This office has been extremely unprofessional and irresponsible throughout my treatment. I waited…read moreover two months for a crown due to poor dental impressions and repeatedly receiving incorrect crown measurements. After all that waiting, I was called THREE minutes before my scheduled appointment for crown placement and told there was an issue with delivery. They first claimed the delivery service "got lost," then changed the story to "he got into an accident," even though I had already been told the crown should have arrived the day before. The constantly changing explanations made the situation feel dishonest and poorly managed. Communication about charges has also been unclear and inconsistent, and no one could give me a straight answer about billing. As I had to request four different times for the office manager to email me the charges, and have not received an email till this day. I contacted corporate about these issues and was contacted by someone named Beth, who initially apologized and said she would take care of the situation. Unfortunately, she has since stopped providing solutions and appears to have aligned with the same unprofessional behavior instead of resolving the ongoing problems she said she would handle. When I tried to address these concerns directly with the office, the office manager was rude and dismissive rather than helpful or professional. I would avoid her at all costs as she has no idea what the charges shes taking are for. This experience showed a complete lack of organization, accountability, and respect for patients' time. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable or ethical dental care

This was my first visit to this office and it will be my last. prior to my appointment I received a call from the office confirming that my visit would be 100% covered by my insurance as it should be. I get to the office and I see the Doctor Who seems very friendly and personable at first, however, do not fall for her tactic. She looked at my teeth for maybe five seconds before telling me I had severe gum disease, even though I keep up with my cleanings regularly. Her male assistant came back with a payment of over $3000. I told him about the call I received that my insurance would be covering 100% and he started yelling got very frustrated and said that he would bet his "$150,000 car and $2 million apartment that nobody from this office called me saying that". I then said I would call my insurance and he kept trying to sidetrack me to prevent me from being able to call my insurance and kept talking over me. I called them anyway to confirm that I would have no payment for this visit. He then took my phone out of my hand and started yelling at the insurance company provider on the phone. At this point, I took my phone back and left the office. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. This office is a scam. These people are extremely unprofessional and rude, and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs! You will waste your time.

This place should be called " Center for Excellence in Ripping People Off"…read moreI give one star for the cleanliness. I urge people that are looking for a basic dental cleaning and have no dental complaints to stay away from this practice. I moved to midtown Miami and called my dental insurance to find a dentist within my network and because of the distance convenience I decided on this practice. While i was waiting in the waiting room, the dentist - without her mask on - started to give discharge instructions to a patient whom she had just finished doing a procedure on and was already paying for the service. I thought instructions were individual and private and not to be announced to the entire waiting room. Red flag!! Another red flag about the money-grubbing practices was the sign offering botox , collagen injections, and other cosmetic procedures. I have had the same dental insurance for 4 years and NEVER had to pay for basic cleaning. After xray was done, the dentist inspected my teeth and said "i will make your plan" . The assistant then came back with the dental plan that i posted and said i needed to pay $620 before i had my cleaning; then would cost me $135 out of my pocket for the basic cleaning. This practice bills for code D9630- other drugs and/or med ( this code is NOT COVERED BY ANY INSURANCE). Needless to say, i didn't agree with such planning and found another dentistry office where i had my dental cleaning and was told I DID NOT NEED ANY periodontal service because I dont have the disease. This practice makes up false diagnoses to get money and just rips people off. I strongly advise: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!

