Lomo Saltado - A white rectangular plate holds a serving of lomo saltado, a Peruvian dish with stir-fried beef, tomatoes, onions, and herbs. Accompanying the stir-fry are a mound of white rice garnished with chopped herbs and a portion of French fries. The plate is placed on a wooden table, with a person’s arms visible at the top of the image.

We took my mother in law for her birthday and we all loved it. The restaurant is a nice size and beautifully decorated. For drinks I had a Pisco sour. Very good and strong. For dinner, I enjoyed the Leche de Tigre. Tasty, but a little bit salty, moreso than other ones that I've had. I picked at the lomo that my husband ordered and it was very delicious. My MIL enjoyed her Tallarin Verde. The service was lovely, and the waitress made sure that my MIL had her birthday cake at the end. I enjoyed Alfajores for dessert. Overall great experience.

The food was delicious, we had the whole chicken combo it came with yellow rice, salad, and salchipapa. The chicken was well seasoned. The service wasn't the best the waitress kept forgetting our request and the restaurant wasn't packed. The ceviche was also good even I think the portion was small for the price. Overall the restaurant look clean and good ambiance.

so freaking delicious. visiting from oahu where there's no good peruvian cuisine and felt like i was in my grandmas kitchen . chicken was flavorful and juicy. lomo saltado was so yummy and the steak was tender and juicy . the calamari was good and came with a lot and the papa a la huancaina was a TREAT . definitely must try . fire pisco sour too

Entrana and half chicken, margaritas as well - A white rectangular plate holds a serving of steamed white rice garnished with herbs, alongside beef stir-fry with carrots, onions, and peppers, and a portion of French fries. The table includes drinks, condiments, and side dishes, indicating a restaurant setting.

The server was very sweet. I popped in just for a look and U-turned with company and had lunch. The place is huge. The chicken was some of the best I have had in Brooklyn, nailing Peruvian chicken is not easy. I had the steak which was whatever, the highlight here was the half chicken. Not one bite was dry and the green aji sauce was fireworks. The margaritas came in a cool cup and seating was ample enough for two. I wish the place the best since it was empty for lunch. Hopefully dinner gets busier.

Dog friendly - A small, slender dog with a dark coat and light markings on its paws and chest is on a leash, sniffing a large potted plant with broad green leaves. The setting appears to be outside a restaurant or cafe, with wooden chairs and tables visible in the background, along with a sidewalk and some outdoor decor. The ground is concrete with scattered leaves and tiles.

Everything was amazing. I had the plantains, empanadas, salchi Papas, ceviche mixto and the steak and eggs with rice shared with 2 friends. There was plenty to eat and was a perfect portion. It's a dog friendly restaurant with great service and i also got a limeade which was sweet and tart. It's a little pricey for Peruvian food. It is a very large space.

Came to this place a few times to have soup. Best Soup in BK. Emmet took care of me. Made sure there was no rice in my soup. Absolutely awesome service.

I really enjoyed the whole experience of this restaurant. It was amazing from the start. It is a hidden gem. Our waitress was more than accommodating. She is so knowledgeable and was helpful. We went out to eat for the first time here . We had the Causa, Chaufa mixta, and the Jalea. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place . The decor inside is lovely . I would love to comeback soon.

    Our dessert!!

Slamming!! Haven't had good Peruvian food in some time and this place was as good as it gets!! Excellent service and food was hot! The music choice could be a bit different but I do enjoyed the steak, soup, green sauce, flan and rice pudding. I wish this place was in Staten Island. I'd be here every week!

A dessert plate contains a slice of cake topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The plate is decorated with chocolate writing that says 'Happy Birthday' and painted flower designs with red and brown colors. The setting includes a wooden table, a spoon on a napkin, a smartphone, and a wine glass nearby.

The food was spectacular. We had a lovely waitress named Marisol. The ambiance was great too, the music was nice and the flowers were pretty. I would definitely recommend coming here. All the food we ordered tastes incredible.

Sangria - A tall, clear glass of sangria contains red wine with pieces of fruit such as lemon and orange, and a straw. The drink is on a polished wooden table inside a restaurant, with a blurred outdoor scene visible through the window, including some greenery and parked cars.

