I used to be a regular and really WANT to be a regular again. Stopped going because of the service. Their pizza, once you finally get it, is fantastic. The ambiance there is laid back and relaxing....IF you're not hungry and pack a ton of patience. If the owner isn't there cooking, unfortunately, the service is profoundly lacking and to have to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for a slice and a large pizza is mind boggling. For my daughter's birthday, we decided on a late lunch, got there at 1:45 PM, no other customers were there and the cook wasn't making anything so we honestly thought it would be a good experience. After deciding to sit outside, after 5 minutes we got the flatware thrown onto the table, no order taken for anything, including drinks. Then the delivery person (I suppose) or girlfriend of the cook came and asked us what we wanted to drink and they were brought promptly. We waited another 15 minutes and we finally just went to the counter to order since it didn't appear our orders would get taken any other way. Ordered an appetizer that arrived 30 minutes later burned on the bottom and around the edges (spinach artichoke dip). The parts you could eat were great but too much of it was burned. Then another 45 minutes went by. We got the large pizza finally but the SLICE was "going to be a little longer"....WHY? We tried to cancel the slice but it was finally coming out of the oven so we just got it to go. With that said, the pizza is really good. My daughter live out of state and I don't get a lot of time with her. She and I were both looking forward to THIS pizza as we've not had it in such a long time but sadly, this was such a disappointing experience it'll take another 2 years for me to give them another try. read more

I really enjoyed this venue. I have lived in Clear Lake but moved to the inner loop. I get great pizza inside the loop (of course) but nothing compares south of the beltway... until Midnite opened. I stopped by on a Friday night where I was greeted by a friendly owner and her staff. The waiters are young and hip. There was a great band playing that night and I sat outside. It was a really cool, down-to-earth friendly vibe about the whole place. It was like everyone there enjoyed being there and wanted to have fun; which was nice for Seabrook. This place is a hip pizza joint for all the ppl that enjoy being cool, listening to music and eating pizza. So... as for the pizza, I had the margarita pizza and the caprese salad; both were DELICIOUS! I love that they have all natural ingredients that is as healthy as pizza can get. Awesome Reuben pizza. Large slices and a fun place to hang once the weather cools off. I like that it is dog friendly which makes for an even better local flavor. They will have to expand quickly once the word gets out. It is a one woman kitchen and she is throwing pies as fast as she can. However, bring your own beer or wine because perfection takes time. The pizza is well worth the wait. The only negative I found was the brushcetta was alot of bread and very little bruschetta. read more

The stuffed mushrooms are perfect. Everything fresh and flavorful. We had a rowdy 6 and 4 yr old and they just had a good time. Looking forward to bringing my husband at night when the lights are twinkling. Also our waitress was the best. It feels like Austin. Groovy read more

Good pizza! Crust, sauce, toppings all good quality, great flavor! Pizza needed to be baked longer, it wash mushy in the middle. Also, the menu needs improvement. They should list sizes of pizzas and daily specials for ease of to-go ordering, at least. As a 1st time customer, it felt very uncomfortable to bother employees with these simple questions on a BUSY Saturday night. Overall, good experience, will definitely try it again!! read more

My husband and I were just looking to grab some late night pizza to take home. We came across Midnite Slice, and it was way better than we expected! We tried the Captain Pizza and Whedda Loca, as well as the spinach and artichoke dip with breadsticks. It was all phenomenal. The bread was soft and doughy, and the pizza was very high-quality taste! If you are accustomed to partially hydrogenated oils and pink slime, steer clear of this place. It offers what I consider to be "artisan" pizza. Purely handmade with real ingredients. Garlic butter is made with.......garlic and butter, not artificially garlic flavored soybean oil. It's really hard to find a pizza place that isn't either completely synthetic or borderline synthetic. If you enjoy real food, I highly recommend this place. read more

