Miguelitos Mexican Restaurant - Nachos made out of the ingredients from the taco party - Mexican Near Me - Sanger, Texas

The food was good but how long have I come here to be screwed over not looking close at the tab... there is a 5 percent upcharge for card .. not a big deal if told ahead of checkout ... understand the card companies charge ...$14.99 for a house margarita is way too high and I did ask for next up in the tequila add $2... again not told ... service seemed off ... there but never right time...portion size to cost , only my opinion too high.. again food doesn't disappoint... pay cash ... drink water and drink at home read more

Miguelitos Mexican Restaurant - Steak Curado- order it as is (hot) I had to scrape off peppers but the flavor was fabulous! - Mexican Near Me - Sanger, Texas

Food is average, at both restaurants (Sanger and Krum), nothing special in my opinion. Service wasn't great nor horrible, waitresses didn't seem to want to be there. The ambience is less mexican feeling than Panchos, food use to be better at Panchos too. read more

We love Miguelito's! It's the classic hole in the wall tex mex. The service is excellent and the food is straight up comfort food. Don't forget the margaritas! read more

Miguelitos Mexican Restaurant - #3 with charro beans, crispy beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice and guacamole salad - Mexican Near Me - Sanger, Texas

We had a party of 6. Everyone's food was fantastic. The chicken in my chicken fajitas was real chicken (unlike some restaurants with a by product). The only thing I'd change about the fajitas is use more red and green peppers and dice/slice up the onions smaller/thinner. Margaritas were on point!!! The service by our waitress and the entire waitstaff for that matter was awesome. We felt like VIP's. Highly recommended Miguelitos Mexican restaurant to everyone. read more

When this native Texan gets a chance to come home, this is one of my favorite spots. The cheese enchiladas are off the chain! Super simple, but packed with flavor. This is what Tex-Mex is about!! read more

Miguelitos Mexican Restaurant - Cheese Enchiladas - Mexican Near Me - Sanger, Texas

We stopped in as we were in the area after purchasing something off of FaceBook Marketplace. We were seated by the same person who waited on us. He was a little odd in that he never actually looked us in the eye. He would slide things on our table as he was passing buy or ask us questions and we would say our answers to him as he walked past. It was a little strange. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and hubs ordered the chili relleno stuffed with ground beef. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. On the spicy side but went well with the crackers that came on the side. Chips are fresh and salsa is just right. This place has lots of parking and is easy to get to. You can get off and on the highway pretty easy. Place is decorated nice and staff are everywhere so it's got the people needed to wait on you so service isn't slow at all. If I was in the area I would visit again. read more

The food was mediocre at best, nothing special but not horrible. Standard service and waiters looked presentable, but the restaurant itself looked like an office building, fans all around, low ceilings and ugly wall color. Meh read more

we e enjoy a nice dinner Friday night with the family. The price was great. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. It's a great spot. If you wanna have a nice meal with your family that's still affordable. We will be back and ask for this waiter, Roaul! read more

This was our go to for 25 years. From the start when they were in a tiny little building on the other side of I-35. Many of the regular staff left & the food quality & service has suffered greatly. We would love to support them again at some point, but it's gonna take change. read more

Food was only okay. Pretty bland. Waitress was not at all friendly. Never refilled our drinks. Won't be back.

This is a solid place to eat Mexican food in Sanger. Service is usually very good. The ambiance allows for conversation in a typical restaurant environment. The carne asada has fantastic taste and texture. The enchiladas and tacos are typical for this style of restaurant. All in all it is a very good experience in the Sanger area. read more

We gave this place another chance, and it was delicious! Their sautéed veggies and stuffed avocado were amazing

Not sure this restaurant would get a 4-star in San Diego, but for Texas it is pretty good (especially in a small town like Sanger) The wait was pretty long because they don't use a bunch of tables due to COVID spacing. Don't see much logic is leaving so many tables "X-out" as there is no scientific evidence this has any positive effect. Especially since most people wear masks that are not effective for Virus spread. The chips and salsa is above average. It would be better if it was chunkier and a little more spicy. They bring it to the table with lots of salsa very quickly. The menu has a pretty good selection from combo plates to speciality dishes. My wife ordered a taco salad and compared to what we are used to in California it was average. Fairly small and not much guacamole, cilantro and other ingredients. I ordered a Chile relleno with shrimp and it was excellent. The melted cheese on top was very good. It came with rice, beans and a small salad. I would give this dish a 5-star The drinks come in very large glasses and they do a good job at refills The cost for 4 adults was $52 plus tip. We all ordered soft drinks or ice tea. Sanger is not a large town and not sure there are many options for better food than this restaurant. When we go there we will likely come back for lunch again. read more

