She's observant and thoughtful in a way that you don't get from big, busy facilities with multiple trainers and programs. That might be convenient, but good training isn't on a time line. HA offers grooming, boarding, and training, and I've used all three. She's a great hand on the table, and she's never rough with the dogs. My dog loves to board with her, and he's eager to get into the kennel and play with doggy friends. As for training, he has two obedience titles, his championship, and several sports titles. All of these were either trained with Daphne or on the foundation she taught us both. You really can't do better than her care for your dog.

I like that they require proof of immunizations & a negative stool test (a test that is performed yearly as part of routine health exam by your Vet) before your pet can be boarded (this policy decreases the likelihood that your pet will contract an illness while there)! You can request daily play time/walk for your pet for a small additional fee. A bath is included in the boarding fee if your pet is there for a minimum number of days (I forget the number-I think it's 5 days-check the website to be sure). An added plus, the new owner is a Vet Tech. I would not board my pet any where else!

I started boarding my dog at Four Paws when other arrangements I used to make weren't panning out…read moreanymore. Since I'd never done this before I was hesitant to trust my little friend to strangers. My pup passed her meet-and-greet with flying colors, and it eased a good measure of my discomfort. After having boarded her several times now, were BOTH happy with their staff and services. I never worry about her while she's there, and I often forget to even check in on her (except when my grandkids ask if we can see her!). Now when I pack her things, she knows where she's going, and it's not uncommon for her to be too excited to eat or drink, and even if I'm not ready to leave she'll get in the car and won't get out. We're both happy we found Four Paws Hotel and Day Resort! (I referred my sister to them, and now her dog is a regular when she leaves town as well.)
