This is Miami's best dental practice bar none! Everyone, from the reception, to the hygenist, to assistants, to the dentists - overseen by the amazing Julio Hernandez - are super. Biscayne Dental has taken care of my teeth, and my husband, for over 20 years and we owe the excellent condition to their proactive treatments. Going to the dentist is one of the least likable 'To Do' events on anyone's calendar, but that is why the team at Biscayne Dental is so important. They make it simple and never add to any anxiety, instead taking care of whatever is needed in the simplest and most effective ways, with the least discomfort. My highest recommendation! read more

**See Update I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experiences at Biscayne Dental & Facial Aesthetics. My encounters with their payment and insurance handling procedures have been nothing short of a nightmare, leaving me deeply distressed. First and foremost, I was coerced into paying the full price for general dental services even though I had insurance coverage. The staff assured me that they would submit the claims to my insurance company for reimbursement. However, over the past few months, I have consistently faced the unfortunate reality of unfulfilled promises. None of the claims have been submitted, leaving me burdened with the entire uninsured cost. To add insult to injury, I was required to pay for services scheduled for my next appointment before even having the appointment itself. This pre-payment expectation seemed unreasonable and only added to my growing dissatisfaction with their financial practices. Despite numerous calls to address these issues, I have been met with empty assurances and unfulfilled commitments. The lack of communication and failure to respond to my inquiries has left me feeling abandoned and helpless. It is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for customer concerns and financial transparency. I expected a higher standard of professionalism and responsibility from a dental practice. This experience has not only left a dent in my wallet but also eroded my trust in Biscayne Dental & Facial Aesthetics. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for Biscayne Dental & Facial Aesthetics to rectify these issues promptly. Customers deserve a dental practice that values their well-being and prioritizes clear communication and ethical financial practices. I implore Biscayne Dental & Facial Aesthetics to take immediate action to address these concerns and prevent further harm to their reputation. Until these matters are resolved satisfactorily, I cannot recommend this dental practice to anyone seeking reliable and transparent services. **Update: I was contacted for resolution and there seems to have been a lapse in communication about this issue from Biscayne Dental which resided on the side of the insurer. The issue should be resolved within a week at which point I will completely revise my review. Update: Claims have been submitted, although I didn't receive a callback as promised. They have a great facility, clean, and the staff was friendly. Sub-par communication and too pushy on pre-paying for services prior to the appointment. For these reasons I won't be returning. Sucks because they were within walking distance for me. read more

From the moment I walked into the building, I was met with professionalism from the staff at the front desk, so I knew I was in good hands. I came in to create a new smile and fix a gap in my upper front teeth which Dr. Cesar was able to do with bonding. Dr. Cesar is the best and explains everything in detail to his clients, and I after I walked into this clinic I didn't look any further since I wanted a true professional to take care of this. I also did a cleaning which was included in the package as well as whitening, and all procedures I was more than happy with. read more

I have been waiting for almost four months for Biscayne Dental & Facial Aesthetics to provide an estimate for three procedures following an initial consultation. I have called and called and called, and each time the staff assures me that someone will be in touch by phone or by email within one business day - and each time, I am never contacted again. So the next week I call and the process begins again. Each time the staff are apologetic and promise me this won't happen again, and every week it happens again. I have never had to work this hard to get an accurate pricing estimate from a business. All I want to do is give this business my money, and they can't even help me do that. read more

Dr. Julio and his team have been assisting with my skin care for a few years. There are many reason why I keep coming back, and its quiet a long list. Lets just start by saying that the staff is by far one of the main assets. They are incredibly knowledge and not to mention how polite and welcoming each of of them are! As far as my treatments Dr. Julio is at the forefront of the most up to date facial and dental treatments. Im always so impressed on all the new techniques and procedures being offered. BD&FA is by far the best aesthetics office to treat all your needs. I highly recommend them 100% - I cant wait to book my next appointment! read more

I've been dentist hopping because i was never really happy with any of the clinics i visitedz This clinic happens to be a block away from me so I did a consultation with Dr. Julio and was very pleased with how transparent, realistic and informative he was. I have found my new Dentist/Orthodontist. Everyone is so kind, when you walk through the doors there is just a professional and welcoming vibe. I wish I got the name of the woman who took my teeth images, she was so great ! Made my visit really fun and comfortable. Excited for my Invisalign Journey !!! read more

Dr Julio is an absolute genius when it comes to getting your mouth healthy and also at restoring your smile. I had some major issues with both my gums and teeth prior to visiting his dental office. I had seriously neglected my dental health for years due to a busy travel schedule and outright laziness. As a result when I visited him for a checkup he identified several major issues which required oral surgery to remove some teeth and repair my gums. Once my dental health was restored it was time to fix my smile and this is where he showed his true brilliance. My results are far better than I had expected or even hoped for so for that I am forever grateful. Take a look at the pictures I posted and I think you'll be amazed as well. read more

I had porcelain veneers hand made for my top teeth to elongate & straighten my smile. Dr. Julio placed a long term brace on the inside of my lower teeth. I wasn't looking for a mouth filled with symmetrical bright (unrealistic) White teeth. Together we devised the perfect size, color and keeping the original shape of my teeth. I am an Artist & Dr. Julio's style & approach from beginning to end can be described in one word. ARTFUL. I would highly recommend him to anyone who cares about their oral health & their smile. read more

