I hit a curb on the way to visit my dad in the hospital. I wanted to make sure the tire was okay before I went inside, so I went to Tires Plus, which was the closest place to the hospital. I arrived about 15 minutes before closing and was greeted almost immediately. The gentleman who greeted me was happy to check my tire, said it looked all right, and then suggested that they make sure all my tires were filled properly. They had me pull to a bay and they checked all four tires and added some air. It was incredibly kind of them to make sure my tires were safe and I appreciate it so much. I normally always use Tires Plus to get my oil changed. Yesterday I went to the Carmel location and got an oil change. They took a little longer than I had hoped to get the oil changed, however, when I was leaving the parking lot I noticed there was a huge screw that had gotten stuck in my tire somehow when they were doing the oil change. I called them and told them what had happened and also told them I had to get to a meeting in 40 min. The manager got my car in immediately and did not charge me for the repair. Because of that, I will definitely continue to use this location. They would get a 5 star review if they could just change the oil faster than 1.5 hours. read more

Used Carmel location twice and had terrible experience both times. Messed up order first time sat there for 4 hours instead of 30 minutes. Second time I needed simple tire patched. Dropped it off at appointment time and waited for them to call like they said. Never called and they didn't answer their phone so I went back hours later and found the place locked up, tire not in my trunk, and my keys in the middle of my car sitting in plain sight. Next day still no call and tire wasn't fixed when I showed up. Fixed it for free which was appreciated, but both experiences very poor. read more

So dependable, so quick. I've used them many times for simple things like oil changes and tire rotations. I love the convenience of calling day-of and (usually) getting a same-day appointment. I would recommend calling a day in advance, however, I have always been impressed with their ability to accommodate. It usually takes about an hour for an oil change/tire rotation, so I head over to Blu Moon Cafe or SoHo coffee across the street to get some work done in the meantime - no problem! They also check things like windshield wiper fluid and brakes while they're with your car- they truly care about the entire car. I appreciate you! read more

My car battery died and I was in a pinch! I was able to jump my car and get it to Tires Plus. They were so helpful over the phone and let me bring my car in right at the end of the day! They explained all of the options and educated me on the subject! They were able to get my car back to me that night! I've been happy with the fix! My car stopped after getting gas. I had no idea what to do. I was in between 2 repair shops and neither had tow service. I called my insurance and had a 75 minute wait to tow my vehicle 200 feet. Mike walked over to the gas station and tested my battery. He gave me enough juice to drive right over to him to get me a new battery. I am truly thankful for him. Disappointing! I left the car for an oil change. They gave me a paper indicating that the wiper fluid was ok and it was empty. The tires pressure were above the reading on the paper. They cannot be trusted. read more

Poor experience from start to finish. Came in for an alignment with an 8am appointment. I was told the alignment would take "45 minutes to an hour." Nearly an hour later, the guy at the counter came out with a laundry list of recommended repairs. I agreed to have our rear brakes and rotors replaced. Three hours in I was told the brakes were fixed and they were going to start the alignment which I assumed had been done before the breaks. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they're going to waste hours of my time before doing the work I came in there to have done? They seem much more interested in up selling customers than in providing quality service and respecting people's time. I will never give them my business again. read more

Took my son's car in for AC service, explained my problem, they provided a recommendation and an estimate based upon what appeared to be the issue, I had them proceed with the work and it was done when promised. Will have to consider returning to them when I purchasing new tires. read more

Don't know if anything come of this but the store at this location needs a class on customer services including the manger name Nick. I had a 12 pm appt for brake work and arrived a few minutes early. They pulled my vehicle in and lifted it up on rack. Vehicle stayed there for 30 plus minutes with no one doing anything.. ie inspecting it. Manager and staffs mostly standing around talking and looking at cell phones during this time except for checking out 2 customers who vehicle has already been serviced. Granted after the two customers was checked out (1 by the manager) the manager went back out into the bay area with other staff members talking and looking at phone. I call the manager over and asked him what's going on with my vehicle and he came up with lame excuse that they was having technical issues (based on flyers inspection is mostly visual), so I asked why no one was doing an inspection. He then told me that one was done (granted all of the tires was still on axles and lift wasn't high enough for someone to get under vehicle to inspection anything). When I told him to let my vehicle down due to no one doing or did an inspection he coped an attitude and told the staff member he was letting the vehicle down because I said no one said anything to me (which was a lie) but is a valid point for me to do because if an inspection was done someone should have came to me and told me the outcome of the inspection. Attitudes like this and customer service can and will give Tire Plus a bad reputation because I for one will be taking my business elsewhere as well as recommending no one take their vehicle there for service. I took my mini-van in he day before we left on a road trip during spring break. My vehicle is new to me & I wanted t looked at to make sure we would travel safely. I did call the day before for an appointment. I arrived on-time and was greeted by whom I assume was the manager. (I apologize, I didn't catch anyone's name) Throughout my entire experience, he was helpful & polite. The mechanic explained I didn't need tires or rotation at the time. They did give me a list of issues I will need to have taken care of in the near future, none of which needed immediate attention. He explained, with drawings, why and what needed repaired. Carmel location- rude manager. Do not do what they say. Dropped a vehicle for diagnostic. They pulled the vehicle in the bay, started to look at it and then pulled it out doing nothing. I had to call them for the update after driving by and seeing the vehicle in the bay. They told me they couldn't look at it until the next week even though they had it in the bay and hood was up. I hate when I move and need a service but don't know where to go. My family moved to Carmel, IN last summer. I had my oil changed once somewhere else but wasn't impressed with the service This time I ended up at Total Car Care and they were fantastic. Got a great deal on a full synthetic oil change. I asked them to check my tires which I knew were close to bald. They quoted a price but I decided to go with CostCo. Well the manager asked what CostCo was charging, beat their price, and gave me an extra $50 off for signing up for a credit card. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and very fair pricing. I got a flat tire on my way to work and was in need of a quick replacement. On a Sunday. Seeing as how there aren't too many tire shops open on Sundays, I ended up here. And boy did I luck out!! Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help you find the best quality for the best deal! Wonderfully helpful and with outstanding patience. They understand that not everyone knows cars very well and will take the extra time to make sure you are comfortable and educated about what they are doing! Super impressive. We have used this Rangeline Road Tires Plus location for decades and have been very pleased. Jonathan is a friendly voice when you walk in the door, and if he's away, everyone else is professional and pleasant as well. They are quick, efficient, caring, and responsible (they cracked my windshield once replacing wiper blades, and promptly paid for the replacement). They'll check your air in your tires for free if you drive up. They keep really busy because everyone who goes there comes back, so I'd call for appointment. I don't know how they find so many great people to work in one location, but it's quite impressive and we really appreciate them. We take all of our cars there regularly, not just for tires, but for all oil changes, tire rotations, engine lights, noises, bulb replacements, and even for advice! Once I was picking up my car and telling Jonathan that we were going to be selling our car and getting a new one, and he gave me really great tips on which cars are good choices from a maintenance point of view, and which to avoid. This place is a good find! And with so many places within walking distance, you can drop off your car and walk to places like Blue Moon and enjoy a nice sandwich while getting some work done on your laptop, and your car! read more

