The service was good. I was helped right away. I came in on a Saturday morning waiting for my daughter's practice to end. I needed a fill for my full set. The lady who helped me did great. The pedicure station was busy the whole time and people were waiting for service. I normally go to another salon and notice the prices for a full set and full are a few dollars cheaper here, which is nice. My fill/ trim and shape was $55 + tip I'm giving a 4 out of 5 bc the shop just felt dirty to me. I didn't like the smell. Poor ventilation. I felt hot and crammed bc it is a small space. But all the staff I encountered were very friendly. *Make sure you bring cash for your tip. I did not have cash and had to add it to my bill amount. This means I was taxed on top of my tip. Angela is the best!! She was busy so Tina did my nails and she kept on using nail glue to repair my nail. I figure ok if it worksi will accept this fill . I tipped Tina 20% . called in the morning and made a lash app at 4:30. Rearranged my entire afternoon and had my husband drop me off with my 3 daughters. Waited for 15 minutes. The only lash girl was still in with another client. My daughter started her manicure/spa pedicure). When the lash lady came out, she took her time finishing up her client. She then came to me and told me she can't do my lashes because she had another appointment. She said sorry and that was it. So here I was stranded for the next 2 hours. After a couple nagging comments about how she wanted to clean my feet better, I gave in to do a Basic pedi ($25). Bill came out to be $55. I was shocked. I got spa pedi last time ($35) and walked out with $50. STUPID PRICES!!! Then Keiko gives me a gel fill and I wanted foil and stones. But she shared she got scolded by her boss for under charging me last time and will need to up-the-charge by $30. I argued with Keiko how that was bullshit. So I was forced to do a Basic gel fill and basic stone design. STUPID PRICES AGAIN!! So my bill was $110 fucking bucks. I WAS SO FUCKED!! I've been living in kalihi valley for 8 years now and I'm always at kamehameha shopping center and I always told myself I'll give pro nails a try one day. so instead of going to my regular spot mailey nails i called pro nails the lady that answered was really nice and I asked how much is a gel pedicure she told me $45 on the phone so I said okay can I come now? she said come in 20min. when I got there it was packed! I had to wait a bit but no biggie. when I got called the lady apologized for the wait I was like no problem and it was super clean but the pedi chairs were super close to each other! again no biggie I just really wanted a relaxing pedi cause dam I had a hard week at work on my feet all day!! lol my nail tech had super strong hands and was very nice! overall I really enjoyed my pedi! the thing that got me was the bill at the end! i really hate extras fees that I'm not aware of!! I got a spa pedi with gel and my eye brows waxed. My bill was $75.39. i was confused cause when I called they told me $45 and wax was $12 I suck at math but I'm like ummm where did u get $75.39? apparently I had to pay for taking off my old color on my nails? never had to pay that beforei really liked my pedi and nails came out pretty! I haven't gone here in over a decade but I went yesterday and was very happy with what I walked out with, especially for the prices I paid. I got a basic pedi with gel, a full gel set with 2 glitter nails & a full face wax for $140 + tip. I made an appointment for right after they opened and I recommend doing so. Once again keiko never disappoints this is my second time seeing her and she is so welcoming that I already feel like we're friends but I did come in today and asked for full set acrylic's with a V cut French tip the style of how she did the V cut French tip took a little more time than my last manicure which was totally fine to me I prefer a nail technician to take the time to make sure they present their best work then to rush it other than that I paid $70 with a $30 tip and while she was doing my nails I told her I was trying to get my lashes done at a different place called Luxe esthetics and they couldn't get me in till Monday and she quoted "girl we do lashes here" lol so even more so I was excited this is my first time getting my lashes done ever and I asked for more natural looking lashes because I do wear glasses and I don't want my lashes to hit when I'm working on the computer and she did them so perfectly that I'm able to wear my glasses without them bothering me and I believe she finished in an hour and a half I did not catch the lash technicians name but she was very nice and I believe the set that I got for my lashes cost me $80 and I gave her $40 tip overall the quality of work that I get done on me from them is truly exceptional and probably the lowest prices that you can get on this island!!! read more

The moment I've entered Pro Nails, I was greeted right away and there was an available worker to take me in. I have told her what kind of service I wanted to do which is the regular acrylic nails. I haven't figured out what color I wanted, so of course I have let her fix up my nails for the time being. She has done an amazing job. I was little unsure if I wanted to do almond shape but you know first thing for everything. I have done my nails with Pro Nails a few times. They always have done a great job with all my nails but this nail has been the far best. I am an absolute in love with how good she has done with my nails. Sadly, I didn't get her name. She took her time with me and always checked in to make sure I was doing okay and if I was happy with how it looked. She's a great conversationalist and it felt like we were already friends right off the bat lol I got lots of compliments at work, from both my coworkers and our clients -- they all said it looked natural and really cute :) I don't get my nails done often due to living at my job, but when I do, I'm usually bouncing around different places. I've been dreading actually looking at my nails since I've gotten them done cause I already KNOW it was terribly done. The two coats of nail polish was horribly painted on & ON TOP OF THAT, the top coat was also horribly done, you can see where he stops the top coat, it's so bad. I understand it's my own fault, I should have spoken up but this review is to help anyone else out there who may fall victim to this shop. DON'T DO IT!!! Go somewhere else!!! Research better! I'm from B.I., I moved here a month ago & my regular nail tech based in Hilo was soooo good to me, I miss her! She never spoke to me but with the numerous times she's done my nails, she has NOT disappointed. And here's the best part, she only charged 40 bucks. The day I left, I visited her to tell her good-bye and get a going away mani but she was out sick. Giiiirl, if you just so happen to come across this and you're reading this, I MISS YOU. I have been to other places where they kind of rush through the services, but she really took her time with trimming my cuticles and cleaning up my nails before even painting.
