Migration Brewing was only two blocks from where we stayed so we decided to pop in for a quick drink and snacks. I got the Mezcal Negroni and it was delicious! Honestly not that smoky for mezcal. We also got the Cauliflower Wings and Fries. The Cauliflower wings came with so many and was pretty good. Migration Brewing is a good place for a chill vibe. The staff was also nice!

Brewery with a good bar menu of different types of burgers. Lot is indoor and outdoor sitting space. It's in an area of residential and other restaurants/bars, so parking is really hard to find.

Stopped here for a quick bite and some beers and we had a nice time! The staff were friendly, the beer was good, and I don't know if it's just because they're shoestring fries but they're the best fries we've ever had! We will be back again

Nice outdoor patio. Good beers, I like the burger/beer combo deal that they offer as well. Good brewery if you have kids as well

The Straight Outta Portland IPA.

Migration Brewing has quite a few locations in the Portland area and you can get their cans in Washington state at bottle shops. So all in all this is a fairly large company. The beer I had the other night from Migration I believe may have been my first one from this brewery which is kind of surprising to me. But don't hold me to that. Straight Outta Portland was the beer I had. It was an IPA and not really a specific kind either. Just a typical one. It had a bitter, floral and tropical taste to it. Not the most memorable beer I've come across but at the same time fairly refreshing which wins a four star rating for this brewery location.

It is a solid place to come for some good food and a chill atmosphere. They have a good outside patio and a spacious interior. You order from the counter and will get your food and beverage from a server. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Their burger special was one of the better ones in town. The shoestring fries here are also solid.

Pop up

Stopped add a pop-up tent along the water for some beer. I cannot speak for the brick and mortar because I've never been there, but I did stop to have some of their beer at a pop-up farmers market right next to the water. It was the perfect stop on a hot day, they are a few different choices we went with something A little more cool and crisp, I believe it was their logger. The beer was tasty. I would definitely try other migration beers in the future!

Indoor distance seating and bar

Came on chilly fall day to chat with some friends. They have decent indoor spacing and outdoor tent / bench for this Covid time and all the right protocal, outdoors with space heaters but be ready to have a few layers on as it is still cold unless you are an eskimo. Pretty MEH selection of food and beers you'd expect for a Portlandia place. Not bad, not a thing amazing over the many other choices, street parking can be hit or miss but you come because you are a local as nothing notable to make a drive versus the many other choices in town

Mac and cheese and BEYOND whatever vegan burger patty.

The beer is great here! The food is meh. Stand in line to order at the bar. No one gave us silverware/napkins with our food. Not on the tables either. We grabbed some. The portions are small and the prices are up there for the meh food and small portions. Great for beers, but not for a meal. The music they had on was really good, but a bit loud. Lots of seating inside and out. Nice patio. So decent place.

Interesting lighting

Went on a Wednesday after bomb Ramen down the street so there was no crowd but this place can hold a lot of people out front, indoor and outback. Rain coverage is great and they supply heat upon request. Burgers and great beer. We had the Fresh Hop Pale and it's my favorite Pale I've had in a long while. Pina Colada Sour was interesting. A few TVs for sports. Staff was nice. We'll be back for more beers and burgers next round. Cheers and beers y'all!

The patty was cooked with a slight pink -- exactly how it should be -- juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The spring lettuce was an interesting switch from the usual, but it actually worked and gave the burger a fresh bite. It's a solid-sized burger too, definitely filling. Only minor thing was some of the cheese slid off, but nothing that took away from it overall. I also tried the Caesar salad. It didn't come with croutons (not sure if that's intentional), and while the dressing was evenly coated, the Parmesan was a bit heavy and ended up overpowering the rest. Not bad, just not as balanced as it could be. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's put together in a way that makes you forget you're even in the city -- relaxed, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Service was easily a 10/10. Attentive without being overbearing, respectful, and genuinely friendly -- the kind of staff that makes the experience better without trying too hard. Overall, a really solid spot. I'd come back without hesitation.

