read moreseemed to be adjusting to social behavior in my eyes. She literally was calm enough to lay down during class......The second class was a little different as she was acting like all she wanted to do was leave, jumping on the door. So the instructor asked my wife and my granddaughter to leave class with our dog, so she did. As she wouldn't learn anything acting like that anyway. So my wife got an e mail regarding "private classes", a 1on 1 sort of training with a proposed schedule that my wife couldn't commit to, so my wife e mailed back to relay that and ask for a prorated refund of the remainder of the $175 we paid and were told there will be no refund! So we paid $175 for 1 hour and 20 minutes of puppy class! Not the 6 hours we should have gotten. I think our pup had a rough couple of days prior to the last 20 minute class so in my eyes she should have been allowed to attend another group class to see how she would react but nope she was "kicked out" of puppy class. And for the private lessons we were asked not to bring our granddaughter. It seems that most dog trainers are bossy know it all types of people! So before spending good money for training classes her beware as you could loose a good amount of money of your pup has a bad day or two before class!

I can't say how much my dog loves going here. We have tried many different kennels over the years…read morebut we finally found the perfect place for our little furry guy. He gets so excited when we drop him off. The staff treat each pet with love. YES YOUR DOG HAS TO BE INTERVIEWED BUT THAT IS WHAT MAKE THIS PLACE SO AWESOME! We have never had our dog injured, get sick or any of the problems you see at some other places. Give All Paws a try you won't go anywhere else. Jon waterford

We first heard of All Paws Inn through word of mouth. It sounded nice enough so we thought we…read morewould try it out with our 15lb Bichon while we vacationed to Europe for 2.5 weeks. Upon entering All Paws Inn, the first thing I noticed was how clean and well taken care of the place was. Even though there were quite a few dogs in there (five or so), the place did not smell like a dog...it just smelled like a normal clean house. There is also a big fenced in back yard for the dog to run around in, which we liked. Prior to using their services, the first thing they needed was to have our dog come over for the day to make sure he was a nice fit and that he got along well with the other animals. This was nice because it showed us that Nellie and Marcia (innkeepers) really took their job seriously and cared about the welfare of all the animals in their care at any one time...it wasn't just about getting the most animals they could. Thankfully our dog passed and we were able to leave him with them while we went on vacation. The care he received while we were away was excellent. When we came to pick our dog up he was happy and jumping around. He came home very tired (we could tell he had gotten a lot of exercise). I definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a good dog sitter while they go away. We drove all the way from Warren (one hour away) to use their services, and are glad we did. We recently moved to Germany and hope that we can find people that are half as good as All Paws Inn. Best, Shaun C.

They reopened at a new location and we attempted to give them the benefit of the doubt- but between booking and arriving no one reached out to tell us a piece of documentation was missing from our vet and we had to leave with our dog and figure out same day care plans for her. So all around complete lack of communication in our experience. Will have to find a new place.

All three of our healthy, vaccinated dogs (9 yo f English setter, 2 yo M English setter and a 4 yo…read moreM Great Dane) got very sick during their stay and our Great Dane died from complications of whatever he picked up there a week following. I have attempted to discuss what happened with them, only to be told that the owner is out of town and will contact me on August 27. Therefore, given the urgency of getting dogs tested for whatever was spreading around that place, if you boarded at The Lodge for Pampered Pets recently, they were closed for cleaning from August 14-20th due to an outbreak of what they believe to be canine cough, but may be something else. This information was sent out via email on July 29 for some clients, but not to us. In fact, they sent us an email confirming our reservation from August 3-8 that made no reference to an outbreak at the facility, just in the "area", and made no mention of the closure in less than a week after our dogs were there. We received information about the closure on the 12th along with a statement from a vet stating that it isn't a serious disease. The point is that they knew there was an outbreak before July 29, made the decision that it was serious and they needed to shut down and clean, and yet didn't close their facility until august 14th. Additionally, they didn't mention the closure or reasoning to people boarding in the weeks following the decision to close and the closure.

We toured the facility prior and were Very impressed with everything. The suites are large and the ones with private runs were our dog's fav's!! They have all the comforts of home including a "lounge area" where they could relax in front of TV like they are used to at home. Lisa and Randy are true animal lovers and are so, so good with all that they care for. After or first boarding experience, we knew we had found the BEST place for our babies...even added a 3rd baby along the way. We continued to use their service year after year and our dogs Loved the time they spent there...almost like they hated to come home..hahaha . We have recently moved out of state and have truly missed our "sitters". I would highly recommend Wag and Purr...and have to many of our friends. Don't look any further...you have found the absolute best boarding facility in the area!! Miss you! Bob and Cindy Hale Chase (in doggy heaven now), Mocha and Marley
