I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure for myself and my mom so I could get ready to attend a wedding. Naturally, I called the day before to make the appointment since I figured they'd be busy on a Saturday. I got there first and when I walked in, no one greeted me. They just stared at me. I told them I had an appointment and they seated me right away. I told them that my mom was on her way and she had an appointment also. They ignored me. While they started me on my pedicure, there was a walk-in family that wanted manicures and pedicures. They took them right away so that there were no chairs left. Then when my mom arrived, they ignored her as well. I had to get the attention of the tech next to me (since my tech didn't speak English) to let them know she had an appointment. They made her wait for 20 minutes. Then when she asked how much longer, they told her 2 minutes. FIVE MINUTES later, she said she had to leave and they told her again to wait 2 minutes. Such bad business. Not to mention, two weeks later after going to another salon to get a pedicure I find out that the way the tech did my toe nails that day, I would have gotten an ingrown toe nail! Those things hurt! I'm never going back here due to the lack of quality AND customer service. read more

Had an appointment, they were running about 30 minutes late. They were very apologetic about it which is fine. I wanted a simple manicure. The nail tech was fast, did a good job, but spent the entire time trying to convince me to upgrade the manicure or add on a pedicure. I love this place for the price and quality of work. I see Kim and she really takes the time to clean and take out any ingrown toenails. For the gel manicure, sometimes she puts more than two coats down and this is when my nails last the longest. There is one tech there that rushes but I dont recall her name. She has short, boy cut hair, and older looking with glasses. I went to her once and she didnt do a good job on my nails. She only put one coat down and rushed drying it so my gel polish didnt last very long. The other techs do a pretty good job too. Lastly, they give you a short back massage after the gel manicure. So this is my first time here. My 2 friends and I came in got a fill, pedicure, full set, and eyebrow wax. The bill was $120 plus tip. My pedicure was wonderful, and my sister didn't complain about her nails except that it was crooked. When I was getting my eyebrows done I had never been in so much pain in my life. Honestly the worst. I had to wash my makeup off because she got hair in my damn eye. And there was stray hair everywhere. Me and three other friends wanted to get our nails done for prom here because my friend recommended it. My friend made a reservation, seemingly for 4 people but somehow when we got there, there were reservations for 1. It was incredibly busy inside too! We sat around maybe for 10-20 minutes and we decided to try somewhere else because we needed to go. As we were walking out, Miley ran out and tried to hustle us back in. She said we could be done in an hour. So we went back inside and she started on our nails. It felt like she was rushing us a lot. My nails were crooked and not filled leveled but all the other girls were pretty content with theirs. Not even 4 days later and the acrylics began to come off. There is no real ambiance as the owner is Vietnamese, but she is thorough and the shop is clean. I discovered this nail salon from yelp- and it's so close to my house so I had to try 'em. I've been 3 times so far, for regular mani, pedi and then gel mani. A regular mani is 15$ ---- it's like LA prices ! Amazing. On top of that my nails look gorgeous- each nail tech lady pays serious attention to detail my cuticles are perfect groomed, my nails are in absolute uniform - and they massage meFoR FREAKING EVER. I love Miley's nails for their nail services. DO NOT try their waxing services. I received a Brazilian wax from them and I left with a stinging/burning sensation. Once I went home I checked my vagina and it was completely swollen and inflamed. One day has passed and my vagina is still inflamed after I have iced it, applied aloe vera gel, applied antibiotic ointment, and took a couple ibuprofens each day. I applied antibiotic ointment because I read online that if skin is inflamed like this after getting waxed, that it could be because several layers of skin was taken off, leaving yourself prone to infection. read more

One of our favorite movies was playing on the huge tv. They cleaned my nails like better than they've ever been cleaned by a nail salon. The massage was excellent. Our toes are cute. The ladies were pleasant. Even though we caught them last minute before they closed, they were great and took their time. There's lots of parking. I don't know what happened to Miley nails, Bt I miss Angela. I came here and brought a friend yesterday for a pedi and Mani. I explained my design and the lady said she can do it just pick out a color and have a seat. I even showed a picture of the design so she could get a clearer vision she said it wasn't a problem. So she starts working on my nails when she started to do the design and polish she screwed up over and over and over again. And she wanted to raise the price on me at that moment smh. Next thing I know she's talking to another person who told her that my nails needs to be completely dry for the last coat to go on. I said "OK so what are you guys gonna do with my nails? Because the nail polish is mesas up. She said she'll fix it. But she didn't. She said $47 I said no. Bad service. When Angela was here she would never have done this kind of work. Wouldn't recommend this place. Went here on a tuesday at 11. The place was empty. I went for a mani/pedi. Sat down, the you put your feet & hands in was cold. The 2 ladies who were working on me seemed like they were in a rush. They did not greet me, ask me how i was today, or try to have a conversation with me. They rushed through the mani/pedi. The massage was fast and mediocre. The nail polish isnt even and it didnt cover my whole nail on some fingers. And the clear coat is very thin and isnt even. When my nails dried, I noticed there was a bump on my middle finger nail polish. I told one of the ladies to fix it. This is how she fixed it: she applied clear coat, then smashed my nail with her glove to drag out the bump.then applied more clear coat. Seriously? She looked at me, then said ok. I looked at her, hoping she would say she will re-apply the polish..but she didnt. I was so upset i walked out. Never going back again. The only good thing? The price. read more

