The best macarons in town can be found at miFLAVOUR. This modern French bakery offers macarons that are a bigger size than the standard ones you'll likely find other places. You can pick out your own or get a pre-set bundle. My only issue with the macarons is the lid on the container. It just kind of rests on the container, not really securing the macaron should the lid fall off. If macarons aren't your thing, there are also a lot of other fun desserts here like fruit tarts and cakes. If you can't make it out to the E. Sprague location, you can find miFLAVOUR's macarons around town at stories such as Huckleberries and Rocket Market. Although, the café itself is worth a visit since there are plenty of tables and the inviting space encourages one to stay a while. It's really the perfect place to catch up with a friend while sharing a pastry.

This bakery blew me away. The artisan bakery goods are 5 Star fantastic! The prosciutto Apple Brie croissant sandwich was pitch perfect. Latte was served hot, in a cognac glass. The fruit Pavlova was flawless. The classical piano music added to the modern vibe. The decor is creative, comfy and spotlessly clean. The video of bakers creating masterpieces has high production value and I couldn't stop watching it. Like poetry in motion. Haha

Overpriced. Just had the chocolate raspberry Swiss roll. Prob old cuz it's dried and the raspberry cream didn't taste good neither. Swiss rolls at grocery store prob way better than this. Will try the apple cinnamon later and see.

3 macarons, key lime pie, and red velvet cake.

They girl I ordered from was pleasant. I got a key lime pie, three macorons, red velvet cake, chocolate swiss roll and the hazelnut cake. The key lime pie was like all others, the macaroons were good and I REALLY liked the hazelnut cake. The place itself is very clean, though i personally am not a fan of all white rooms atmosphere. The plants by the window are cute.

The croissants? Amazing! The best I've had in Spokane. But the true delicacy here is the experience of feeling like an inconvenience just for existing. Five stars for ambiance if you enjoy the thrill of mild hostility with your midday pastry. I don't know what was flakier, the pastries or their customer service. Today, my visit was particularly disappointing. Both my boyfriend and I are diabetic, and I simply asked a staff member if she knew the carbohydrate count for the almond croissant. I completely understand if this information isn't readily available, but what I don't understand--or accept--is the dismissive and passive-aggressive response I received. Her exact words were: "Since we're a small business, we don't need to know these things." When I explained that I wasn't expecting her to know but that it would be helpful due to my diabetes, she responded with even more attitude: "Well, we don't know." A simple, polite response like, "I'm sorry, I don't have that information" would have been perfectly fine. Instead, I was met with unnecessary sass, making an already frustrating situation worse.

Absolutely amazing bakery. The pastries not only look incredible but also taste delicious! I've had everything from plain croissants, macarons, to my own custom wedding cake. They recently had croissant donuts available and, wow, the texture and flavors were SO good!

miFLAVOUR always hits the spot. Delicious desserts (got the fruit tart today) and the drinks quench your thirst. My go to here is the iced chai tea with lavender and vanilla - 10/10. It's on the corner of Sprague and Freya. The inside has tons of seating and the best part is they have fast wifi if you need to work on your laptop.

Such a cute spot w delicious delicate pastries. The location is a bit random but i would be back for their pastries and gelato!! Somewhat new in the area.

Food- tasted food and the macaroons were larger than expected. My daughters loved the fruity pebble, passion fruit but I myself didn't care for the coffee one. They had a lot of options for pastries that range in price starting at about $8 and up. Another cool thing g is that they make inhouse candy bars with your choice of chocolates and toppings. Service - good Ambiance- we absolutely loved the decor is was so aesthetic with multiple places to take pictures at. I only have quick photos but trust in person is much better.