I am sure this place has great food, but unfortunately their customer service and management is poor. We ordered pizza and were told it would arrive within 45 minutes. After over an hour we were done waiting and called to tell them to cancel the order. We never got the food, but they still charged my card. When I called to have them remove the charge the manager admitted that the food wasn't delivered and that they did not have a signed credit card slip, she gave some crazy story about slamming he door in the delivery guys face (we were asleep by the time he arrived, if he arrived at all because I never saw anyone, so the delivery guy is full of it), then she proceeded to call me a "whiney bitch" and hung up on me three times. She refused to give me her name. Sorry, but I wouldn't have had to "whine" or "bitch" had they brought our food when they said they would or within a reasonable time, or if they didn't wrongfully charge my card. I was charged for a service I did not receive, anyone would be unhappy. I've worked in restaurants before and regardless of the situation it is NEVER ok to curse at someone, especially from a manager. To the owner I ask: is this how you train your managers to treat people? I'm disgusted. In response to your response: First of all, if you (the person I spoke to on the phone) were the owner, why did you not tell me so from the very moment I calmly asked to speak to a manager and explained my situation? Why would you beat around the bush instead of saying "I am the owner of the establishment". All you said was that you were the manager. Why would you not tell me your name and add that you're the owner when I asked? I only got upset when you told me you would explain why you were charging me anyway and LIED about the times that I called to cancel. I called you to cancel an hour and ten minutes after we placed the order. My sister has the calls saved in her phone and I know how to do simple math. That's 25 minutes late. And we went to sleep shortly after. Your driver was not 'in the building' when I called. I never saw your driver. I never 'slammed the door" in anyone's face. And if it was you I spoke to then shame on you! You did call me a bitch twice! I never called you any names. I said I wanted my money back because charging someone for a service they did not receive is wrong! You can skew the story all you want but bottom line is if you were working on a refund all you had to say when I first calmly explained the situation was "your refund should process in a few days" instead you decided to tell me what I had done wrong. I'll admit I got upset, but only because you wanted to teach me a lesson instead of simply telling me the refund was processing. I would have stayed totally pleasant had you not tried to mess with my mind with your little conversation. You wanted to piss me off, so an angry customer is what you got. I will gladly pay for a service I received but I didn't receive anything from you. If people want to do business with an owner who calls someone a bitch then they can. This is NOT a family restaurant! I took my two sons here awhile back looking for some good pizza and what we got was a nightmare. First off, we walked in the door and ALL of the staff were outside smoking, took about ten minutes before someone acknowledged our existence. We watched the cook come back and start cooking with out washing his hands. We finally sat and my son had to use the restroom so we walked over to it and while i was waiting the waitress came over and opened up a dirty looking ice chest and stuck her hand in to get the ice! Then i decided to use the restroom myself and it smelled like marijuana.! We finally ordered and the pizza looked and tasted like it had been reheated my water glass was greasy! Our waitress had makeup smeared on her face reeking of cigarette smoke. To top it all off there were some kids drinking outside being very obnoxious. This place is a joke! What to say? I have a hate hate love relationship with Midnite Slice. Being an over worked professional in this" industry", I have no food at my place. Needless to say, when I don't have enough foresight to satisfy my hunger needs, living in Seabrook, who do I turn to late night? Midnight slice.. In 2 years of reluctant patronage, my pizzas have ranged from terrible to great. By the way, I am from the east coast, so I do know what good pizza tastes like, unlike you Texans. But the customer service ranges from good to stupifried. If you know what I'm talking about.?. One time the driver says" $12.50, Tuesday special" I give him a $20 bill and I say " give me $2 back". Delivery pizza! $5 tip is pretty good... Driver says he didn't have change. Is that a joke? Go get my change then fool!! Now I'm not happy and have no tolerance for you. A delivery pizza guy who didn't have $8.50 in change? Are you kidding me? Driver burns rubber out of my parking lot in his 96 Ford 4 cylinder truck... 40 minutes pass.... I call Midnite Slice. WTH! Comes back with change. Comes back with $2. I say" where if the rest?" Driver says" you said I could keep the rest". Not after 40 minutes of waiting and calling your business about my money! . Go get my All OF MY CHANGE FOOL! Burns tire again! It's called common sense people. I have traveled all over the Country and have ordered Pizza everywhere but this is the WORST Pizza I have ever ordered Period. I cannot think of 1 single thing that was decent. I ordered because of the Reviews Online so I was shocked at what was delivered to my door. My guess is that their is quite a few made up reviews or I ordered on a VERY Bad Night. The Pizza came with a side of Breadsticks as well. When I opened the lid the Top of the Pizza and Breadsticks was Burnt...and I mean BLACK BURNT! when I took a breadsticks stringy cheese was stuck to the cardboard and lifted with the Breadstick and started to run like liquid. I said to myself Oh they added cheese..... WELL IT WAS NOT CHEESE it was PURE! RAW DOUGH! the same was on the Pizza. They had the Oven at least 250 - 300 degrees to high. It completely turned my Stomach. I could forgive this "Hey it was a mistake east fix" BUT the sauce for dipping was pure water tomato sauce straight from a can. I tasted it with my finger.....It was a sour tomato taste stight from a can with ZERO seasoning and tasted like tomato can taste! I ordered 1 topping Hamburger......There was maybe AT BEST 2 pieces of hamburger per slice of Pizza. I cannot see why all the GREAT reviews? Skimpy toppings, sauce that's poured from a can and not cooked, sloppy QC to even serve a pizza like that. I can understand the raw dough being overlooked because it was on the bottom but to serve a BURNT PIZZA on TOP that was pathetic! They basically served SLOP! In short Pathetic. I called them and told them the problem but did not want a redelivery because the sauce was so BAD and the toppings was a joke, so I said just keep my money. Too Many Restaurant in Kemah Guys!!!
