Took it to them, and they worked hard to track down the issue (including getting quality replacements for intermittently failing engine sensors and replacing hoses that impacted the problem). I came in because my steering wheel was shaking when I braked. I first went to Kia service center who was trying to charge a lot more so I left and went to Midas down the street. When I came in to Midas to get a quote, they were really busy but they managed to help me get new brakes and rotors before their end of shift. The team was very welcoming and they really made me feel like a valued customer. I really love their lifetime warranty on the brake pads. Did an alignment. Although I was skeptical because Firestone has a lifetime alignment program, but bad reviews. I'm happy to pay the price knowing the quality work I'll get. Didn't realize how much I needed an alignment until I drove on the freeway after the fix. Waited awhile to make sure everything was good. No waiting area to sit down. They do have some good arcade games to use, but for the most part you wait at home even with appointment if you have alot of service to get done. Brought in my truck , and RAV4. HORRIBLE customer service! I get it people make mistakes, but it's how you fix and own up to those mistakes and make it right for the customer that tells me everything I need to know about the company. Had an APPOINTMENT on Friday for a routine oil change that took them 4 hours (what's the point of having an appointment if it's going to be a 4 hour wait - No waiting room for customers mind you). My vehicle has never leaked a drop of oil. We bring the car home, first time we move it, huge basketball size puddle of oil on my newer driveway that was poured 18 months earlier! Had to take time off from work to take my vehicle back down to Midas, they didn't even apologize (Even after seeing pictures of my driveway that is now ruined). The issue? They didn't screw in the oil plug cap. I overhear one of the workers tell the owner "What can we do for this customer to help with this"? Owner doesn't say anything at all. I bring up the oil leak on my driveway again, they then have the AUDACITY to proceed to tell me what I should buy to soak up some of the oil on my driveway that is a result of THEIR negligence from not screwing in the oil plug. As I walk out the door, they then say "sorry bout that" as the door is swinging shut. Never seen such LACK of customer service in my life, especially for a problem that they created, had to take time out of my day and from work to fix and now have an oil-stained driveway. They can't honestly think people will come back to them when they treat their customers this way, which leads me to believe they just don't care, as is evident by everything I just witnessed first hand. He made my girlfriend feel super uncomfortable, he kept starring at her chest area, wouldn't make eye contact, he messed up my moms car, couldn't take accountability, and he bribed us to give him 20 stars that he will put cheap brake pads on the car. Auto repair is an industry sometimes known for less-than-honest business practices and unnecessary billing add-ons, this place is the exception! Very honest and helpful! Richard, at the front desk, was extremely helpful on the phone and in-person. He took the time to walk me through multiple options to solve my car problem and even let me know which options were basically optional and which options were absolutely needed today. Even the mechanics in garage were friendly! The waiting area reeked of cigarette smoke. Mark, the ostensible owner or general manager, must feel it's ok to expose his customers to second hand smoke. My experience here was trash due to Mark not honoring a price he gave me over the phone. However, all of his employees were SUPER KIND. So, what are we talking about here buddy? $5 DOLLARS you couldn't honor and discount as you said on the phone? It's not about the money. I could care less about $5 dollars. It's about customer service, but you clearly know nothing of that since you took a gamble on me leaving by saying you couldn't honor the discount due to "inflation" and that you were only making "$3.00" off of my business. This guy is a joke to have the audacity to impose his personal problems onto his clientele like that. I got you my guy. I needed a brake inspection but have a car not every auto shop knows how to work on. I called Midas to ask if they worked on my make/model. The gentleman on the phone asked a question or two, then told me the shop doesn't work on my car type, but went on to give me the name of a local auto shop that does. I was shocked! Went in for brake repair, got an estimate of $1600 on a 2005 Toyota Matrix, they told me everything, I just wanted a check, they said it'll be a hour, I was walking home and saw my car being driven real fast past me, called and mentioned that, said the tech was trying to recreate what my issues were, yeah right, then about 2 hours later, I get the quote, nope I said, I'll come pick it up, they put it back together and I drove it home, went to work and nothing unusual but on the way home, kept feeling a rumbling noise, got home and my wheel lug nut were loose, every tire had a few loose, that's it, im calling this morning and complaining, nothing will be done about it , never going to that one!!!!! read more

My best service experience ever. Herman, Richard, Carlos, and John deserve a standing ovation! I took my grandmothers vehicle into this place due to her having a check engine light on and her in need of a smog. The bought the vehicle in and got paper work started on. They then told me my check engine light was on due to my gas cap barely on. They then proceeded and said I can show you and sure enough my grandmother left the gas cap loose. They then told me They will go ahead and clear the code and do a smoke test on the vehicle it passed. After it passing they told me they did a complementary inspection on the vehicle they found the front brake pads low and rotors to have hot spots and also the coolant to be dirty and low I request them to replace the engine coolant along with the front brake pads and front rotors. They told me that they vehicle should not be smog until the drive cycle was performed, cause I was going to take it to get a smog due to the light now being off. There all of the following: Always friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly They are reasonably priced, professional, and speedy. I will be referring my friends and family to Midas .
