This was one of the best decisions we made on the trip. The food was extremely tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The service exceeded our expectations! I don't know why people think the owner is rude, especially to women. I went in today and ordered the combination kebab. It was great. I started having them deliver to me aver 10 years ago. Most of the time the owner delivered. He has always been friendly to the whole family. When I went in today there were no customers and they were sitting at a table enjoying lunch. My classmates and I had lunch at this place and we found out that we gave the owner a covid vaccine shot 2days prior. He is very nice, funny and just a sweetheart. Great pizza, well priced and the best part is the owner who is the friendliest and kindest man you will ever meet. Our whole family has sworn off all of the other pizza joints because you just love the pizza and the guy. We even enjoy going to pick it up, just to say hello and hear his wonderful accent. This place does not need a long review. I was on the way to Pismo Beach and we stopped by here for a quite bite. There customer service is very odd. The owner was rude because he rushed us to order, but then he said he was joking. We asked him for ranch then he said "why would you ask me something like that" but then said hew as joking. Worst pizza shop ever. Paid $23 for a large and got 8 slices would never EVER come back here again. If you don't tip him he doesn't care for you. Their pizza is truly one of a kind, a diamond in the ruff. Even though they have competition surrounding them I will always come here before any chain "pizzeria". I am able to get there famous 24 inch King Kong pizza the way I love it and get a free cheese mid 12 inch pizza for the price of ome pizza from from local competition. Money well spent. Will easily feed 8-10 people, and the price was decent (less than $40!) Their crust is good, and their service is phenomenal! The workers there are really friendly and are quick to make conversation while you wait to get your pizza boxed. Would definitely recommend Milan's pizza for those who live locally. It's right next to Savemart, so walking across the parking lot to pick up a few beers to go with your yummy pizza is a must! Actually I'm surprised. There's so many pizza places and this one stands out. Here's why: The dough is very light, I don't even think it's pizza dough, it's kinda sweet and tastes like naan had sex with a pretzel and this was their baby. Sauce is on point, good tomato flavor that's rich and thick, not runny and flavorless like most pizza places in Cali. Toppings are wow. The veggies are fresh and crispy, can literally hear the crunch when someone is chewing 2 feet away. The meat is good as well. Customer service was also good, friendly Afghan guys working inside that know what they are doing. Being hungry right here in the middle of nowhere I'm very glad I came upon this gem. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved to Lathrop and decided to explore the local restaurants. We were walking out of the neighboring eatery when we noticed a gentleman walking out of Milan's with the biggest box of pizza we had ever seen! It was Gianormous! And we were intrigued to say the least. We walked in just to look at prices and we were greeted by an equally big smile from a man named mike. We left with only a takeout menu but returned two weeks later. Not only did mike remember us he recommended the perfect pizza. We have came back a few times since and the customer service keeps getting better and we haven't had a bad pie yet. Great guy, great pizza pie, and great sense of community every time you walk in. First time I tried Milan's pizza was on Christmas Day and yes they were open!! I believe I talked to the owner over the phone who was very friendly with a inviting / family vibe. I ordered a XL pizza and it was one of the better cheese pizzas I've had. The sauce they use has a specific taste to it in a good way! I called and asked for clarification on what time you guys were open till (Yelp says 11, Google says 10). You tell me 10 and say oh bummer- we wouldn't be able to pick up to go until 10:15. You were super gracious and said of course no problem brother etc etc.. I ask for a few minutes to review menu, then we called back and put in an order for a Caesar salad, Bocce bites & 2 chicken parm subs. Found this excellent place for lunch during my workweek.......customer service is exceptional, the food is superb and the price point is amazingly inexpensive. Really good pizza spot! Great place for me to get lunch during work. Try the Afghan pizza, its my favorite of their specialty pizzas, spicy and fresh tasting. I like the crust, its a thinner, crisp crust. Dining area is fine, its not huge, but it's clean, simple, and well kept.