Incredibly beautiful bakery. I love the interior design - it has a luxurious and clean feeling. Besides sweets, there are coffee/other drinks to order. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about each item. Fast service as well. You can choose to take out or eat in the bakery. They will provide plates and utensils if you decide to stay. Having been to Paris, the prices and quality are actually comparable to miFLAVOUR; 1 pastry can be $6-10 and the quality is near perfection. Macarons are more expensive here than it was in France. We got 3 items and there were all very delicious. None were overly sweet. The tiramisu's mascarpone cheese was light and creamy. Raspberry is slightly tart (which I like). The location is out of the way and there is limited parking, but I would love to come back to try other items. 4.5/5

I found them on social media and we really wanted to try them for an upcoming birthday. The cake did not disappoint! We purchased the Famous Chocolate Cake. It was delicious!! The location leaves a little to be desired, but the inside is very nice.

I. LOVE. MiFLAVOUR! One of the only times I don't ever complain about the price XD. This little French patisserie is worth it every cent. They have such a huge menu and it's all good, I'm not kidding. They have both sweet and savory items (limited savory fair warning)! Their staff is as sweet as their desserts and they're always willing to take their time explaining flavors and to take long orders. I topped in for their limited time beignets. We tried the huckleberry flavor, classic, tiramisu, as well as their veggie sandwich and ham and cheese croissants. Their coffee was immaculate to boot. I really can't recommend them enough. Only down side is limited seating and parking!

What a great place to have a pastry and a cup of fresh brewed iced tea. This is our go to spot for breakfast when we're in Spokane. The chocolate croissant is one of the best I've had. It's my go to when we visit a bakery and the croissants here are great. This last visit we had a berry, cream cheese Danish style croissant pastry and it was wonderful. We've been to Spokane, thanks to work five times in the last 20 months and we were here at least twice each time. Don't miss out if you're in the area.

Love how cute this place is! This is the perfect place to go to whenever I am looking for an add on a gift for a friend. They have such great quality desserts and I love the macarons. My personal favorites include the lavender and rosewater ones. I also tried the rose latte, and it was really good! A bit on the milky side, but rose in itself isn't very potent so I wasn't expecting much. We also got the coffee and pistachio macarons as pictured. Can't wait to come back! read more

So excited to have discovered this sweet spot, no pun intended! Only complaint, no tip jar and when I offered a cash tip, she graciously refused. We loved Mi Flavour desserts before their storefront opened. We went to My Fresh Basket just for the macarons. Now that their store is open and we are looking for wedding dessert options, we've come a few times. They never disappoint!! Ella is so friendly and takes the time to genuinely help us with any questions we've had. Not only that, but the desserts are amazing!! I have loved every single thing I've tried. The macarons are bigger than most, and look perfect. That alone sold us on wanting to use them for our wedding desserts. Ella's great customer service just added to our entire experience. My husband and I were driving by and saw the flashing open sign and turned around to check it out. What a wonderful French bakery! I had the almond croissant, which was phenomenal and my husband had a macaron which he said was amazing. The staff is wonderful, super friendly and very knowledgeable and the inside was super clean and well designed. They put a lot of nice touches into the modern design. Review of Macarons: Picked up 8 different types at Rocket Bakery. They looked pretty good, a tad sloppy, and are generously sized. At $2.50 a'piece they're priced well. The rest is kinda downhill. The biggest disappointment was the texture, which wasn't chewy at all. To me, a good chew is the best thing about Macarons. These were crunchy/dry outside and relatively wet inside. The bites just dissolved to mush. My best guess is they got stale Flavors were pretty good. A decent amount of acidity in fruit flavors. A little too sweet for some probably. read more

Randomly came across this place and it was a pleasant surprise. It's what you'd find in NYC, London or Paris. Super hip, cool and their desserts are absolutely delicious. You can tell they put a lot of hard work and love into making their desserts. It's about time Spokane gets something that's different. They're remodeling but everyone that walks in, you can see them smile. The owners are a couple and they're awesome! It was fine........really cute on the inside, but almost so modern it's clinical. But, this is the kind of place that it is either your kind of place or not your kind of place. I am not going to knock down any stars for that because it is not their fault, but it's not my kind of place. It all looks delicious, but being a French bakery means it doesn't cater to your typical fare like cookie bars and cheesecake. What I had (salted caramel cake) was good, but not something I would typically order or would order again. Four desserts cost 32 bucks. read more

