Heading to a different place for happy hour we got side tracked as we passed Gloria's and turned…read morearound to check it out. Glad we did! It is a huge place. Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! That surely made her day extra special and memorable.

Visited Gloria Sports & Spirits during happy hour and ordered a mix of happy hour items and regular…read moremenu offerings. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The Good: Gloria Fries Gloria spice, Cooper sharp cheese sauce, truffle parm aioli. Easily one of the highlights. Well-seasoned, indulgent, and flavorful. The dipping sauces were very good. Especially the cooper sharp cheese sauce. $8 happy hour price, normally $10. Truffle Shuffle Pizza EVOO, mozzarella, mushroom, truffle honey, rosemary. The best of the three pizzas we ordered. Balanced flavors, well-executed, and this pizza truly delivered! Definitely worth the $10 price, otherwise $19 regular price. Boardwalk Pizza with Pepperoni Bianco Di Napoli sauce, mozzarella, fior di latte, parm, oregano. Solid pizza with good flavor and balance. Paid $12 happy hour price, otherwise it is $19. Just Okay: Stuffed Grape Leaves Mediterranean-style dolmas with lemon rice. Fine, nothing memorable. $7 1/2-Pound Smash Burger Two smash-seared patties, Cooper sharp cheese, LTO, umami sauce, toasted brioche bun. Decent burger, but didn't stand out considering the price of $16 Not So Great: Margherita Pizza Bianco Di Napoli sauce, fior di latte, basil, EVOO. Came out burnt (as shown in the photo), which is hard to overlook. Fortunately we only paid $10 (happy hour price) regular price $18 Jumbo Wings Ten pieces served with buttermilk blue cheese, celery, and carrots. These should not be labeled "jumbo" as there isn't anything jumbo about these wings. At $1.50 per wing, they're overpriced and not worth it. Final Thoughts: Gloria Sports and Spirits describes itself as an elevated dining experience, but that mostly seems to translate to elevated prices. I would only recommend ordering from the happy hour menu. The pizzas aren't worth the nearly $20 price tag, and the wings are neither jumbo nor a good value. One final note: root beer is apparently the only soda without unlimited refills. It's $5 per order, which isn't disclosed until the bill arrives. An unpleasant surprise. Overall, for future visits I'll be sticking strictly to the happy hour menu. And that's all I can recommend for anyone else when visiting Gloria Sports and Spirits.

Never heard of this place but a client recommended it. So we met here today for lunch…read more It's out by some railroad tracks and did not seem like I was going to a restaurant. I wonder his they chose this spot. It's got a diner feel but seems like they want to be a little more upscale. I got a orange cranberry salad with mandarin and pecans and chicken. It was absolutely delicious. Not sure what they do with the dressing. It was a creamy berry infused vinaigrette. Very good. Client got an Italian sausage sandwich and it was pretty large. You get a lot of food here. I'd come here again. People were nice. Portions were good.

In order to speed up the wait we were offered to sit on the patio but that was a mistake on our part. They said the patio had fans and shouldn't be that hot but unfortunately it was still hot. Regardless of the fact that it was so hot ( we either had to wait or tough it out) it was our choice that we made to sit outside so I can't blame them for that. The food was excellent. The cheesesteak was absolutely delicious and the fish and chips come with big pieces of fish. Our service was also so kind as well and I felt bad that we had her serving us outside in the heat. I hope to come again and enjoy the nice air conditioning

What you are seeing is ONE POUND of Rib Eye steak…read more The owners of the Iron Oven have gone batshit crazy. Like everybody else, they've jacked up the prices to unrecognizable levels. But when they did, they doubled the size of many of the entrees, apps, and sandwiches. Size matters, but not much if the food isn't good. The food at Iron Oven is great. The quality is sensational. From the first bite to the half you'll take home, you will enjoy every morsel. How do I know? Name another restaurant that you'll wait to get seated at when it's not breakfast, lunch, or dinner hour on a week (work) day? When we arrived at 1 p.m., we briefly waited to get seated, as the place and the parking lot were full. When we left at 2:30, it was still jammed. Iron Oven isn't Steak 48 or The Love. It doesn't pretend to be. Put another way, imagine the casual menu of TGI Friday or Applebee's, using the same ingredients as Steak 48. Lunch will cost about $25-$30 per person. (The cheesesteak with fried onions shown was $23.) Check out the diverse menu. https://www.ironoven.com/menus/

My partner enjoyed a Bang Bang Chicken sandwich with a large breaded, moist, chicken cutlet. Yummy! Our fries were crispy, not greasy, and very tasty. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in a rustic decor. The pleasant, efficient, server was icing on the cake. We will be returning to sample more of this vast menu. Give it a shot and let me know about your experience. In response to your request I would instruct your staff to stop congregating by the Kitchen door in ear shot of your patrons talking about their dates, families and other nonsense. I would also tell them that when ice falls on the floor they should pick it up and not kick it under the bar. These things speak to their training and their indifference towards housekeeping. BTW what seemed to be a manager, male, was also partaking in the gaggle. Not a good look.
