On a recent rainy day, my sister, mother and I ventured into downtown Anchorage to eat at a specific restaurant. After parking in the garage, we descended to the first floor, and saw the Midnight Sun Café. We decided not to go outside in the rain, and eat here instead. I am so glad that we did! I had the amazing Veggie Breakfast Sandwich on a croissant. If I could eat that every morning for the rest of my life, I would have a smile on my face all day long! My mother and sister also enjoyed their meals. The service was great, and I would gladly eat here again if I were ever in Anchorage.

Cozy and perfect. Great prices, and plenty of options. Everything tastes fresh and local, and it's a fun place to go in Anchorage. I got the Flying Pigs in the Garden on a croissant and I recommend.

Great food, mediocre cold brew depending on the barista. The prices are high I think and the service can be very slow paced. It's adorable keetcy cafe, It's like perfect for visitors and locals alike.

Stooped in for a quick lunch. Got the Italian vegetable goddess sandwich with chips. Very delicious little sandwich. Cute shop with lots of pastries and coffees. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

If you're looking a place to grab a sandwich and soup, you've found it! Things I like: - so many hot paninis to choose from - great soup - good coffee - nice local art on the walls - friendly service - breakfast served all day: pretty good prices for grab-n-go breakfast sandwiches too This place is great if you're a tourist walking around downtown or a local looking for an early breakfast or a lunch on your lunch break.

I've been by this spot a hundred times and never really stopped in, I've been missing out! Such a quaint little shop with a nice staff and delicious food. I had the turkey bacon ranch panini and she had half a BLT and the Midnight Sun Salad. My turkey bacon ranch was DELICIOUS! Toasted multigrain bread with the perfect mix of turkey and toppings. Her BLT was equally delicious and a perfect addition to her salad which was fresh and well put together. This shop is a gem right in the center of town.

After getting into Anchorage late at night and waking up early with the time change and sunshine practically all day/night...we were hungry for breakfast. Nothing was open near our lodging so we walked into city center and saw this cafe. We ordered at counter and our eggs came in a big croissant; very good! Coffee was good too! Our server was interesting but friendly. I had to clean the table we sat at and we were the 1st customers so I dropped a star but since in Anchorage I've had to do this at several places?!? Not sure why other than Anchorage is casual...

One of my favorite bakeries I look forward to going to when I visit Anchorage. The variety of…read morepastries breads, soups and sandwich they have always look mouthwatering. It's just a cute place to vibe at and be around the community. There is a coffee shop, plant shop, juice shop and small market in the same building which makes it worth the stop. The seasonal ginger bread chia tea from the coffee shop is like Christmas in your mouth. The turkey sandwich is like thanksgiving with cranberry sauce and pecans. The sweet potato burban cupcake was actually to die for. The cake was moist with a carm filling of pecans and bourbon topped with a light cream cheese frosting. I'm never disappointed with fire island. A jem in anchorage.

The sausage was good though, and a bit salty, which might have balanced the seasoning in this item but the chunks were too few and big to be balanced. - messy egg salad sandwich: a lot of dill, heavy on the pickled flavor, and good red onion crunch. This was just ok. It looked better than it tasted, unless you're a fan of dill. Mainly got this sandwich to try their bread but the bread was an afterthought. - maple rhubarb muffin: hard pass. Can't taste the rhubarb and barely any maple. The bottom also was more burnt than anything. It seems they may have over mixed their batter, muffin didn't have a tender crumb.