Their tap list is extensive but also includes non-standard options. We love to see non-alcoholic beers as well as gluten free beer, cider, cocktails, and other libations. The food menu is great too. There are several items that either come gluten free or can be modified to be. The servers are knowledgeable about the ingredients of the menu items and I feel confident and safe eating here when gluten free is a need for me. They can get pretty crowded, but have several seating options. It was nice out today so outdoor seating was even possible, though it looked like there was a wait. There are tvs in several spots that showcase local sports when possible. There is a kids area and you can sit close while the kids play. Everyone we come in contact with here from servers to hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good. This time around, we shared the garlic Parmesan fries and the chicken wings (buffalo and honey gojuchang sauces). The wings were smoked and moist with good flavor. The fries were alright. More of the aioli would have helped so maybe request extra sauce or get some on the side. The dessert menu has some non-traditional offerings. The highlight for me was the cheesecake. I was assured by a server one time that the chef creates a gluten free cheesecake that rotates on the seasonal dessert menu. The current offering is tiramisu. The coffee chocolate sauce is good and I appreciated the bonus chocolate chip biscotti. The actual cheesecake is decent and I would be excited to try other flavors in the future.

Great rooftop vibe and a fun place to hang out for an afternoon. We ordered a beer flight, and as someone who's had quite a few brewery flights and is pretty open-minded when it comes to beer, this one unfortunately missed the mark for me. Out of the 10 beers, only about 3 were somewhat enjoyable and around 4 were honestly undrinkable. Thankfully, the food redeemed things a bit. We got the pizza with artichoke hearts, mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, and basil. It was super flavorful and the dough was delicious, especially the crust. We also tried the catfish po' boy. It was a little salty, but the fish itself was cooked really well and the sauce was tasty. The spring mix salad with cranberries, slivered almonds, and feta was good too, though I personally would've liked a better toppings-to-lettuce ratio. Overall, I'd come back for the rooftop and food, but probably know to expect mediocre brews.

We ordered a salad and it took about 45 minutes to come out. Their kale Caesar was way better than I thought it would be for a bar! Very fresh with a delicious dressing. Simple with pepitas, kale and raddicio. Cheese and dressing. Their beers are some of my favorite from a local brewery. Their Cloud Mentality is a good choice for IPAs. The line gets long for the bar and there's no way to close your tab if you leave it open unless you're willing to wait in the line again to pay. If you don't do that you will be automatically charged 20% gratuity which is a good deal to not have to line up just to close out.

The fantasy and the Dungeons & Dragons themes are really fun and totally calls to me. So therefore with our first experience here I stocked up on a lot of swag- shirts! My first beer with this brewery was a Red Ale or Amber Ale, The Lady of Embers. This was a very enjoyable first time beer with this brewery. Flavor features in this beer are Caramel, a roastiness, maltiness, biscuity and a dry finish. It proved to be a fun beer to try out for the first time and we were eager to come back and try more of their beers. A bit of time passed and we were able to do that. This time we got three different beers of different types to give us a well rounded experience with their beers. Cascade Falls was the first beer on the second experience that we delved into. This beer is a Cream Ale and I haven't had one in a while so I was quite eager to get a hold of another one again. This particular Cream Ale had peaches and vanilla as the primary flavors and they were pretty good. It was sweet but not heavy handed which made this beer pleasant. This beer was a collaboration beer with another brewery, Thunder Island Brewing Company. After that I moved into dark beer territory and got a stout by the name of The Ashbringer. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because I enjoyed the flavor profile so very much! This stout has flavor highlights of roastiness, a spiced presence, coffee, chocolate and some clove. It was a really well made stout...well balanced and one I really got into. I believe actually this was my favorite beer out of the several I have tried. The last beer was a Marzen beer, a type that isn't too terribly common but always a good one when I can get a hold of it. The name of this beer was the Hasta La Raiz. This is a nice light bodied beer that has maltiness, roastiness, some fruitiness and a bit of a floral presence. It was a fun one to try out for sure. TPK Brewing also serves food and it's quite good! We grazed off of several different appetizers here that we really enjoyed. The first one was the Yuca Frita which was Yucca cut into big, thick French Fries sort cuts and we dipped it into a green sauce as well as a pico de gallo type of dip which enhanced the experience. In addition to that we got a beef empanada that Steve and I split along with the same sauces...also excellent and then to round out our snacking here we got the Arepitas De Queso which is a white masa cake mixed with cheese and then deep fried. It also had the same sauces as the previous two appetizers but we were fine with that... we were all about it and deep into it. Steve and loved this place and would be thrilled to come back to enjoy more of their food and beers !

If you are not playing Magic the Gathering or D&D, you will feel like the 'weird one'! Beers are good, with a couple lagers, a stout, and some IPA's. The food is surprising! You'd think they'd phone-it-in, but there's a great selection of Latin food. Everything from Cubanos to bowls to burritos.