Young lady was welcoming, provided suggestions from the menu and attentive. Sangria was surprisingly delicious. Love the decor and how you feel transported instantly. Food was amazing and authentic. Will absolutely return soon.

A seafood ceviche dish is presented on a white, leaf-shaped plate, featuring sliced red onions, corn, and a lettuce leaf with a pumpkin slice garnished with a stick. A small bowl of green sauce is nearby, and the setting appears to be a restaurant with a wooden table.

Great new spot in the heart of South Slope. I haven't had Peruvian ceviche this amazing in Brooklyn. The other dishes were delicious, so authentic and savory - everything you could want for a classically Peruvian craving. The pisco sours are mouth puckering and velvety. Looking forward to how they will continue to develop and utilize that great space on 5th av. The staff is vibrant and kind.

That set the tone of attentive service, which continued throughout an exceptional meal in Bath Beach. This area is busy, in a locals doing their thing kind of way. It's a real neighborhood, and La Chacra is a great reason to check it out. We initially had decided on ordering the Combo La Chacra, which consists of a whole rotisserie chicken, yellow rice with red beans, an avocado salad, an order of salchipapas, and an order of maduros. We added an extra half chicken, and thought "that's a wrap". However, there was an appetizer special of thinly sliced octopus prepared Peruvian style that needed to be ordered too. The service was excellent. Not overwhelming, but just right. Dishes were cleared, napkins replaced, straw wrappers taken away as soon as they hit the table. It's not something that I'm used to writing about, but needed to be said. And then, the food. It was outstanding. Compared to both the basic, and the high end Peruvian restaurants that I've been to throughout the city, La Chacra is far and away the best. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt intentional. Nothing was just thrown on a plate. As full as we were, and we were quite full, there was no way that we were leaving without trying something from the desert menu. Another wise choice, as both the flan and the tres leche cake were fantastic. To wrap this one up, this spot is a solid five stars. The prices are very reasonable and the food, service, and charming atmosphere will have us returning soon.

From Argentinian styled empanadas to Peruvian styled rotisserie chicken... it's all done really well. So well that people are surprised every time they meet the owners! lol. This is a grab and go place and it gets busy! But there is a little bit of seating in the back if you need to sit and eat there. The staff work really hard to make sure everyone gets their order in a good time. And they are all so nice. I really love their rotisserie chicken and it's paired well with their fries, salad, and even rice. Their potato salad is simply seasoned but realllyyy good; truly nothing over the top with their seasoning for it but somehow it really hits the spot when you eat it with the chicken. I also tried the grilled lemon chicken with the lo mein and loved that too! I didn't finish it all in one sitting so I had that for lunch the next day. Haha. The fried shrimp was also very good. Loved dipping it as well as the chicken, into their house green sauce. The green sauce is crack!!!!! You must get lots of it. Highly recommend visiting this neighborhood staple soon or to order it delivered to your place. :)

We made a reservation for 6:15 pm to take advantage of their happy hour and when we arrived, there was only two other people at the bar. However, by around 7:30 pm the restaurant was pretty full so it may still be best to make a reservation. We opted to do their happy hour special, which is a ceviche + main for $50. They also have half off all bottles of wine during HH, and our waiter helped us select a nice bottle of white to pair with the food. For the ceviche we got the catch of the day and tuna. Between the two, I preferred the tuna although I will note the portions on both were pretty small. I'm assuming that the portion is the same as if you ordered it ala carte, but if I had paid the full price for it I would have been disappointed in the size. For mains, we got the chicken ala brasa and arroz con mariscos. Both of these were really solid-- cooked well, and the portion felt significant. Of the two, I think it really depends on what you're craving for which one I would recommend. The chicken was definitely more hefty/juicy but the arroz was very flavorful. We also opted to get a slice of the key lime pie for dessert, which was really good! The meringue was torched and it was very zesty and not too sweet. The servers were all really nice and they also do inkind, so combining that with HH can really get you a nice discount. I think without the HH pricing I would have thought the food was good, but more of a special occasion than a regular spot to visit. So do yourself a favor and come to try the HH menu.
