Wow, I am shocked I am the first person to review this pet store. Though we are almost daily next…read moredoor at Costco (for fuel, mainly), I found this store by pure luck. I was on the hunt for Fromm cat food, and lo and behold, Premier Pet Supply carries it. This is how I found them, but I stuck around for many other reasons. This store has some truly knowledgeable, friendly people working here. It is always clean and well stocked, as well. The other amazing things about it is the sheer amount of food available.. they have your regular brands which you can purchase almost anywhere, and then they have the more obscure/holistic/expensive/specialty brands as well. I only have cats, but walking through the store it seems they have an equal amount of dog food, possibly even more. I recently got two kittens with a more specialized diet, so I need high quality, high protein feed for them, as well as snacks which may seem yuck at first (okay, it's still yuck). (Freeze dried) Organs, chicken necks, etc. They carry it all! They do sell animals here as well.. they have a section of the store for adopting kitties, and then they have a few small animals for sale as well - the usual bunnies, etc. I did see hedgehogs one time, which was pretty cool! Had they been friendlier I probably would have been the proud owner of a hedgehog, so in hindsight it was probably a good thing I was a wee bit intimidated by the prickly thing. I of all people do not need more animals. Make sure you sign up for their loyalty program, every tenth bag of food is free (!), and after spending X amount of Dollars, you get a discount/reward as well. I can honestly say I haven't set foot in the large nationwide chains since I started shopping here, as I would much rather support a local company with superior service, superior product and a superior customer loyalty program.

Signed up for my pet to have her nails cut by the Peticured service. I received a text stating that…read moreI had 30 minutes or less to get to the store. It takes that time for me to get there since I live in South Lyon. I ended up arriving 60 seconds after my 30 minute window expired. I walked in just behind another person going to get his dogs nails trimmed and an employee of Premier Pet Supply instructed me not to go back to the area of the service. She said that "Peticured" is very strict with their timing and told me I would just have to rejoin the waitlist because there's no exceptions for being less than a minute late. Even though I walked in at the same time as the other person.. I don't think that it was right that the employee didn't verify with the actual "Peticured" service and that she played it off as no big deal to just join the waitlist with 14+ people on it. I told her my situation and how I can't rejoin the waitlist and she said in a rude and sarcastic manner, "okay then have a good day". I have had multiple appointments with "Peticured" at the Novi location and have never had a bad experience with the employees at the Novi location. Not sure what the issue is with Northville though. Will not be returning to Northville location for anything.

The selection here, as far as food, toys, litter, etc., is top notch. The store cat Leo is cool as hell and we were lucky enough to stop in for his birthday celebration/sale. My girlfriend and I work in Ann Arbor but live in Dearborn, and we decided to make the trip out on a weekend just to catch the sale, because not only was everything 15% off (cat products) , but the first fifty customers received goody bags. As expected, the goody bags came packed full of cat stuff that I know my cats are going to love. We are now at the point that my cats actually recognize the Pet Emporium bags and will try to sneak towards the bag and try to pull out various treats and toys. If you have a pet I highly suggest you stop by and check this place out. Your pets will thank you!!

One would think that's how it is at any store but obviously depending on the store you'll be lucky to have an employee even look in your direction. The store has a great selection of cleaning supplies, food, treats, leashes, and accessories for dogs, cats, and other animals. They do grooming as while so it's worth asking some questions. I was able to pick up some treats and a few cans of wet cat food since I buy both wet and dry food. The staff asked about allergies and any anything that could be harmful. My cat will eat anything though, but great spot overall.

The employees here are so knowledgeable and friendly & they were ultimately the ones who worked with me because they cared about our furry children so much to figure out the best food combinations for my dog. All the recommendations they give me I always trust and normally found myself adapting into our every day regimens as well. This place is wonderful, often does sales on all kind of products they carry so check in often, and truly take customer service & passion for our four-legged friends to a whole other level! Note: Don't be confused by their signage! They are now called Bentley's, but their sign still say Green Pawz Pet Supply!

I took my 72 pound golden doodle here for a bath the day before Thanksgiving. They have a self…read moreserve dog wash. I like that the room that you wash and dry your dog in is an individual private room. That is different than other places where I have bathed my dog. But what I did not like was that the hose to the dryer kept coming off - meaning I had to use both hands to hold the dryer together and was unable to brush my dogs while drying him. I did talk to the employee and she put it back together once, but it kept coming apart. So she then switched out the dryers for me. Also there is no where to hook your dog to when he is not in the tub. Some places have a raised bench where you dry your dog. This place does not. There is a hook with the noose that goes around their neck to hold them in the tub, but if you want to dry your dog outside of the bathtub, there's nowhere to tie them up to. I have a dog that does not like the blow dryer and he was bouncing off the walls, it was not a very good experience for us. However, it was very clean and the private room for bathing/drying was very nice. If I had a small dog or a dog that stands still for the blow dryer, I would go back here.
