This place is okay. When I walked in Saturday night to dine in I noticed all but three tables had chairs set on top ready for closing. It was off putting and made me feel like I was walking in on them after hours. Place was still open. I order chicken stir fried and sat down at one of the three open tables. It took a while for the food to come out. Like, a little longer than it should've for how empty it was. Only one other guy in there with me. But I suppose they had phone orders, too. Food was brought to me, and it looked pretty appetizing, too. However, there were lots of under cooked onions. And the kicker, the rice wasn't cooked all the way through. Imagine el dente pasta--el dente risotto. This was el dente rice. Boo. Ruined what could have been a decent cheap eats meal. read more

I'm obsessed with teriyaki and Mindoro Teriyaki has of the best chicken I've ever had. It's not dry and definitely isn't pre cooked then reheated. I love the combo with chicken teriyaki, prawn tempura, gyoza and an egg roll. It also comes with rice and salad and is very filling! The prawn isn't the typical Japanese tempura but more like an at-home deep fry, which isn't bad just might not be what you'd expect. Located on the back side of a little strip mall off Bothell-Everett Hwy, Midori is a little tough to find...but worth the search. Order at the counter, then take a seat and they'll bring it out to you. My Chicken Teriyaki meal (soda included) came out fast, fresh, delicious, and a good size portion. Overall...A FANTASTIC VALUE! My favorite in the area by FAR. I always wonder how come they don't put everyone else out of business. They even send out Value-Pak coupons for buy 1 get one 50% off! This is me and my roommates go-to place for teriyaki, especially convenient since we live about 2 minutes away. They are always super nice, very fast, and the food is great. I get the plain ol' chicken teriyaki, the guys get the spicy chicken teriyaki. We usually ask for no salad, so we can get more rice.... They also give you a free soda of your choice with your entree (in a can, so convenient for take-out!) Their gyozas are pretty good too. The only sad part is that they are closed Sundays, which most Teriyaki places are, but it seems like Sunday evenings are when we do not feel like cooking and crave Midori.... (hmm, I wonder if their teriyaki freezes well...) Overall, quite tasty and one day I'll venture out of my stand-by and order something new and come back and tell you all about it. read more

I like that they have a spicy scale for their spicy dishes (Spicy Teriyaki Chicken is what I had) so you can ramp up the heat if you so choose. For a teriyaki place, this is definitely one of my favourite places to go. Their teriyaki chicken is very good and you get a decent portion of everything. The container, when you take it to go, is always half salad, half rice/entrée. Although so far I've always ordered a Taro Bubble Tea with my order, you do get a free soft drink, which just makes the meal even better. i think when restaurant changes ownership/management they should lose all their yelp stars and have to start over. This is not the same place i once gave a five star review. i got spicy chicken a few weeks ago and thought it was just a bad batch, but but i will be searching for something better after ordering yakisoba swimming in sauce. . . puddles in the bottom of the box and the rice just soaked so that 2/3 of it was soggy and brown and everything tastes way too sweet. the noodles were also soggy and soaked with sauce if you want large portions of average teriyaki this place is fine, but no longer worthy of 4-5 stars read more