Guess I am not able to give "0" stars or I would...... I should start by saying that I had been a loyal Tires Plus follower for years. Recent events with their tactics have relegated my wife and I for never returning again after the recent shenanigans. First- my wife's car was having some brake noises and after having them look at it, we were informed that even though the brakes were barely 2 years old, we needed extensive work done and it would cost several hundred $$ to get things back to normal. When my wife challenged them on the fact that these brakes aren't that old and it could be impossible that much work needed to be done, they starting backtracking on their tune and suggested that maybe limited work needed to be done and they apologized if she was offended by the original estimate. We opted to not have them do ANY work and went to another repair shop, explained the situation and for barely $100, took care of the noises and sent us on our way. Secondly, my vehicle. I bought a complete set of tires here about 6 months ago. One of the tires was starting to develop a chatter with tremendous road noise. I took the vehicle in and was told that the chatter was being caused by faulty struts and that was going to cost upwards of a couple thousand $$. I have an extended warranty at the dealer for my car. I told the gents at Tires Plus that and their retort was "those extended warranties are nothing but money makers for dealers- they would tell you your struts were OK if they were bad". So, I took the time to schedule a visit to the dealer and low and behold, no bad struts. So I went back to Tires Plus with the news and they proceeded to want to show me the bad struts (no idea what I am looking for), which I did and then was told they probably wouldn't replace the tire anyway because I had no documentation of consistent tire rotations. So, needless to say, even though I had hazard coverage on the tires, I went to another tire store in town, proceeded to tell them my stories. Struts were once again determined to be fine, tire replaced- all is good with my car and I am not a couple grand lighter in my wallet. It is such a shame, because as I started with in this review, they had been good to us for several years. If they try to ding you with a significant repair bill, I would recommend getting a second opinion. We won't be back. read more

Applying multiple coupons by just me asking, informing me of a brand name, better quality tire on sale instead of me buying a discount one. Very rapid turn around on my vehicle and friendly. Long story short, I needed help with a flat tire on a Sunday. I called ahead and was assured it would not be a problem. I talked to them when we dropped it off. I called an hour before close and was told they are getting to it, but it would be taken care of today. It is 7:30 p.m. I have not heard anything. no phone call to say its done. no phone call to say its not. My truck has the tire off and is sitting in their garage. I was supposed to leave for work tonight, and trusted the guy in the office to take care of this. My fault. I am still waiting to see what happens tomorrow.... read more

Used to be a decent place for tires and brake work. Recent visit proved otherwise. Tried to sell me on repairs not needed and gave me a grocery list of items that they recommended repairing or replacing. (cabin air filter for $63.00). Left without any repairs done and would not recommend especially if you don't have a high level of car repair knowledge or experience to keep them in check. Be warned, they do a complete inspection before they even do a simple job like an oil change. Like they are looking for more repairs so you will spend more money on upkeep that may or may not be needed. read more

I went here because I needed my front brakes repaired and in years past when I lived in Fort Wayne I would buy my tires at Tire Plus in Fort Wayne. The staff was courteous and polite. I left my car with them to check out the brakes and it took them less than 2 hours to get back with me with the quote. They quoted a reasonable price for labor, but they were absolutely ridiculous on parts prices. I called the local auto parts store and asked for the price of identical type-grade of parts. I could have accepted a bit of mark up on parts at Tires Plus compared to what I can buy myself. But Tires Plus wanted to charge almost 3 times more than if I bought the parts myself. So, I checked another repair shop in the area who quoted less than half the price quoted by Tires Plus. (I couldn't even spend as much on parts at the auto parts store even if I chose high end parts) The staff was courteous and friendly when I picked up my car. I'd say the staff has customer service down pretty well and they charge fairly for labor, but the parts pricing, at least for my brakes, was way out of range of reasonable. I will not be coming back to Tires Plus ever again in the future. read more