Delicious elegant French pastries (mostly croissants and macaroons). Very tasty and authentic. The space is modern and has a pastry case that will dazzle the senses. Some friends told me about this amazing place. The front of the building is under construction do not let that deter you park in between the furniture store and the appliance store walk along the side of the appliance store and the entrance is on the right. miFLAVOUR sign on door enter white hallway follow the signs to some of the best pastry in Spokane. My family and I recently visit miFlavour for the first time last Sunday before the state shut down in door service due to COVID. We were extremely impressed with the coffee and atmosphere. Came here last night and this morning. I got nothing but great experince from the service to food and conversations with the whole team. They make their goods fresh daily. From an almost empty glass case last night to a full display this morning as early as 8:30 am. I urge you guys to check them out and give them a try. Love the pastries. Over-sized croissants and macrons are true traditional French. Love the decor. Service is slow, just like in France. Gelato is not great. First pint I got was grainy. Took it back and got a new one. Not great taste so I'm sticking with the pastries. I could eat them everyday. read more

Max and Ella were so professional and nice to work with. They made us the most beautiful wedding cake! They also worked well with our other vendors, making sure that the flowers got delivered for the cake and that the cake was delivered on time to our venue so that it would still be cold by the time we cut into it. I'm having a wedding next year and I was searching for a bakery. I found miFlavor from a google search. Their website is esthetically pleasing but doesn't have any information. I emailed miFLAVOUR and I didn't get a prompt response and it was acknowledged by the owner, she apologized as they were working on their new location. I overlooked this and I was still interested in having a cake sample. I asked what flavors she had and if I could pick up the samples on a specific date. When I asked if the date would be ok (two-three weeks notice), I never heard anything back from the owner. Even though I received poor service - I still gave the business the benefit of the doubt. I went to miFLAVOUR the day I asked if I could get tastings. I bought a couple macaroons and their hazelnut cake. The cake was not good. I think I got a raspberry macaroon, not the best but better than the cake by a little bit. And I bought the hazelnut macaroon, this was surprisingly good. While I was there I asked the woman checking me out if they had more flavors for order than the ones in the case, she said those were the only flavors. But after looking at pictures of people's cakes- I believe this was incorrect. Very nice. Overall, this business provides poor customer service and not the best quality products. But at least their website and products are visually pleasing, because that's all they have going for them. read more

miFLAVOUR offers a variety of desserts, savories, beverages, and services. From fresh churned Italian gelato, fresh squeezed orange juice, chewy macarons, crisp croissants, and decadent cakes to services like corporate gifting, wedding cakes, custom cakes and even catering services, miFlavour’s offerings are vast enough to delight any taste or occasion. But what makes them different? Is it the widespread taste range or the knowledge that each item is carefully created to be a delight to all the senses? While those are true, the truly most unique thing about miFLAVOUR is the standard to create every single piece of every single item from scratch by hand. The cake decorations to the chocolate coated candied oranges to the finishing garnishes on every item is created by hand from the incredible bakers behind the scenes. It is also that miFLAVOUR’s standard is to search locally for the finest ingredients, but Max and Ella aren’t afraid to import those things that are just incomparable to the ingredient’s birthplace.

History

Established in 2016.

