Updated 4.20.26: Today's visit was for the flavor return of Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl. It looked tasty behind the glass case and I was looking forward to trying it again. Service was great as usual and always with a friendly smile. For a sunny Monday afternoon, the ambiance was quite peaceful. Fast forward a few hours later and I finally sat down and busted into my Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl. Cake was moist and fluffy like usual, cream cheese frosting was spot on like usual, and I definitely tasted strawberry and crumbled graham crackers. However, the cheesecake taste wasn't overly noticeable. Not a bad thing at all and nonetheless, it was still a great tasting strawberry cake and still consistent on cake texture and cream cheese frosting flavor that NBC is known for. Everyone loved the cake, including myself and I normally don't care for cake but this cake was so moist and flavorful, you don't even need the icing with this cake! The online ordering option and pick up was a breeze and the staff was friendly. I love that they offer little bundlettes too because a whole bundt cake is just too much if you are craving something sweet but don't want to buy the whole cake! The cakes are really really delicious .. I know they are a chain but the cakes are as good as if they were a standalone bakery and a good one :) Cake was moist, soft .. absolutely lovely and it retained the texture even after refrigeration which was talks much about the quality of baking. Got their special flavour of the season .. lemon raspberry .. the cake, well I will say it again, was absolutely lovely. Not much of a frosting person but everyone said that it was spot on .. I still think it was a bit sweet .. but I am always judging things to be too sweet :D And if you are looking a cake with some special decorations and messages they do a pretty neat job with the ribbons and play cards .. the only concern might come in the form of thinking about eating the ribbons .. well they are just decorations .. not something which is edible :D I was asked this question by everyone who saw the cake .. I am a frosting person. Actually I'm a cream cheese person and cream cheese frosting is my absolute favorite frosting. I actually don't even like cake that much. I'll pick around the cake for all the frosting and filling and then move on like mmmm....I'm done. But then I tried the gluten free chocolate chip Bundt cake with buttermilk cream cheese frosting and I experienced true and utter happiness. The moistest most delectable little cake ever. Just so flavorful and it shocked my soul that it was gluten free. Seriously. Top. Notch. I learned about Nothing Bundt Cakes when they were offered at Wake Up Call. These delicious amazing and addictive "bundtlets" turned out to be a huge favorite for everyone in our family. We'd go all the time, I gave them to teachers and bus drivers, I served them at every holiday (they are THAT good). Seriously, just when I thought cake couldn't possibly be any better, these guys come along (or rather, I move to Spokane) and rock my world. Their cake is the bomb, every flavor - it's hands down the best cake I've had. You may think to yourself, "Jeez, how good could cake be, it's just cake, bro." ... How anyone could rate this place and product less than 5 stars is beyond me (and they haven't so far), and would surely signal a general aversion to life itself.