They will ask you if you want something small, like buffing your nails - something which you would think is included in the price of a pedicure, because they spend only about 1 minute buffing. Then at the end of your treatment, you discover that there is an extra $5.00 charge that they conveniently did not mention. It seems they do this for other services too. I can't believe I actually tipped these jerks. Oh, by the way, their pedicures suck. Despite constant pleas to really sand down my feet, they totally ignored me and refused to spend more than two or three minutes per foot. Worst pedicure I've ever had. I have been here 2 times. My first visit was back in January & took 4 hours for gel color. This was due to the technician leaving to do numerous waxes for walk-in customers. I was almost late to work because of it, however the quality was excellent. Today I went back to get gel color put on for a special event. This time the quality was horrific. There are finger prints (hers) on almost every nail, superglue bumps sticking out (from being put on top of the gems), color missing on small portions of most nails, and acrylic all over my fingers. At $68 plus tip this is the most I've ever spent on my nails & it looks like a 3 year old did it. When I tried saying something while there, all of a sudden the technician didn't speak any English. Both visits I left frustrated, only now I will have to spend more time & money to get them fixed somewhere else. read more

Things I love when getting a pedicure: -A good amount of time spent on the pedicure (about an hour?) -A long and great foot massage -Massage chairs -Making sure the polish paints on nice and neat Things I hate when getting a pedicure -Technicians that ask every 5 minutes if you want to add this or that for an extra charge. *in Vietnamese accent* "You like this?! Only five dolla more!" "You sure? Only five dollah. Really nice!" It's a bit uncomfortable to keep saying no. -Technicians that pay more attention talking to their coworker in a foreign language or talking to a friend on the phone. -When they accidentally cut too much skin off/poke into your skin and you start to bleed. -That said above, then pretending like nothing happened. Luckily, Miley's Nails did/had everything I loved, and nothing that I hated, which automatically makes it 5 stars in my book. What's even better is that the spa pedicure was only $20 and convenient for me as it's on the way to and from my walk to work/home. For those that don't walk, Miley's Nails has parking spaces in the driveway of the house next to it on Liliha Street. What added an extra plus in my book besides the convenience and the price...was the fact that the technician wasn't trying hard to talk to me. I love the relaxation of a pedicure with the massage chair and sometimes I just want to lose my eyes. The nail technician only asked me the occasional "is this okay?" to make sure I was comfortable. Complete relaxation, I tell ya. Something I definitely need when I'm getting a pedicure after a long day of work. This pedicure was definitely the greatest I've ever received just from the combination of everything. She definitely spent a good amount of time on my pedicure (as in well over an hour) and was very precise in painting the nails. I loved that Tiger Balm lotion/ointment or whatever you call it they used with the lotion because my legs felt so soothing after. I'm definitely coming back and asking for that same lady. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Not gonna lie as of now I'm a poor-ish college student. Ever since I found this place it is my go-to for pampering before special events like new years or weddings or birthday.... This place is near Liliha Bakery and there is plenty of parking either on the street for free or in the small lot right next to the place (also for free). They take reservations and walk-ins. My favorite thing is the pedicures because of the massage. THE MASSAGE IS EVERYTHING. The foot/leg massage part of the spa pedicure is part of the reason why I give this five stars. They use tiger balm... The Ladies here are friendly and they really do great work at cleaning the nails. I noticed that they do clean their tools and that they are very good. I never feel guilty when I come here... I highly recommend that you call in to schedule an appointment so that they don't "rush you"... They have a big TV that they play netflix movies on which is great entertainment. The pedicure spa chairs are massage chairs and there is a bathroom on site. The service has been pretty consistent this past year (2015) I've probably been here 3-4 times in the past year. read more