While we all know the classic tale of boy meets girl, this one has a journey to the sweetest of ends. Max and Ella Piskun met and began dating several years ago. Ella, being the amazing pastry chef she is, made Max the now famous Adeo Jr. for their second date. It was literally love at first bite. Max knew this creation and others like it needed to be shared with the world and his entrepreneur skills were just the thing to do it. They began talking about opening a modern French bakery. The more they did, the more they fell in love with the idea, but more importantly, in love with each other. They tied the knot and started miFLAVOUR. Through trials, kitchen disasters, and lots of love and laughter, they were able to bring the world the amazing café and bakery that miFLAVOUR is today. My husband and I got married on the 20th of December in a small ceremony to save money for a larger reception next year. We didn't plan on getting a cake bc we had such a tight budget, but my mom wanted us to have something to freeze for our anniversary so she ordered us a cake from here to surprise us and make our day a little more special. She ordered over the phone and then needed to make a change so she called back to change the writing on the cake. She asked the guy who she spoke to if she needed to email the information over and he said no and that he had it covered. My mom decided to email the information over anyway just to be safe. This was 1 month before the wedding. The day of, my dad picked it up, he didn't know what it was supposed to look like, but mentioned it didn't look great to my mom later when we arrived to the venue. When she opened the box it wasn't even close to what she ordered. Not even before she made the changes. We asked specifically for our last name in black writing and a certain font which they said they could do. We received an all white cake without our last name and the writing was not straight nor the font we requested. It almost looked like they forgot about us and went to the grocery store really quick. At this point it was too late to do anything and we were all leaving town for the holidays the next day so we left it in the box at dinner, skipped the cake cutting together and just took it home. We decided we would come talk to them after Christmas. We had a few bites out of it, but ended up throwing it away because it just wasn't very good anyway and by the time we got to talk to an employee, it would have been bad. Dec 26th my mom went in to see if we could have it remade so we could freeze it for our anniversary or refunded. The owner had the most disrespectful attitude saying between "ALL of the calls and emails" he couldn't keep up, and it was her fault. Mind you the cake wasn't even close to her original order either... He said he would refund her if we brought the original cake in (a week later). He kept trying to make her feel stupid with snide comments... Thankfully she stood her ground and didn't accept anything less than a full refund which he eventually gave her after arguing with her and making her cry, saying we should just be thankful they even made it in the first place because they normally don't even do things for "as cheap as $50" As she was walking out he said to her "If they still have the cake you should try it because it's really good..." as I mentioned before we threw it away because it was not very good... The whole experience was just very disheartening. We had heard such good things and maybe this was a one off situation, but we have a reception planned for over 200 people next year and we will absolutely not be ordering from here again. We are also in the event community and won't be sending recommendations here any longer after our personal experience. Making a mistake is one thing. Things happen especially around the holidays, but to push blame and verbally insult another person as a business owner is another. We are incredibly disappointed. I've always enjoyed visiting your establishment, the food is consistently excellent, and the staff is typically warm, attentive, and welcoming. However, my recent visit was disappointing and not reflective of the positive experiences I've come to expect. On this occasion, I encountered a staff member I hadn't seen before. I'm not sure if she's new, but her demeanor stood out in a negative way. She seemed disinterested and was quite curt throughout the interaction. When we experienced a payment issue, specifically with the card reader not accepting swipe or insert, and my boyfriend's card being unable to tap, we politely explained the situation ahead of time. Despite this, she insisted on directing us to use the tap feature, which we had already mentioned wouldn't work, and reacted with visible frustration when it failed. She then processed the payment on a different iPad but did so with an audible sigh and an irritated tone. Additionally, she skipped the usual rewards number prompt on both transactions, and I had to ask to enter my number manually. It felt like she was rushing us out rather than offering the friendly service I've experienced in the past. This was my boyfriend's first time visiting, and unfortunately, it left a poor impression. I had spoken highly of your service and hospitality, but this visit didn't reflect that standard. I believe some additional customer service training might be helpful to ensure all staff members provide a consistent and welcoming experience. Wow! This bakery has the most delicious desserts I have ever tried! They have a big variety of macaron flavors that are big in size and taste amazing! They have made me delicious custom cakes for my occassions and my personal favorite apple pie for my cravings.