The food was ok but I did not receive my rice and I really wanted rice.So pls give people there rice

My husband and I walked into the restaurant. No signage as to whether we should seat ourselves or be seated...near the back of the restaurant were four restaurant workers laughing and rolling silverware into napkins. They glanced up, but didn't move to seat us, so we seated ourselves in the only open booth. When the waitress walked over to us, she said, "Didn't they give you any silverware?" I said that we seated ourselves because there was no employee at the front door. She was belligerent and told us that we should have waited because no one knows to come to our table. Major attitude. The food reminded me of a Patio frozen dinner, but the salsa and chips were good. We are from Oklahoma and have wanted to stop at this restaurant for awhile. We wonder why now. The rude waitress ruined our experience and the "okay" food was unremarkable. We won't stop at this restaurant again. read more

Great food and enjoyed the visit - it's a great place to stop while riding a motorcycle.

Like who the F! Makes enchiladas cover in sour cream. This place needs to revisit the their culture. Guacamole good. Also the young lady that sat us down was screaming and yelling at a poor little Mexican lady telling her that "she don't care give her a call" I think her name was Raily and she had her friend sitting at a table drinking and eating and cursing up a storm. I will not eat here again. Food was not great. I'm only giving it a two for the guacamole read more

This place used to be my fav Mexican place in the area but lately it's been hit and miss. The past 4 times we did a pickup order, 2 were not exactly what we ordered. They either left off a meal or they got order wrong. Not great odds. Good news is that they made it right. But I have to honest, I'm a little gun shy at this point read more

Food is solid, not fantastic but solid. The friendliness of the staff from the moment you walk in needs some work. The hostesses are not a great first impression and the waitstaff we have had have very little personality. Just basic service with no attempt to be friendly or appreciative of you giving them business. Been here 5 times and everything I mentioned above has been very consistent. Solid food with less than friendly enthusiast staff. read more

Best staff and food you can get. Been coming here for at least 10 years now. Always greater with a smile and a great attitude.

We have been here before and enjoyed their food and margaritas. However, the published closing time is not accurate. The last two times we went we arrived well before 10:00, but while there were several people still inside, the doors were locked. So disappointed. read more

All hype and no bang. The food was average at best. Very bland. The service was ok. We were told how great this place was but they are nothing to write home about. Taco Bell has better flavor than this place. Keep driving and get an Allsup's burrito. read more

Food is pretty good. Shared the sampler appetizer. Service was fine even when understaffed. Great chips and salsa!

We usually don't have any complaints about this place but today was a different story. My wife and I ordered something new. I ordered the carne loco and she ordered the pollo loco. We both asked our waitress if we can substitute our salad for extra rice, she flat out said no, which was strange since when we usually ask for substitutions there's no issues but she told us she got yelled at last time by Micheal for asking for substitutions. We said fine just no salad then we got our food. Mine tasted fine but it was over cooked and hers was dry. The guacamole and charro bean soup were amazing as usual. I guess it was because we came on a Saturday and we usually come on Fridays that our experience was different. read more

We've ordered from Miguelitos several times and each time we hope they've got a new chief but last night was our last time. Shrimp tacos had some very small shrimp and very little of it, no lettuce, some pico de gallo in a separate container, but the worst of it all was the taste, it was just horrible. I'll drive ten minutes further from now on. read more

Been here numerous times .. In a word, epic. For starters best chips & salsa I've ever had. We visited the Sanger location for the first time. The service was good. We had a party of 4 and everyone ordered something different so we could all try the dishes. All of them were flavorless. Nobody likes their food at all. I'm not sure what people rave about. Will definitely not be back. read more

Great warm, salty corn chips and delicious salsa are given upon arrival. It seems like everyone gets their own little bowl of salsa so you get to double dip to your heart's content! I have been twice and enjoyed both entrees. The first time I had the stuffed avocado, which i really liked. The 2nd time I had Shrimp a la Parrilla. I LOVE sautéed veggies and this comes with a generous portion. The shrimps are large and covered in cheese. Pretty sure I've found a new favorite. read more
