Great place to stop in and grab a slice or a pizza to go. They have a bar as well. We ordered a slice of cheese and it was ready in just a few minutes. Piping hot and delicious.

I finally got a taste of Mikey's during my visit to Oddfellows, their truck is conveniently located right next door to the bar. Ordering was easy and my slice of spicy pepperoni came out quickly. The slice was big and cheesy, easy to fold and start muching on once back inside. My friend warned me that it may be a little greasy, but I don't think it was greasier than any other pizza. A yummy addition to a night in the Short North!

Been coming to Mikey's for over a decade and I have never been disappointed, on busy days, on rainy days they always serve the best! I love the Sauce bar, and all the fun weekly pizzas! The vibes are immaculate and I adore the staff. The place is its own, though it's a growing chain (yay more locations) I feel like its own little oasis, welcoming all! It's like your super cool older sibling made a pizza place! I love it here!!!!

The pizza box itself is amazing. I will feel bad for throwing it out, but it's not going to make the two hour trip home with us . We ordered online and walked a block from our hotel and brought it back to the room to eat. The interior of the place is cool and the people were nice. I don't generally like thin pizza, but this was really good. I'd say this is more of a 4.5...the thing keeping it from a 5 is the price. This thing cost me $32 plus a tip. It's worth a look if you're in town.

This is a pizza place I always have to visit when I make my way to Columbus (from 3 hours away). I love the spicy pepperoni and the garlic sauce is so good. They sell the pizza by the very large slice or by the pie. The decor of the shop is so cool too!

Update 12/2/25. After posting my review, Mikey's did everything to make it right. They refunded my order and sent me a gift card to use in the future. Therefore I'm updating my 1 star to 4. Will update again once I am back to use the gift card!

My husband has named this "the best pizza in the world." He gets the pepperoni and I get vegan. It is amazing vegan pizza and I love that they also have the dips available for me. He gets 3 pieces and KILLS them, but you could easily have one piece and be completely full. lol We live in Dayton so we stop in frequently when we come to town for CBJ games. The marketing is fantastic and the ambience is killer. We enjoy hanging out and crowd watching while we eat a slice (or 3 haha). The service is always great too. Extremely friendly and makes you feel like you belong there! Calling me queen?! Giving me special vegan ranch?!? Yes, please and thank you!!

Was in the area looking for a slice of pizza and came across this gem! The pizza was good and service was quick and friendly.

If you go late, know that the line will be long. Stay in it though. It's well worth it for weary stomachs in need of late-night pizza. We had someone stake out our spot and hold a booth for us while in line. The decorations are quirky and there's always something to see while you're standing waiting. Chances are if you're staggering around after dark, you'll come to this place as it's basically the only spot in the area that is open so late. It was great!

We were at origins game fair, and one of the companies got a bunch of us pizza to share while gaming. As a self proclaimed New York pizza snob I always like to see what's out there. This slice did not disappoint with really flavorful pizza. Crust was nice and crispy, and the pizza overall was not too greasy even with the pepperoni. I also found that the spice they use for some added flavor really works well with their cheese and sauce. Definitely more basil in the flavor, which to me is a great thing. Based on this and the experiences of other gamers, I met this is absolutely a great place to go for a wonderful slice.

This place is an absolute late night treasure and really hits in the wee hours. The service leaves a bit to be desired, but what can you expect? Recommended, if you're looking for a late night guilty grub spot, it does get crowded tho. That spicy unicorn sauce is DELICIOUS!

This place I would give an 11 out of 10 because as a native New Yorker, the vibe was immaculate, from the music and service staff who were patient, friendly and helpful. Now the food, let me preface by saying I'm a pizza snob and the pizza here was delicious very close to a NYC style pizza! When you're in Columbus, Ohio DEFINITELY go visit and get yourself a slice or pie!

Walking by before the show.

Great pizza and efficient service. We stopped in after Dave Matthews at Nationwide. The line was a few people out of the door. Maybe a half hour. Great New York style pizza. I just had the spicy pepperoni and the wife had a vegan BBQ chicken imposter. Mine was what you would expect and hers had a great taste for a bunch of fake stuff trying to be cheese and chicken.

Delicious foldable slices with equally-yummy options for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. The spicy unicorn sauce is a game changer.

Ask the Community - Mikey's Late Night Slice

Can kids go in the pizza shop?

Absolutely! After 11pm, it can be a little crazy. But as long as they're not trying to order booze, they'll be as welcome as any other guest!

Are children allowed at Sacred Palms?

I’m very sorry. It’s 21 and over only.

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer.

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

We started with the Parmesan breadsticks and got both the garlic butter and pizza sauce for dipping. I took one bite with the pizza sauce and immediately thought, "Yep. THAT'S IT." Something about their red sauce just does not work for me. It's incredibly thick -- almost like drywall mud -- and while it definitely has flavor, it's just not a flavor my taste buds enjoy. HOWEVER...the breadsticks with the garlic butter?! Some of the best I've had. Seriously delicious. So this time I decided to avoid the red sauce altogether and ordered the chicken pesto pizza. And THAT was the move! It was fantastic. The crust was perfect, the toppings were delicious and plentiful, and the pesto worked so much better for me. My daughter devoured her BBQ chicken pizza, my sister thoroughly enjoyed her six cheese, and those breadsticks were so good that I ordered another batch to take home. Our server was super friendly and efficient and the vibe inside was chill. So after all these years, I can finally say it: I DO like Adriatico's! ...I just have to stay far, far away from that red sauce.