At that point, I thought I confirmed the appointment twice. However, today when I arrived, the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled my appointment without warning, quoting that I didn't respond to her by 3:42PM and as so she went ahead and cancelled it. No where in the prior messages did it say the appointment was at risk to be cancelled if I did not reply to the text message. Nor was this the case at the beginning of the year or during the last cleaning. I drove 20 minutes each way and took PTO attend. What's worse is when I tried to highlight the above point as constructive feedback, the representative did not want to read her messages and admit to the failure in communicating the risk of cancelling the appointment if I don't respond to the text message. I've had a least 100 doctor appointments over the last 5 years. I usually schedule them months if not a year in advance. Not a single doctor has ever canceled because I never responded to a text message. As I was trying to explain that there is no indication in her communications that there was a risk of cancellation until after she cancelled the appointment, the receptionist then continued to interrupt me continuously. I couldn't complete a full sentence without being interrupted. Not only the behavior of this individual was unprofessional and quite frankly, unacceptable, I'm more concerned about arbitrary policy that she referred to as started in 2026 where they will cancel appointments if you don't confirm. This shows that this was not an isolated incident, but rather a poorly communicated and executed policy that reflect poorly on the owners. When I asked to talk to the doctor/owner, I was told the doctor left for the day. This is concerning because had the appointment went ahead as planned, I would have to come back another day for the second half of the appointment. Outside of the obvious scheduling policy issue above, not having a doctor/dentist for an appointment defeats the purpose of the dental appointment altogether. At the end of the day, I'm not happy with the outcome here with this office. At the current moment, I don't know who I can't trust at this ultra smile brand. Is it the receptionist, the owner or the brand that I need to attribute this new found loss of trust. If you are a working professional, you may want to consider other professional options.

They offer online booking conveniently through their website, however there was scheduling conflict, and the receptionist called me the day before the appointment requesting to change the time. No problem. Once I arrived, I waited to be seen in the waiting room for over a half hour after completing my paperwork. The dentist came and inspected my teeth after the x-rays were taken, but before the actual cleaning. He took 5 seconds to look at my mouth, and told me that I had three cavities. I have never had a cavity in my life. I also had a cleaning at a different office 6 months ago and there was absolutely no discussion of cavities. This was a huge red flag. He then proceeded to lead back out to the front, and I had to ask him if a cleaning was included in my visit because that service had not been performed yet. So he led me back to the chair, and this cleaning was the absolute worst I have experienced. It was painful, and completely rushed. I have never, ever had a complaint about a dentist before. My teeth did not feel clean once so ever when I finally left. So I really was unhappy leaving, and I wanted to get a second opinion from a different dentist about this cavity issue. I needed to email my X-Rays from South Dental to the new place, and it was such a headache to acquire these digital photos. Their email attachments were not coming through, I was constantly having to call the office to check the status of this email being sent to me. I had my lifelong orthodontist take a second look at my teeth and X-rays and he told me that I did not have any cavities. As far as I'm concerned south dental tried over-treating me for something I did not have and I'm considering if I should report to the BBB. Very disappointing, as I really had high hopes and was looking forward to having a quality dentist in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this office.

I started a root canal with them which was not done correctly according to my new doctor. Also a deep cleaning which was supposed to be part of my treatment and i got charged for it anyway. Not done correctly so needed another deeper cleaning at my new doctor as well. They should not be doing cosmetic! When i went in to put in my temporaries, the doctor never showed them to me! He began to drill my teeth without me knowing what my temporaries were even going to look like. After drilling he placed them in and when i looked in the mirror i had a panic attack. I could not believe what was just cemented in my mouth. The teeth looked like those fake teeth you buy on Halloween. These were made "by their lab" they should fire that lab or get with the new technologies because when i tell you i was mortified. I began to cry and told them to remove it out of my mouth. He spent the rest of the night making a resin temporary, which looks so horrible, i can't even close my mouth with how big the teeth are. ( i have a very small mouth and teeth) it now feels like cement in my mouth. He placed the material high in my mouth on the inside which cause my gums to become extremely sore. I was not able to eat or drink anything let alone get any sleep as it feels like a block of cement is on my mouth right now . Luckily i did not let them finish my entire mouth, went for second opinions and found one of the best cosmetic dentist in Miami, and to my crazy surprise they are about the same price! When i tell you how mortified everyone at there office was when they saw my mouth. The dr here in this office does the best he can with the old technology they have at the office. I think he would have more potential if he would work elsewhere. He is kind and patient but i don't think he has the proper equipment, and not sure how much experience in cosmetic he has. save your money, they took my money and the manager or owner whoever she is her name is yuneisy refused to refund me my money. You'd think she has some type of sympathy but She kept telling me it's not about the money but kept it even tho i did not finish any of my procedures here.
