Bill, CJ and Chuck took good care of me this month. I was told by another mechanic that I needed an a/c compressor. These are expensive. Chuck was able to find out that it did not need to be replaced. Instead, it just needed seals replaced. Saved me $$$. They were very honest and could have just said that it needed a compressor. Very impressive! Also had steering issues that another mechanic could not find. Bill figured it out that it just needed new tires was all. Made a world of difference driving it. Took car in for misfire on cyclinder number 2. Changed plugs and a coil pack. All four tires and recharged ac, and wheel alignment. Then only drove the car maybe an hour then it started flashing battery saver mode and my vehicle was only able to go 20 miles an hour. Remind you that I had my three kids in the car with temperatures reaching over 90° so done some research that it possibly could be, a failed alternator, replaced alternator and battery and sensor for battery all on my own after leaving the shop also found large amounts of oil on top of where motherboard is located. Still wasn't able to get car to stay running after leaving the shop I sent it to the dealership , Ed Martin and Anderson they stated that the PCM control board was at fault. Find it hard to believe that my car ran and stayed running before it went to Midas Anderson now the dealership is trying to tell me I need a PCM boardin order for my vehicle to stay running in operable. They inform me that the PCM board is on backorder and will have to wait three months for the dealership to make one and total cost of repair is $1900. Find it very ironic that vehicle ran before it went to Midas of Anderson and I have a large amount of oil, where PCM is located. Been on phone Back-and-forth with supposedly the office manager for Midas of Anderson was supposed to get a call from someone above him, but never got a phone call back. Then call back and supposal. Office Manager literally hangs up on me because he don't like that. I called him out on his shady way of getting repeat business. this is complete ridiculous that you pay well over $1000 and open a new credit card through them then spend hundreds of more dollars in tow fees and dealership, diagnostic fees, and countless other parts etc. to now basically happen to buy new vehicle because they want to be crooked and sabotage peoples vehicles to get repeat business. What a joke, a disgrace a shame and businesses wonder why people don't trust them or nor give them any of their money or business because you have crooks like this mindas of Anderson Ripping people off instead of doing honest, good work. Today Midas of Anderson, Indiana almost cost us an engine. I took my husband's 2016 RAM 1500 Big Horn there for an oil change and brake work. They only put 5 quarts of oil in when it is supposed to take 7 quarts. When my husband checked it this evening he made that discovery. Why in the world do they think it is acceptable to fill it 2 quarts low? Upon further inspection, we discovered that they left oil all over parts of the undercarriage from where they drained the old oil. This is completely unprofessional in of itself. The brake work that they said was "needed" probably was unnecessary too. I have never had an issue there before but I assure you that I never will again because I will never take my business there again or to any other Midas for that matter. Fool me once, shame on you. It's a looong story, but I'll attempt to shorten it up a bit . I got into a fender bender ( front passenger side) I had my car towed to Gerber auto collision ( suggested by my insurance -progressive insurance) Got my car back from Gerber and the plastic undercarriage ( skid plate was dangling off and pieces were clearly missing from my car-mud flaps on the front tire, and the front bumper has a noticeable crease in it- I argued with progressive Ins about my car- so I refused to pay my deductible to Gerber. Went to Midas to confirm damages that wasn't fixed by Gerber. They told me to order the parts needed through Infiniti - (cause it would save me money ) instead of Midas ordering it. Got the parts - which was $250, plus whatever Midas charges for labor I will take my car to Reilly's and sons to fix the crease in my fender- Midas can't do that. So moral of this story - Gerber is horrible, and progressive insurance low balled my damages with Gerber. These A-holes were -All in it together. read more

I do not recommend these guys I took the car to repair replace the head gasket paid $2000 and then after that I got more problems than I ever had with the car because after they did the head gasket they didn't fasten all the wire thought it was giving me all kinds of error codes and the car was going into Low Power Mode which would not let the accelerator work properly. Each time I go in they tell me that something else is wrong with the car and the estimate is $300 $600 to get it fixed that is rip off. read more

Noticed my brakes were starting to grind a little. As a single person that has no other vehicle and no help with transportation, every time something goes wrong with my car I go into panic mode because I work Monday-Friday 9 to 5 hours so it's difficult to have it fixed without missing work. Very few places are open or have a mechanic available after business hours and on weekends. After calling several places, Midas agreed to work on it on a Saturday morning. I have a foreign car so it can be difficult to find parts, so I wasn't surprised when they said they had a hard time finding the caliper that needed to be replaced. But, they DID find one. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be in before they closed shop. Before I could even go into a massive anxiety attack thinking, here we go again with missing days of work or spending hundreds of dollars on a rental, they offered a loaner! By Monday afternoon I received the phone call at work that my car was ready! Compared to other places that literally made me go weeks without transportation or having to rent or borrow co-worker's vehicles while they waited for parts to come in, two days was a decent amount of time. Plus, I was able to get to work no worries thanks to them lending me their vehicle to drive. Car is safely back on the road and I'm a happy customer! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the price is a little higher than I wanted to pay, but it was worth it to not miss who knows how many days of work. read more

I wouldn't go near this place. I called about having an alignment done on my vehicle and was told it would be $69.95. Great! I make an appointment and show up 30 minutes early. The guy tells me it will be an hour and a half and asks for my number so that he can call when the work is complete. An hour and a half goes by and I return to the shop to find my vehicle still sitting on the lift. The guy tells me the discovered several issues pertaining to ball joints, suspension, and that they can not do the alignment without repairing said issues. I sarcastically thanked the guy for wasting an hour and a half of my time for nothing when he could have called to tell me that information a long time ago. I then headed to my mechanics garage to confirm the issues described by the Midas employees only to find out that they were merely trying to sucker me into work that was not needed on my vehicle. I then took my vehicle to a local, reputable shop to have the alignment work completed without issue. I wouldn't let these guys pump gas into my car. read more

Used to take my car there all the time when I worked across the street at Harvest, but all of the old management/employees have changed since then. Took my car in because the front end was making a noise (sounded like it may be a bad wheel bearing). $500.00 later, they told me they had replaced the front right wheel bearing and had greased everything up but that it was making the noise still and asked if I wanted them to replace the driver's side as well. Knowing the sound was coming from the right side, I told them I'd just wait on that and stopped driving my car for a couple months until my dad had a chance recently to take a look at it. He replaced both front wheel bearings and guess which one was worse... the front right one that they supposedly replaced and, in fact, did not but charged me for it anyway. The sound is gone and I am finally able to drive my car again, no thanks to Midas. read more
