I didn't have a lot of time this morning in between running errands, however, I noticed my right front tire was low and my left front looked low as well. Stopped them at this Tire Barn and it was unusual that there were no other customers there at the same time. I asked for three things: please fix the right front check the left front and I need a quote for new tires. They were right on it. Service took less than 20 minutes and everything was done. I expected to pay for the repairs. That wasn'tthe case. As you can see, it was a no charge transaction and I look forward to getting my tires there in the near future. I needed 4 new tires, they quoted me $400 less than the charge actually was. Then threw in a free oil change, but I had to drive to the Muncie location. There they wouldn't give me a free oil change and said even if they did they would be putting trash oil into my car. The service guys said all the "free brake or oil" promos is trash product that will destroy your car. They then offered an oil change starting at $100. All in all I paid $400 more for a wasted trip to Muncie. read more

I'd leave less stars if I could. Called and received a quote, called back set up an appointment confirmed said quote. Got to my appointment and they acted as if they had no idea what was going on. I was then told that said quote was for 2 tires. Last I checked a "set" consists of 4, not 2! Offered me a set of economy tires for less than original quote. Refused. They quoted me a price and then couldn't stand behind it. Not my fault that 1) you didn't listen to what I was looking for when you gave me the quote, 2) that when I called back and confirmed someone different agreed that the quote was correct. I get it that quote was too good to be true, not my fault and it should have been honored even if you lost money on it! You make way over what you should from every other job you do daily. Taking a loss and keeping a customer was a choice you decided wasn't worth it. Oh and the next time a female calls, inquires for herself, and shows for the appointment, don't direct the conversation to the guy who is picking her up! There's a chance he's just giving her a ride so she doesn't have to wait at your business while the work is done. So very disrespectful! read more

There was an issue one of the techs overlooked and I went back in and John, the manager, was really professional and courteous. These guys went above and beyond to make things right and then some. I understand that sometimes stuff happens; it can happen anywhere to anyone. A business and crew that steps up, takes responsibility, and makes sure their customer is well taken care of and back on the road safely is a company I will continue to do business with over and over and over again and recommend to my friends! I have used Tire Barn in the past for replacement tires and found there prices to be competitive and the workmanship good. My most recent visit was for a tire repair. I took the tire to the store and had no appointment. The staff were friendly and attentive. They could not start the repair immediately due to other customers before. I was given a clear expectation when the repair would be done. I returned at that time, they knew me before I said a word. The repair was done and paperwork was ready. I came in with a tire that had gone flat @ 70 mph. I was not sure that the tire was fixable. They had a similar tire for $250. After taking the tire off, they determined that it could be patched. I want to commend the staff there for their honesty to save me money. read more

I went to the Tire Barn in south Anderson to have a tire repaired. Didn't really need the expense as I am still between jobs. When they finished I ask for the bill. I was told there was "no charge". WOW! As it turned out there was some kind of warranty on the problem. I had bought tires there but it had been a good while back. I can not say enough good things about the Tire Barn South in Anderson, Indiana. Every experience I have had with them has been great. Great people who don't mind your toddler running around, man there let my son play with one of the smaller tires. I can't say enough positive about the Anderson Tire Barn. I bought a new set of tires from them a couple of years ago. Ongoing service is free - tire pressure, regular rotations. Recently, I decided to let my dealership do a "free" tire rotation when they did my oil change. They called and said two of the lugs were stripped and wanted $250 a piece to replace them. I got the car back as quickly as I could, took it back to Tire Barn, and they rethreaded all 5 lugs on one wheel, put new lug nuts on, and didn't charge me a cent. You cannot get better service than that!!! Needless to say, the dealer has lost my business forever and Tire Barn has it forever - I won't buy tires anywhere else! read more

Went in to have tpms sensor replaced on 07 tahoe . They said they could do it would take about hour and a half. I also ask for tires to be set to 35 psi. As I had checked rf was 39 both rears 38 left front senor was dead. So I left and came back in hour and a half, said I was next no problem I'll wait. They were about done so the counter person said he would ring me out . Went out to Tahoe and tire tech was Finnishing up. He told me the tpms light was on and would go out after driving for 15 minutes over 30miles per hour if it didn't they would reset it. So knowing this wouldn't work I, left and turned right on 9 went to lowes turned around and went back to tire barn light still on. Tire tech said I would need to drive 15 min. I told him no if you trained the new senor you have to relearn the system. He went in and had the counter person come out. He proceeded to put the Tahoe in relearn mode and relearn the system. When he was done he rudely shut the door and said drive for 15 min . It will go off and walked back inside. I checked light was out. So I told the tech the light is off now . On a GM you have to relearn the system. On GM when u replace a sensor or rotate the tires you have to relearn the system. You can do this one of two ways. First with a tpms reset tool, second is place the system in relearn and inflate or deflate the tire till horn honks starting with left. Front. When done. The light will be out and will read current pressure. Being a tire shop you would think they would know this. And would have never of sent me out with the like on. I'm a tech of 42 yrs and yes there are some cars you have to drive to relearn. Very disappointed in this store. Thank you James read more

I was travelling on I-69 this past Saturday and hit a pot hole. I slowly watched the tire pressure gauge on my car go from 25 to 24, 23, 22....and knew it was bad. Luckily, I was right at the Anderson exit and knew Tire Barn wasn't too far, so I got off and headed that way. When I arrived it was 6 pm and there was one gentleman standing outside and he was obviously leaving for the day. When I asked him if they were closed, he informed me they closed at 5, but said "let's take a quick peek". He took the tire off and saw a crack in the wheel. He told me he could temporarily patch it to get me to where I need to go, but it would need to be fixed/replaced asap. He also noticed a screw in one of my other tires and plugged that while I was there. I was with my 8 year old son and really appreciated him going the extra mile...AFTER they were already closed. So, thank you, Steve Young, for your professionalism and humanity. When I offered to give him cash, he only said, "I just want to make sure you get home safely, keep your money". Unreal. To top it off, the shop he sent me to for the fix, was 10 minutes from my house in Fishers and welded it for $150, so I don't need a new wheel. I've used this Tire Barn location in the past with much satisfaction, but that changed today. I had scheduled an appointment online in advance. When I got there, they could not locate me in the system. I brought a copy of the confirmation email with me to the appointment, yet the clerk kept asking for my name, address, etc. I then stated that I had brought vehicles there before, but they said they had to "transfer" the online appointment to their system. (??). As for the tires, they seem ok, but I was not happy that the online appointment confirmation price quote failed to calculate sales tax, disposal fees, and other hidden charges. I ended up paying $40-$50 more than anticipated. Also, he tried to sell me a "road hazard warranty" at over $13 per tire, which I refused, because in the past, it has been included in the new tire warranty. When asked what the warranty does cover, I was told tire rotations and flat tire repairs, but all I was given was my receipt at the end, but I have nothing in my hands that shows that Tire Barn will honor this "warranty" when it comes to actually get the work done. I have one more set of tires to buy this season, and you can bet I will be shopping around for the best bang for my buck as well as better customer service. read more