I LOVE Dr Julio Hernandez and his team! I had never liked a dentist before. I feel that most of them are not careful enough or detail oriented but Dr. Hernandez is both! My Invisalign treatment has been simply amazing! Even with all the crowding I had, his treatment plan has fixed all the bottom teeth in about 6 months. He changed all my fillings to white and my teeth never looked or felt better. I highly recommend this place for invisalign, fillings, and cleanings! read more

I just moved to Miami and was in need of a new dentist. I have never received a more courteous experience from both the staff and the Doctor from a dental facility. I had a cavity in the backside of my lower right molar. Dr. Julio ensured this was taken care of and corrected my bite as well for future preventative measures. Five stars. I would highly recommend this dental office for anyone in the area and if you are not it is worth the drive! read more

I rarely give my reviews 5 stars. I am a new patient and each appointment so far has been great. Fast, friendly service and painless dental work. The incompetence at Biscayne Wellness Center is beyond anything I've experienced (and I've lived in Miami for 9 years, so my standards are pretty low). I bought the Groupon for laser hair removal. I'm giving up using the last 2 sessions because I cannot put up with the front desk anymore. I called them earlier to reschedule an appointment and we agreed on a time and date. The automatic email they sent me for confirmation was for a different time, and a different area, so I called them back to confirm my appointment. They assured me it was confirmed and I should come at the time we discussed, so I proceeded to schedule my day accordingly. They then called me later to tell me that they had to reschedule my appointment for the time in the confirmation email. Apparently they are under the impression that clients are available at any time the front desk persons choose. They passed me from one front desk person to the next, who proceeded to ask me the exact same questions. Their nonchalance about the entire situation was astounding. This was not the first time the screwed up scheduling. In case you're thinking that maybe that's ok, it's Miami, so as long as the services are good, it's worth putting up with it - The laser technician is very nice, but I still have plenty of hair growth after 5 or so sessions, except for a few discolored patches where I got burned (last time I ended up with blisters on my ankles). Save yourself the the aggravation, and go somewhere else. read more

Dr Julio and his staff are so helpful and professional. He is our go to Dentist for everything and on top of being a great dentist he is also great at taking care of your skin. They are reasonable priced and very friendly. I give them 5 stars. read more

I had the hardest time finding a dentist when I moved to Miami but this office is the best! Dr Julio is very nice and very interested in getting your smile perfect. He took a lot of time with me and I really appreciate it! You pay up front and insurance reimburses you but it is no big deal at all because the front desk gave me all the paperwork I needed even the envelope and I just put it in the mail and had a check back in a few days. The office is really nice too! read more

Five stars go to Biscayne wellness!! The facility is clean, top of the line equipment and highly trained personnel. Flavia is an artist, she has an amazing hand and can reshape anyone's eyebrows! I was fortunate enough to be part of this family. Most importantly, I was blessed enough to work with Dr. Julio Hernandez. He is very intellectual in his profession which is what I found most interesting because we share the same passions in the Dentistry field. I've been going to the Biscayne Wellness Center for a couple years to get facials and do facial waxing with their Esthetician and Health Coach Flavia Martins and after speaking with Flavia about how I was feeling she suggested that I do a liver detox thinking that I would improve on how I was feeling. Well I just completed the 14 day detox with Flavia and I feel great! I've never done any detoxing, and was a bit nervous as this was my first time but it went so well and I feel so great that after my results I am almost addicted, and cant wait to do it again. The plan they have put together is easy, safe and it works. They give you easy to-do recipies, the vitamins & protein, paleo bars and two consultations with your Body Composition Analysis all for $290. I am 5'5 and lost 4 lbs over all, but was happy to see that I lost 5.3 lbs of body fat, lost 2.5 inches of my waist and gained 2 lbs of muscle. I started with having to loose 8.4 lbs of body fat and after 14 days I only have to loose another 2.4 lbsof body fat to be at my best body composition. The best thing is that I no longer have body aches, I have tons of energy and my head is clear with no foggyness. I am very happy wtih the results and can say that I now know exactly what I am putting into my body. Flavia was a great Coach with her support and answering all of my questions. I could not be happier! read more

As a new patient, I am very impressed with this office. At first, I called to make an appointment for cleaning only, as I was under the impression that the cleaning was the only thing I want and needed. However, the front desk ladies informed me that I would have to sit with Dr. Julio first to have an exam and X-rays, and then proceed with the Hygenist Stephanie. I was a bit hesitant, because I only wanted a cleaning. However, they explained to me that in order to make a proper diagnose for the cleaning I would need X-rays taken, since these are the Dr's eyes. Once I went, I realized I had so many issues going on. Dr Julio was very informative and showed me with the oral camera the inside of my mouth and what was going on. Later, I was with Stephanie the Hygenist and man, was she amazing. Did not feel any discomfort in my mouth and was told everything she had done. Never have I been so informed and educated on my health. For anyone going, the cleaning is customized based on the health of your mouth, which is what I love!!! The exam and cleaning is nothing compared to what I have had done. Biscayne Wellness Center honestly goes the extra (s)mile! Loved it. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Dr. Julio and Biscayne Staff!!! read more

I am also doing radio frequency on my neck area and have already seen the improvement with only 3 treatments. Thanks Dr. Julio and staff !!! read more
