Friendly and attentive staff. The vibes and atmosphere were on point. I wish the outdoor area was a bit warmer as these were the only seats available when we arrived around 5 pm on a Friday. We enjoyed the pretzel and grilled cheese. However, the sauce on the pizza was not flavorful at all. Also, the pizza was very greasy. Great beer specials for happy hour from 4-5:30. Half priced on tap beers! Overall, a good experience but a bit on the pricey side.

We made a reservation for 4 on a Friday and I'm glad we did because it was very busy. I loved the layout of the bar area, it was really cool in there. Drinks were great, I really liked my margarita. Food came quick too. Meals were super fresh and delicious. I got the crispy chicken caprese sandwich, it was a big sandwich and tasted great. I got the Ceasar salad for my side which I was happy with, but the hand-cut fries would also be a great addition to any meal. I had a hard time choosing what I was going to have to eat, there were so many great options.

Stopped in on a Sunday at the tail end of brunch, but decided to wait a few minutes and order from the regular menu instead. We sat outside on their patio which is very nice. They are right on the rail trail if you enjoy cycling, but it also offers some good people (and dog!) watching lol. Server was great. She brought our drinks out quickly and was patient while we waited to order. We got their poutine to start, and a couple sandwiches with greens. The poutine was fine, but not great. I missed the big cheese curds and we had to ask for more gravy (which was extra), plus I felt like overall it was a touch under seasoned. I got a grilled cheese that had some greens and fig spread on it which was quite tasty and crunchy, and my husband had the smoked meatloaf sandwich that was very good and generously filled with meatloaf. Overall a good experience. I hadn't visited Mikro in a while and they still have a great tap list and good food, but I did feel like their menu was a little less interesting than I remember from previous visits.

We saw this on a blog and decided to take a ride to check it out. We were seated right away, server also touched the table fairly quickly. We decided to dive into apps so we can try the most. The pork belly bites were crispy, but tender. Cooked really well, sauced appropriately, we did the pineapple bbq . Definitely worth getting The smoked wings, we opted for the dry rub, fall off the bone with a little crispiness on the skin. The dry rub was excellent The onion rings, honestly were my least favorite. The onion rings them selves were good but they did a salt and vinegar dust which would have been good had it not just been on 1 onion ring, on one side. Most were plain. The fried chickpeas tossed in curry were spot on! These were the perfect snack, we ate the rest in the morning. We took a few things home, the chicken sandwich which was absolutely amazing as well as a tiramisu which I'm assuming was good cause my husband didn't share it with me like planned lol.

Mikro is a really cool and unique spot right next to the Farmington Canal Trail. Their rotation of what's available on tap changes frequently. Inside is very warm and cozy. They also have cocktails! It has more coziness and class than most breweries and no loud young party bar energy. Service here is always top notch. Food is a bit expensive but always delicious! This is a great spot to go to during any time of the year.

I've been watching to try this place for awhile and finally gave it a try after a run club. This place is delicious, staff is friendly, cozy inside. We went during brunch time on Sunday and they accommodated a large group easily. The drug options were great. For food, I got the hash egg benny, it was fantastic. I rarely eat everything on my plate but this plate was empty. Going to come back here again once it gets warmer to sit in the outside area!

Very cool spot, entering through (what appears to be) an old train depot. The server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. We went for brunch, first time here. We started with the hearth baked pretzel. Super soft and just the right amount of salt. The deviled eggs had a great twist, with a slight hit of bbq sauce to sweeten the saltiness of the bacon. The chorizo burrito was fantastic. Most breakfast burritos I've had end up being mostly scrambled eggs. Not this one... mostly delicious chorizo. So good. Very cool spot. Definitely worth a visit!

We strolled from the parking spot of the Farmington rail trail on Sherman Ave in Hamden CT. And arrived in time for out 12 noon brunch reservation at Mikro Depot. We were party of 4 with a toddler in a stroller. We had a variety from the breakfast brunch menu. Each item was delicious! It was a beautiful morning to sit on the outdoor patio.

This restaurant was once a train station, which gives it a very unique and trendy vibe. Light wood trim and a combination of regular and high tables, with graphic art depicting the beers on tap. The food is reasonably priced and so good! We went for Sunday bruch and there was a good variety of options. Everything came out fast and hot. Our waiters were super friendly and even recommended an ice cream place to us. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Mikro Depot is a hidden Hamden gem and checks off all the boxes for all things subtle yet beautiful. The feel of this restaurant is amazing, warm and welcoming. The menu is small, but perfectly so. There's something for every palate! For an app, we ordered the potato pancakes off the specials menu and for an entree I ordered the burger because I could not choose just one option. Burger was tasty and hit the spot! My husband got the grilled cheese and let me just say...apple butter on a grilled cheese is something I've never tried before and it was so yummy. Everything was delish and we're totally going back. And we also ended with dessert, which was the most decadent banana cake! OH I forgot to mention that the beer selections are epic. I had von Trapp fest bier and it was perfect on a slightly chilly evening dining al fresco. It does get packed and extra parking is across the street at Mount Carmel church if there's no spots for ya.

They advertise as very dog friendly but if you are looking for a welcoming place to dine, keep searching. You will be escorted to the back of the restaurant and seated at a solitary picnic table next to the trash cans (literally) behind the restaurant. Especially do not go at night - there is no lighting at the sole picnic table and it's. We left hungry, embarrassed, and misled.

Mikro Depot is such a cute restaurant. From the outside looking like a train stop to the chill ambiance inside. The food was amazing as well as the service. This pulled pork sandwich was to die for. The onion rings were amazing but not on it. If you take them off then 10/10 sandwich. The side salad was also great. The cauliflower appetizer was AMAZING, definitely recommend! The house margaritas were also perfection, strong and sweet.

    Clever railroad crossing sign.

Comfortable space, limited but diverse menu. I found the staff attentive, but not overbearing. A good early week alternate to BgrKo.

Food was amazing, but service is very slow and the space is very loud. Makes it a challenging place to eat and chat.

Happy Easter Day to everyone who celebrates Christian Faith…read more My Sister and I had reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in West Haven, in most people's opinions. Duffy's is an Irish American Pub/Restaurants owned by Christopher Walsh. Being a holiday, Duffy's is offering both their traditional and brunch menu options. The dining room and bar is decorated with strong oak furniture, tables and chairs. The historic backdrop is filled on the walls throughout the restaurant of baseball, football, political heroes and of course, a touch of Irish heritage and American pride. The staff immediately make you feel welcome and right at home with their warm demeanor and bright smiles. My Sister had the Brunch Wrap with a side of Home Fries (Sorry no picture) I had to Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli and Carrots. Washed it down with 2 Smith Wick's Irish Red Ales. Our waitress today was Kenzie.... She was attentive and polite, did a very good job, especially with it being very busy.
