Went in for a coolant system flush " do you have a flush machine yes we do" continued to watch them take the bottom radiator hose off to drain the system the start refilling, with no flushing involved. Charged me for 5 quarts when the went to the back and filled the empty jugs with water. read more

Don't like to do this, but unreliable service ended up costing me double to replace my tire. Called in to see if they had a specifiic tire, said they didn't but said they could have it in store from warehouse next day by 1pm. Told I was coming from an hour away to pick up. Got a call at 12:50 telling me they had shipped the incorrect tire to the store. Don't know what happened, but either the person requested the wrong tire or the people in the warehouse didn't pay attention. Ended up having to go somewhere else and pay twice the amount for a different tire that was on my car. The guy was very polite, but it's bad business to guarantee a product in this service industry and blatantly not deliver costing me more and an insane inconvenience. Very polite, but don't recommend if you're needing something reliable. read more

So I had 2 vehicles at Big O tires today one was minor stuff. Change tires and rims. Do and alignment. They did a great job. The other was a bit more major oil change, brakes, rotors, wheel bearings replaced, plus more. They did a miraculous job. The car has never driven better. I am so happy that I let them do the work instead of Toyota. They went above and beyond to help me get 2 vehicles to the shop. They did the work that the vehicles needed and did not nickle and dime me. They were excellent. I truly felt like a one of a kind customer. Amanda has been answering my questions for well over a week. And no matter how many times I called or stopped by she was pleasant. Always eager to help me. That is the reason I decided to return with my vehicle and let them do the work. I figured if she would take the time with me when she was not making money off me. Surely I would get the same respect as an actual paying customer. I did and realized that this was a place that I wanted to do business with for years to come. Not only was I treated well by a very knowledgeable individual. An individual who took the time and make sure I was comfortable with my decision. I was also made to feel like I was the only customer in the room. And I am sure they treat all their customers in the same respectful manner. Phil was my mechanic and he was a very nice knowledgeable guy. I felt very comfortable with him working on my vehicles. I even kind of felt like he was my personal mechanic for the day lol. The experience was just amazing all the way around. You get an old time service here with a smile and all the pleasantries that you do not see nowadays. My whole family uses Big O we have had 3 or 4 vehicles go there for tires or misc. repairs over the years and are happy with our vehicles for the MOST part. Yes, there are times we have had to come back and they have had to fix it again, but Big O makes it right for their customer. If what you need done isn't an emergency though, and you know what you're doing, I recommend getting your own parts to save a little money if it's not tires. read more

I went to this location as I had a blowout and it was the tire dealer closest to me. The three remaining tires on my vehicle were in good condition, but this location gave me a good price for a new set, stating that with winter coming, the ones on the car could use better tread. I had my vehicle serviced recently and the mechanic said the same thing (the tires were okay, but the tread was worn and might not allow for good handling in snowy conditions) so I said okay to a new set of tires. I drove home - 10 miles - without any issues. After leaving the car to sit for a few days, I drove it to work and immediately was met with the "Tire pressure" warning light. One of the tires had lost over 13 pounds of pressure. Before I went home, I aired it up to 36 lbs. The next morning, the same tire was completely flat. It's obvious that the tire was defective from the get-go, and the time and inconvenience this situation has cost me more than makes up for the "super low price" on the new tires. I regret coming here, and should have followed my instincts and gone to the same place I purchased the original tires. Quality control is not one of the high marks for Big O. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place. Took my car in and they said my car needed new brakes, rotors, shocks, struts, and tires. Quoted me $2700 to replace all. Took it in for second opinion at cooper tires in Muncie. They determined it needed front brake pads, shocks, and tires. I definitely recommend a second opinion if you go to Big O read more

I went to a tire store today with a totally non-tire problem. I had been checking my fluids at home in the severe cold today. When I went to close my hood it would not properly latch. Being a Sunday the only automotive place open I could think of was Big O Tires. I explained my silly plight to the gentleman at the counter, without hesitation he told me someone would be right out to help me. One of the gentleman from the garage met me in the parking lot. He graciously looked at my hood latch and worked for a few minutes to finally get my hood safely latched. I offered to pay or even give him a tip since I was there for a non tire related reason. He smiled and politely declined saying it was his pleasure to help and just remember them when I need tires. Without a doubt I will be back when I need tires for sure. Nice to know there are still people out there to help out of generosity and good will! read more

I've had a horrible experience the last couple of times that I've used Big-o. I dropped my car off during the Thanksgiving break. They were supposed to fix my Leaking oil gasket. After a tune up, oil change, new tires and finally a gasket fix. I still had several incidents with my vehicle. They forgot to plug back up my Thermostat sensor. Which cause me to miss several days of work. They refused to pay the tow bill for my vehicle breaking down. I had a second mechanic take a look at my vehicle and they said I still had a gasket leak. I took the car back to big-o they assured me the vehicle was running fine. Still they refused to reimburse me for the expenses of towing the vehicle or having a second opinion. Today I went out to my car and checked my oil levels. I was 3 quarts low. I'm still having gasket issues. They refuse to admit there is an issue or even acknowledge they've done anything wrong. After spending over $1,500 in a two month period my vehicle is still not working correctly. I refuse to go back to big-o or even allow them to look at my vehicle again. read more

Big O Tires provides great customer service. They've been servicing my cars for about a year now. I work nearby and they always get my car, change the oil and bring it back. I usually just call and pay over the phone. Matt (I think that's his name) is always most helpful and I've never had any problems with the work they've done on my cars. Customer service like that is hard to come by nowadays. read more
